What makes me angry about my country
The most annoying thing whenever I returned from an overseas trip and found myself at the checkpoints and had to face some foreigners sizing me up, looking at me with distrust and doubt as if I am a potential terrorist or a danger to my country. And to have them asking me silly questions as if they are the owners of my country and I a foreigner needing to appease them so that I can get pass the checkpoints quickly.
I am not sure how many of you share this same piss off experience as a Singaporean, completed our NS, trained to defend this country and now treated like a threat by foreigners. In my case I am even more angry as minding the safety and security of my country was once my business. Why must Singaporeans be frisked and checked out by foreigners on returning home?
Something is crazily wrong with this process. This is like hiring ex convicts to be security guards of vital installations. Singaporeans should be the ones at the checkpoints checking foreigners and worrying about the foreigners doing harm to our country and our people.
Then there are many govt bodies and institutions where Singaporeans ended up with some problems or issues and have to plead with foreigners who are employed to boss around with Singaporeans. Some even throw their weights around, looking at Singaporeans as pain in the arse or some pathetic forlorn travellers needing their help and mercy to make life less troublesome. Why are Singaporeans put in situation to be shafted around by foreigners employed to position of power and authority over Singaporeans?
In the name of security, in public and commercial places, many foreigners are employed to be security officers. Put a uniform on them and even a rapist or murderer instantly became a security officer. In shopping centres or outlets some of these jokers can even restrain customers and conduct personal searches. What is happening? And they could shoo Singaporeans at will, thinking and behaving as if they are the guardians of Singaporeans. What do we know of the background of these security personnel to push Singaporeans around and hustling Singaporeans as security officers in our country?

Just vote them out in GE 2016.
And make sure you persuade your friends & relatives to vote with you.
Because there are not enough Sinkies willing to do the type of job for that kind of pay mah.
And worst of all, there are no Sinkies able to form a party to be ready to replace PAP as govt what.
You see, the problem is very clear and simple lah. But the solution is very difficult, almost impossible, tio bo?
Yes, the solution is very difficult to make all Sinkies happy and satisfied. Maybe only 43%, not all. So still not bad lah.
But the solution is very simple to make many Sinkies cowpeh cowbu, especially those who served NS and whose jobs were taken away by foreigners.

But 43% are still happy and satisfied to vote PAP in a by election what.
In Matland, a bit more at 47%, and the incumbent even won 60% of the seats and form the govt without the opposition.
And despite their opposition and leader very strong and more than ready to be govt. Not like Sinkieland strongest opposition and their leader, you know.
So how to vote PAP out, with WP still being the strongest but not ready opposition?
What is it that I do not have the same experience as RB when returning from oversea trip or overland trip. When returning from JB, I just open the car boot and let them check. All the time the customs officer do not check. I said thank you Sir and be on my way. At the airport I always use the green lane, no customs officer ever stop me or check me or frisk me.
So I do not know why RB get frisked.

Sometimes looks matter. Because I never get frisked except when the detector beeps.
Have you ever considered that you may on the list of persons that the immigration and customs have for closer inspection since your other commentators and I have never faced the same problem?

I believe they are trained to conduct checks, maybe including looking at dressing, body, behaviour, facial looks, etc for potential terrorists or drug traffickers.
In Australia, they even use dogs to sniff for drugs. I read a case where the dog just sat beside a drug trafficker in a queue and that was how he was caught.
The principle is why are foreigners, ie PRs, be employed to guard the security of our country?
Its all about $$$$$$$, from top to bottom, left, right, center,.... its flooded with $$$$$$$, and everyone is grabbing except Singaporeans, as we are trained that way by PAP...
Let all be awaken, and all will go for $$$$$$, and it will be worst off for ALL, just wait and see.... more violent stuff on the way.

Probably because the contracts for "security" (haw haw haw) were outsourced to firms which won the government tender.
And we know who those firms are - - probably one of the HUGE global HR firms which corporations and governments hire to fulfill "staffing requirements".
They recruit heavily from India and Phillipines because those cunts SPEAK ENGLISH (or something which sounds like, and is supposed to be ENGLISH).
Anyway, after 9/11, the "war on terror" created many "opportunities", allowing all sorts of profit - seeking enterprises to flourish, especially in the "services industries".
Many Sinkies are too proud and look down on security so they should not feel uneasy to be check by them.Foreign Malaysian security personnel can do a better job than Sinkies who only know how to exploit their bosses ,cannot follow SOP and ask for unreasonable pay.
PMET should work as security and stop kpkb there are no job.
My friend just complain to me when he went to give feedback and some suggestion to URA on a summon issued unfairly yesterday.He was treated as though he is there to beg for the waiver of 6 dollar fine instead.
That officer handling the case is a Sinkie. Arrogant and think Cheng Hoo Larng is great. FT would not behave like the way he behave.
Sinkie should be punish if they do know how to bring up humble children to serve the public but want to be in civil service.They deserve to be boss around by FTs.
Make security officers a reserve professions for sinkies only. Our security must be our concern and in our own hands.
Don't be like those idiots. Put a robe on a rascal and instantly worship him as a priest or monk. Put a uniform on a crook and respect him as a man of authority and get ordered or pushed around by him.
What do you expect when people voted for a party of traitors? Just have to swallow whatever pride you still left, lower your head, avoid eye contact, say thankyou and please all the time like a third world maid to these foreigners in your own country. This is the reality. Accept and be grateful that the gov has not gone to the extend of stripping you naked in front of all those foreigners or hang you for being a local.
