Singaporeans are encouraged by a new group of Moses to go to their
promised land, overseas. This little paradise that we have created is
not good enough for our able and talented, or not meant for them. The
talk is to go to all corners of the world. This sing song session is
gaining in decibel and the Moses must really believe that this is the
way to go.
Let me fast forward to see what it will be like if this call is to take
its natural course. Our talented will be moving out to sell their
expertises overseas, residing in foreign land, their new promised land.
Some may leave their families at home with the maids. Some may rent out
their precious and multi millions homes to the mosquitoes or to new
tenants. Only the daft and less talented will be left behind in their
near to a million dollar public housing.
In the general economy, our industries too will be moving overseas to
make their pot of gold. There is no need to worry about hollowing out.
Many foreign companies will be welcomed to take over their vacated
places, same business or new business, all the same. And the foreigners
will also bring in more foreign workers, talented and not so talented,
to fill up the shortfalls of manpower as the citizens left for their
promised land.
Our paradise and the beautiful and expensive homes will be occupied by
foreigners, own or rent, to enjoy the first world city and facilities
while our talented will be fighting it out in third world countries for
their trophies, roughing it out and taking the risks in foreign land,
away from the safety and comfort of the paradise they were used to.
What happens if 50% of the citizens left for their promised land and are
replaced by foreigners? Is this a good thing? Why do we work so hard to
build a paradise only to be encouraged to vacate it for third world
people to share and enjoy? Logical?
When the Europeans were building their empires, they went overseas too.
But their missions were different. They left their homes to conquer, to
rob, to loot, to bring the resources and gold home for their loved ones
to live a life of leisure and to pursue the good life. They went out to
bring wealth home, not to abandon their beloved homes. They know where
were their homes why they were out conquering the world. Their promised
land is still home unless they could turn the foreign land into homes
like the USA, Australia and other conquered land. They did not bring in
foreigners to fill the vacuum left by them, at least during the glorious
days of the empires. The Europeans built their era of renaissance by
conquering the world and bringing wealth home. We are emptying our nest
of talents.
What are we thinking when we want our talented to go out when paradise
is here, when home is here, when all the third world talents or no
talents want to be here? And the net effect is to leave a void at home
to be filled by the dubious talents of third world countries.
What do you think?

Maybe it has already happened.
Do you know how many real local born Sinkies, new Sinkies, PRs and foreigners are there now?
Not so much that the real Sinkies left but because more foreign talents come in so real Sinkies become 50% lah.
And I will ask like LKY ask. So?
Instead of tio bo, if there is anything not right, Sinkies should now ask "So?" Hahahahhaha.
The So Question: Mr Lee’s favourite question is “So?” If you update him on something, he will invariably reply with “So?” You reply and think you have answered him, but again he asks, “So?”
Education Minister Heng Swee Kiat
So what is the solution? Continue to build our homeland or leave it vacant to the FT, to come home one day and find that you are truly an alient to your country. So, what the Fxxx is our ministers think?
Can Asians think?, obviously "maybe", the european societies and japan became stronger by deployment, with the focus still on it's main branch within it's own borders, it's very different to going there and planting your seeds, like in japan, the only country that surpasses or is equal to european standards, japan's muti-nationals took the lead with the govt and spear headed not individuls, and form allies.
Leaving the shores might be a good idea within this meritocratic empire where the main news media urges the govt how to eradicate with the only opposition we have, when the locals have left and looking at the stats of decreasing percentage points on every poll, re-zoning, pr's into citizen, the ruling party can be here for another cool 40 years and perhaps taking the century mark.
Money still rolls in regardless of a few billion lost (10.4 billion) now and then, what we need is the head count to sheep in the profits, it's actually a good move to throw away the high paid locals and replace with cheaper ft's, even with them beating our locals, no problem....the cash is still rolling in, we're still the best ports, air ports, zoo (wish i'm a panda), etc etc.
Can asians think?????.
Redbean:"What do you think?"
God: "So?"

>> What happens if 50% of the citizens left for their promised land and are replaced by foreigners?
As long as they are the 50% of dead shits who are holding the cuntree back.
>> Logical?
Absolutely and perfectly ;-)
>> a void at home to be filled by the dubious talents
People can upgrade their skills and improve, even if they start off with "dubious" talents, but are highly motivated to "succeed".
The local dead-shits however perennially demonstrate that they are too good to improve, with the added aspects of having really bad attitudes, "victim" mentality, and refusal to take responsibility and adapt. Good riddance to bad rubbish :-)
You think dead shit can afford to leave this country like you? You want to work in foreign country you need to be good. Even if you want to migrate to a developed country you need to meet their stringent requirements.
But coming to Sin is so much easier. Dead shit also can.
Daft Sinkies still consider this little dot as home.
Your grand ah kong left his hometown to seek fortune here and promised to remit money back to enable them to have a better life. But make not enough money to send back.Your generation make enough but fail to remit. The 3rd generation become westernised and condemn their cousin oversea.
Sinkies are facing a punishment .Even you want to return to your grand ah kong homeland oso nobody want leow.
Kwai kwai stay put and repent.
What do I think?
Singapore's future if there is one will be as hazy as what it is like when the Indonesian forest fire rages.
Question is;
Will the Average Singaporeans be able to cope up even if they are willing to compromise their living standard with long working hours at low wages, staying in dove cages not much different in size from the cells in Changi Bungalow. And with everything from essentials such as food and utilities to transportation, healthcare and education ever rising.

If a sinky can find an oveaseas job, he can buy a house, a car, setup a family and make his life complete. That is better than spending entire life complaining. It is ok that foreigners take over, there is nothing much anyway - just some bricks and glass. One big flood (or haze or earthquake) and this small island will be gone in hours. The only people who stay behind are the elites and they will be washed away. Problem solved.
If you love someone and that someone do not love you back no matter how hard and much you have tried, it is time to move on to someone else. That someone is just not worthy of your love. There will be someone out there more suitable and worthy for you so long as you are willing to take the first step to get out of an unpleasant situation.
Talk is easy. How many Sinkies are good enough to be accepted in other countries. You think those countries' immigration policies are as shitty as Sin? All rubbish are welcomed.
'What happens if 50% of the citizens left for their promised land and are replaced by foreigners?" RB'
- most likely we will have many newly minted citizens from third world forming the government and becoming ministers kicking out the current useless bunch.
