Either now or later
China has no choice but to defend its territorial sovereignty, either now or later. The concerted conspiracy to force the issue on China is getting closer to a flash point. The Japanese are making more wild gestures to rip Diaoyutai from China. They even cooked up ridiculous acts like buying the island as if it was Japanese land, ignoring it as a piece of Chinese territory. It is a repeat and revival of the arrogance of the Japanese Imperialism in the 19th Century. The Japanese still think they can bully China and seize or occupy Chinese land at will.
In the Spratleys and Paracels, the Vietnamese and the Philippines are agitating their claims through Asean. The Empire behind the whole conspiracy is quietly planning and moving its military pieces into the region.
China has no choices left. It has to put its foot down and establish its control over its territories. Any hesitation and wavering will be seen as weakness and will encourage more adventurism from the provocateurs. The earlier that China makes a stand by sending its naval craft into the islands the better. It must let the trouble makers and opportunists know that China will fight them off and the provocations should stop there and now. China is no longer the Sick Man of Asia and its land is not for distribution.
The US will be there screaming and shouting foul. That is exactly what the US wanted to do. It is now or later, and better now than to allow the provocateurs to keep inching in nearer for a fight. A bloody nose may be needed if China is to avoid further advances from these countries. This position must be made known, clearly, with no buts, to the Asean leaders in Cambodia. Let no one have wild dreams that they could divide up China’s territories like the West did in the 19th Century. It is also about time to put Japan in its proper place, that all Chinese territories must be returned and compensation for seizing and colonizing Taiwan. The confrontation with Japan and the Americans over Chinese territories will come, only a matter of time and in what form.

What about the "Northern Island" that the Japanese wants it return from Russia.
Would that give them the right to seize Chinese territories?
In the years between 1830s and 1940s when China was weak and disunited under the decadent Ching Dynasty, the West, Russia and Japan managed to make a concerted effort to dismember China and illegally took away much of Chinese sacred lands. This was known as a policy of cutting the Chinese melon and sharing the spoils among the warmongers and aggressors. In addition to taking away much of Chinese lands these warmongers and aggressors forced China to pay each of these marauding countries indemnity amounting to several hundred million dollars in gold and silver. In between 1860s t0 1880s Russia by fraud and intrigue and by force took away not less than three and a half million square miles of Chinese northern territory extending from Lake Baikal ( formerly a Chinese lake ) to the Pacific coast facing Japan including the present island of Sakhalin ( taken from China in 1885 ). Japan attacked China in 1875 and took away the Chinese islands of Liu Qiudao in the same year and subsequently renamed it as Okinawa. After the Second World War Liu Qiudao and Diaoyu Dao were supposed to be returned to China by the United Nations which had the trusteeship of the islands but after the Korean War the treacherous USA instead of returning these islands to China , illegally and arbitrarily handed them to Japan in 1954, since USA had an overlordship and full control of the United Nation body.
In South Western China imperial England carved off large chunks of Chinese territory and incorporated them into British India which is now the seed of content between China and India. In 1915, Imperial Britain then arbitrarily drew an artificial boundary line, the Mcmahon Line to legalise its robbery of Chinese lands.
China has not yet recover back these lost territories and yet the same Western pack of warmongers headed by USA and Japan are using plots and intrigues and using proxies like the Vietnamese rats and Pinoy vermins to steal more Chinese territories.
It is right China must rise to the occasion and should be fully and well armed with the latest and most modern military weapon systems to deal these warmongers and aggressor a fatal blow. China should be prepared to wage an all out total ruthless war and make sure the war is fought on US mainland. US should be made to pay for its wild adventures and aggression.

Now is the time for China to slaughter the chicken to frighten the monkies. Take on the Japanese to show the Vietnamese and
Filipinos not to try anything funny.
Actually Temasek (Singapore) belonged to China.
Let the actions begin!
Making a lot of noises is no different from an empty vessel.
Hilary said, 'No nation ca n fail to be concerned by the increase in tensions, the uptick in confrontationalk rhetoric and disagreements over resource exploitation'...in the South China Sea dispute.
Didn't she notice that since the devil arrived, the tension has gone up. Now what has the devil been doing to raise the temperature and then acts as the peace maker to pretent to cool temperature?
Yes, now is the time to take Asia back. Asia belongs to China, since dynastic times. We have Asian Values to guide us, no need these western hypocrites and western religion. It is for every ones good to let China protect us. Indo-China and South-Asian nations must understand this and submit yourself to China, this is our age old Asian way. China is strong and she will take care of Asia economically and militarily. During the last 40+ years China was not ready to take on the US pacific fleet that was intruding in the China seas and never left, but now, China is strong and it is time ! Wan Shui, Wan Shui, Wan Wan Shui !
Yes China is not like the western colonizers of old. China has never conquered and colonised in ancient times. But times are a changing and China has learnt a lesson or two from these western barbarians. And it is for China own good. All territories belong to China - Tibet, Mongolia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South China Sea, etc. This is natural and good. China will protect her interest violently, so please do not try. The so called friends Russians are trying to dig for oil with Vietnam in our South China Sea! How dare they ! Don't infuriate China, we Chinese are not to be trifled with ! The whole of South China Sea, including the minerals, sea live stock and sea lanes of communication belongs to China. But, we Chinese are a peaceful people, we will let you sail in the South China Sea to trade ONLY, strictly no military hanky panky. Time to gather all people of Chinese descent diaspora to rise up !
Time has changed, the world has changed. China should develop itself as an economically and militarily strong country. But China must establish good relations with countries around the world, promote peace and development for the benefits of all.
And China should be humble and be respected as a generous big power. Do not be like the hegemonic Americans that only think of ruling the world with its weapons.
RB, this anon is insane.
insane anon: 以德服人
We shall see.
"China never go around conquering the world even at the height of its power. Only western powers did, colonised and ruled the subjects as over lords, robbed their countries and their dignities.
The Mongols did when they conquered China, not the Han Chinese. Even when the Manchus conquered China, they did not go beyond the historical territories acknowledged as part of China. The dynasties built walls to keep to themselves, not to attack other countries."
The Tang Dynasty expanded westward into modern day Kazahkstan and Turkestan at the height of Tang power and brought many non Han peoples under the Tang banner and made Tang China more cosmoplolitan until the modern age. It wasn't until internal rebellions and a resurgent Turks presence that forced the Tang back into historical Chinese lands.
So the historical record belies your claims. When China was at her peak in the Han and Tang dynasties, they did expand into so called barbarian lands. National soverignty being a concept alien to the pre-Republic Chinese.
"Vietnam and Korea were vassal states by proximity and not conquered or colonised states, and when under they Chinese rule, they still ruled themselves with their own kings and live as Vietnamese and Koreans. The Chinese did not rob them of their land and resources. Look at Africa, MiddleEast, India, America, Australia and NZ. "
So, how does one become a vassal state if said state didn't start out becoming one, which Vietnam and Korea were not? Why, force or the threat of force of course. Does the word oxymoron mean anything to you.
Korean and Vietnamese histories regard the times of Chinese domination as a time of foreign occupation. Most kings ruling during Chinese rule were regarded as quislings and deposed when the Chinese left. Otherwise, Wang Jingwei of the Nanjing puppet governent would also be a legit Chinese ruler.
Where do you think the timber for the massive treasure fleets came from? China proper is mostly mountains and flat plains, lacking rainforests. Annanm on the other hand had plenty of timber. Those Vietnamese depending on the forest for their livelihoods get screwed over though.
"During the peak of the Ming Dynasty, the Chinese sailed all the way to Africa in peace and to trade. No country was conquered or colonised."
Because the Confucian Court heavily hated the idea of the Voyages, regarding them as wasteful expenditures that brought no benefit. Since the only way for the sea lanes to remain profitable was to introduce mercantalism and threaten the Confucian hold on power, any conquest would be buried under a bureacratic clusterfuck designed to sabotage it. Zheng He was very aware of the possibility.
"The Han Chinese were the most peaceful people but demonised by the West and impoverished through conquest and almost colonised by the West. When conquered by the Mongols and Manchus, they accepted the foreign rules for centuries until the rulers corrupted and misruled that they rose to take back their country."
The fact that Jiang Nan, anything west of Jiangxi were once the domain of the Yi, Wu and Yue peoples mean that the history of the Han were anything but peaceful since the aforementioned peoples no long exist.
"Unlike the westerns that went everywhere to conquer, rule and impoverished the countries."
When the West left Africa, before the many civil wars and coups broke out most of them had life expantancies and infrastructures better than many independant South American countries. Ceylon had a banking system and economy equal to most countries in Europe and the Philipines had a functioning healthcare system and 90% of it's children had undergone primary and secondary education. Much of the subsequent misrule is due to the appalling leaders who followed and the rampant corruption without the functioning bureacracy.
"You forgot to add that the Japanese helped to fertilise the Koreans and offer them jobs. And the Korean women were so gratified that they volunteered to be sex slaves to the Japanese soldiers.
You forgot to add that western powers carved out China like a melon and demanded that no dogs and Chinese would be allowed in their privileged space."
Huh, weird. Didn't realise that we were discussing Japan's past. Last time I checked, Japan may have westernised first, but they're still very much a Asian power.
And how is that relevant to China's own behaviour, especially towards her immediate neighbours.
远交近攻 seems to be their MO throughout most of their history.
"You forgot that they send 20m African slaves to learn how to be civilised to serve their white masters and get educated. The white masters added on the goodies by making the slave women happy"
I wonder which rag you got the 20 million slaves from. Most Census number the total number of slaves before it was abolished as 12 million from the 16 to 18 centuries. Since China doesn't actually do census of their own slaves captured from Central Asia or during wars against the Aboriginals in Yunnan and Xinjiang though, we can't do a comparison.
"You forgot that the Red Indians were killing themselves. So the white colonialists rounded them up and kept them under their protection to ensure that they don't become extinct. And the Red Indians were so grateful that they gave their continent to the White colonialists."
The Native Americans didn't have immunity from livestock diseases like smallpox, so sucks to be them. On the other hand, medival Europe suffered one if four Europeans dead when the Black Death was brought via ships from the Middle East and the Mongols, but they didn't end up loosing their continent. Natural selection.
Kinda like how the Han wiped out the Yue, Min and Yi peoples over a few hundred years through wars and assmiliation.
e.
"I could go on to compare how good the while colonial masters were as compare to the wicked Han Chinese that only imposed some vassal state system against their neighbours, to civilise them and share the culture, knowledge etc."
If by impose some you mean three decades long occupations then yes, it's some. At least Britain got the hint when the colonist ejected them from the North American colonies.
Fun fact, Japan's own Taika reforms that introuduced Chinese culture, politics and religion to Japan was an entirely peaceful exchange. Japan was a vassal state for less than 2 decades in it's milenia long history. Wonder if China was doing it wrong with the whole conquer and make vassal business.
"I tried very hard to search the history for Japanese or Korean or Vietnamese that were slaves to the Chinese. There were also no evidence that the minority tribes were slaves were terminated by the Chinese like the Red Indians."
Since the only war that China fought against Japan prior to the modern age was really a Korean-Japanese war, the Chinese are hardly in a position to invade or enslave systematically the Japanese.
Tang Law held that free people could not be enslaved, slaves who were sold had to be previously held as slaves in order to be legally sold. A large amount of slave trading took place on Silk Road markets during this time, several examples show Sogdian slave girls being sold by Sogdian merchants to Chinese.[11]
Chinese law segregated slaves and freemen into different classes, slaves were classified as criminals. Only criminals and foreigners were allowed to be enslaved in China. Miscegenation between foreign slaves and Chinese women was banned.[12]
Military expeditions in Korea, Mongolia, Central Asia, and India by Tang armies captured foreigners as slaves.[13] After executing the men, Tang dynasty armies enslaved captive women and livestock to either go to the imperial court or allied tribes.[14]
Persians were kidnapped by pirates and kept in captivity on Wan-an, Hainan island, before being sold. Samanids in Transoxania sold Turks to the Chinese.[15]
Free Chinese could not be legally sold as a slave unless they willingly sold themselves. If they did not sell themselves, the person who sold them would be executed. However, all other peoples were subject to enslavement without their permission. Southern aboriginals constituted the largest number of slaves. Other peoples sold as slaves to Chinese included Turks, Persians, and Korean women, who were sought after by the wealthy.[16] China suffered from shortages of women for marriage, which led to Korean women being sold in Chinese slave markets to compensate for this.[17] The Chinese demand for young Korean slave girls as concubines created a lucrative market for pirates on the seas surrounding Korea, where they were sold in Shandong, China. The Chinese Governor of Shandong banned the trade in 692.[18][19]
A massive market in the trade of southern aboriginal slave girls also existed, Chinese officials attempted to ban it and denounced it, to no effect, as it continued.[20] Indian, Malay, and Black African slaves were also sold to the Chinese. Their skin was noted to be dark, their hair wavy or curly.[21]
Tang law considered slaves to be chattel without the same rights as people. Free women could not marry male slaves.[22]
Upon his defeat of the Yuan dynasty, the Hongwu Emperor officially killed all slaves within China, although the practice continued.[1]
The Javans sent 30000 black slaves as tribute to the Ming Dynasty in 1381.[23]
When the Ming dynasty crushed the Miao Rebellions (Ming Dynasty) in 1460, they castrated 1,565 Miao boys, which resulted in the deaths of 329 of them, they were then turned into eunuch slaves.[24][25][26] This event occurred during the rule of the Zhengtong Emperor (Yingcong or Ying Tsung). Since 329 of the boys died, even more were needed to be castrated.[27]
The 1630s saw numerous slave revolts, prompting laws limiting the number of slaves per household.[1]
So where are the Wu, Yi, Yue and Min peoples? Conquered and assmiliated? What's that term again?
Oh yes, genocide
Lithium-ion has recently been used as the positive component of batteries as it is light weight and weight for weight, it stores the most energy. Moving interstate is a big process. All lead acid batteries provide either starting or deep cycle power and the only difference is in the amount and duration of power delivered. These batteries involve acid or drinking water addition on typical intervals. * Includes on/off switch for safety, built-in work/emergency light, charging level/battery indicator gauge, AC/DC power cord for charging in vehicle
Wow, this post is pleasant, my younger sister is analyzing these
