A
young reporter was interviewing a very dignified and prosperous looking
minister.
Reporter: A penny for your thought, Sir.
Minister:
What is that?
Reporter:
It is a coin Sir, like ten cent, twenty cent….
Minister:
Never know they have such things.
Reporter:
Have you taken a loan before, Sir?
Minister:
What is a loan?
Reporter:
Oh, when you buy a car, you borrow some money to help you pay first and then
you pay back to the bank over several years.
Minister:
Oh I see. I did know you can take a loan. I only pay cash.
Reporter:
For your car, Sir?
Minister:
No, for the houses I bought.
Reporter:
Wow, how many houses do you have Sir?
Minister
smiled: Honestly, I don’t remember how many I have.
Reporter:
One last question, Sir. Have you been poor before?
Minister:
What is being poor?

But some ministers are born poor, you know.
So much so that they even tell the whole world about it.
But because they are smart, they later become rich by becoming a minister.
Other Sinkies are smart to get a high pay job or do a good business and so they also become rich.
When they are rich, they will be happy and satisfied. And such Sinkies will most likely vote PAP even in a by election, unless the opposition is ready to become a better govt than PAP lah.
The opposition is not even ready to become govt, let alone a better govt than PAP.
No wonder there are still at least 60% who voted for PAP every GE.
So you can't really blame the 60% lah, tio bo?
You thank the ministers that the 60% is decreasing very elections. 2016 60% becomes 50% or even better 40% tio bo? What to do?
Your story about the minister is so wrong. A minister knows all about loans - that's why they have all the affordable loans. They also know what is poor. A $2 million minister is poor.
That's the difference between those who, when looking at their CPF statements can tell the whole world that they feel very rich.
That's also the reason why some can boast of $8 heart bypass while others have to pay tens of thousands of dollars for the same operation.

You die is your business. Please stop your subsidy mentality.
Grace Fu (who is our Minister of State for something or the other). Writing on her own Facebook wall, Fu says:
“When I made the decision to join politics in 2006, pay was not a key factor. Loss of privacy, public scrutiny on myself and my family and loss of personal time were. The disruption to my career was also an important consideration. I had some ground to believe that my family would not suffer a drastic change in the standard of living even though I experienced a drop in my income. So it is with this recent pay cut. If the balance is tilted further in the future, it will make it harder for any one [sic] considering political office.” Grace Fu.

Doesn't matter rich or poor, as long as they vote PAP, they are good voters. Of course good voters for PAP lah.
Doesn't matter black cat or white cat, as long as they catch mice, they are good cats.
Doesn't matter what thoughts, or which minister, as long as they win elections, they are good ministers.
Ya lor. Besides PAP, only WP can win elections. That's why WP is the best opposition party lor.
Best but not ready to be govt. Too bad for Sinkies lor.
Even worse for Sinkies.
The PAP gahmen is not ready to govern even after 10 years.
And PM Lee is still not a good Prime Minister after 10 years.
Minister steal toothpicks, public servants steal $millions lor.
I once went house to house visit with a local politician to a block of one room emergency flat(now demolished)in a HDB estate. When told of the tenants living in these flats were very poor and often in arrears of rental and PUB charges. the policician asked quizzically:" Why did they write a cheque?"
Who is this minister?
" Reporter: One last question, Sir. Have you been poor before?
Minister: What is being poor? "
Alternative brutal truth:
Reporter: One last question, Sir. Have you been poor before?
Minister: Of course, I have been poor before, otherwise how is that GST is hiked to help the poor as Pinky have reminded us many times ? And soon after GST is hiked, our pay increased to millions. It implies that we are in fact POOR MINISTERS therefore GST must be hiked to help us. Thank goodness, you have such wonderful minister capable of such critical and analytical thinking deserving of more millions. Be mindful, be thankful that more GST hike is coming your way to help the poor ministers with more millions, all for your own good. And most importantly when that times, please read the right things of how GST hike is good for you in our NumberOne State media, and avoid listening to GST DRUMS online.
Reporter: One last question, Sir. Have you been poor before?
Minister: Yes. Before I join PAP, I was very poor. Now, I feel so rich.
GE 2016.
Who else wants to be a Millionaire?
I think we will see big changes tomorrow since old man going to die soon. Rich or poor still have to die. The rich ones usually die slowly since cannot easily let go.
FORTUNE TELLER SAY :
After 18/8 at 8 pm English rally... all the 8 (FATT) ...........
2016 election ..... pap = 80% votes !
ha ha ha ........
Why bother about the thoughts of a minister when we can vote them out by collaborating?
If the daily shit is worth it's weight in gold, poor people would be born without arse holes.
You people don't take this seriously. This is an imitation of Bill Gates conversation with Steve Jobs in a humorous way to show how rich they have become. It is fiction and meant to be humour.

Is PAP ready to be government?
