In the assembly of gods, God said, 'Ye are gods.'
A new god will be chosen by the existing gods, in their own image.
If we look at this as a leadership renewal, is it heartening to know that our new leader will be chosen, like companies head hunting for a new CEO? I remember Shakespear's famous phrase in the Twelveth Night, 'Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.'
Now I shall add, 'Some are chosen to be great.'

I don't really give a damn to whatever the current admin is planning to do. I have already made up my mind to do as what our more politically matured neighbours have done. I will just vote for the opposition and see what will be the outcome. The doom sayers can say whatever they think fit. There is absolutely no future for the generations to come if we cannot have freedom of choice whilst we live here. Life is not all about the pursuit of money.
Exactly, who gives a dog's turd about what ideas of social and political engineering the present bunch of state apparatchiks are planning. Fuck them.
Singapore will only be, forever, a "hotel" for me. And more S'poreans are thinking this way these days. I hope that well and truly fucks up the administration plans, and may they make many costly errors in their judgment!
Allah Akhbar! Yahoo Yaweh! Jumping Jehovah!
They can be your god if you want, but certainly not mine.
