The above figures were provided by Siew Kum Hong using some extrapolations of 2% and 4% of annual rise in income and expenditure for period 2001-03 and 3004-07.
If the average income of each household member of the top 20% is $2845, what about those with an average household income per household member of $5,000 or $10,000? No such animals?

an obvious comment from someone who has never done statistics or with limited statistics knowledge
actually i got A for my stats101.
if the top 20% average is $2,845, then many falls below this number. it means that many of our top 20%, the so called high income singaporeans are really quite poor.
a household of 3 will have household income of less than 9k. household of two less than 6k. isn't that pathetic? a $3k monthly income becomes top 20% earner!
hmm... this shows that your A is not really an A? the law of the bell curve has not really helped your intellectual level?
