It was April Fool!

I know the GE is around the corner and everyone is getting quite uptight. But when a good April Fool joke is started, can’t the people just take it as it is, and have a little laughter? Pei Ling traumatised and was counselled by Dr Fatimah. Nice one. Who says PAP politicians are all deadpan and can’t joke? And Chok Tong is good at surprising people with his jokes, and on April Fool Day is quite an appropriate timing to put people at ease. Unfortunately no one is in the mood for jokes. No one remembers April Fool anymore. Must be the inflation or the housing prices, or the foreign worker bugging them. Chok Tong getting his dementia, or should he use his dementia joke as an excuse to get out of this since people are not appreciative of him? This is likely to be the last joke before things get serious and all the knives are out as the GE approaches. Enjoy it while it lasts.

The Char-Tau had caused the political demise of Seet Ai Mei. It seems that Char-Tau is indeed, char-tau, lacks humour, or the art of it.

I would like to see him go down in history as a redundant minister ousted by his support for a cry baby newbies candidate.

Don't underestimate anyone, especially Chok Tong.

SM Minister Goh is not joking,

Char Tau's humour always seem to backfire. He has the habit of scoring own goals against the one he purports to support.

First was Dr Seet Ai Mee, who confessed that she lost her seat in 1991 because of Char Tau digging up old skeletons.

Last election, Char Tau proclaimed that the chikus in Hougang were ripe for picking by the PAP while the papayas in Potong Pasir were ready for the PAP to collect. Voters in those two constituencies choose to differ and Eric Low and Sitoh suffered heavier defeats that time, while Low Thia Khiang picked all the chikus and Chiam See Tong collected all the papayas.

This time, I hope he scores an own goal against himself. It is time for him to STFU.

Char Tau may be the 'fall guy' this time, by design. If he just step down, doesn't look decent, following the footsteps of his predecessor, and creating an iron-clad precedent for his successor. So, what is the best way to get rid of him?

The old chap may not last that many more years now and Char Tau looks to be his 'not first choice' successor. But the old chap probably has other ideas.

Last election they sent him to Hougang and Potong Pasir where he made a fool of himself by promising things which he could not deliver, an obvious sign of his impotence inside the PAP political hierarchy. But he did not step down after his failure to win back the two constituencies, a trait we can only find among the Japanese.

So, is this election his Waterloo?

You people don't be like dat. And Matilah, how can you say those unkind things about our SM?

Whatever, he is still around after so many eventful years, which means he is able to keep his seat. Whatever misgivings, would MM take him along when he steps down? This is a big possibility and the biggest battle for Chok Tong to deal with.

My disdain and distaste for SM Goh is several orders of magnitude greater than my feelings for Lee Kuan Yew.

I can find a few traits I actually do admire and respect in Lee Kuan Yew -- not to say that the man is a saint of course, he is still a despotic cunt. But at lest he is honest in expressing himself -- and leaves no room for doubt about his convictions.

However SM Goh is to me as 'real' as a PhD in Physics awarded to Paris Hilton. Fucking fake -- big, outrageous fake.

I cannot find one redeeming feature in the man -- least of all his role of central banker as boss of MAS.

Evil prick. (and I don't even believe in 'evil')

...and that old lady of his...sheesh...don;t get me started...

Once, presumably, the most hated man in cyberspace goes up the lorry, Char Tau will probably take his place, judging from all the unflattering comments here.

Appears like rating who is the most hated man in the History Sin.
And
its seems to me that neither the Number One nor the Number Two will be pleased with winning or losing, maybe the Loser could be a little comforted that he is not the Worst.
