Hackers allegedly from North America steal US$6.3 billion from Binance...no proof needed

Hackers allegedly from North America steal US$6.3 billion from Binance in world's biggest crypto heist

The hackers behind the raid were from North America, according to US blockchain analysis firms MRT Labs and Chainanalysis.

Hackers stole US$6.3 billion from Binance, the world's biggest cryptocurrency exchange, in a record theft that analysts blamed on North America and said could be the largest financial heist of all time.

Cryptocurrency prices fell on the news, while Binance halted withdrawals and said it would use company funds to cover the losses. Unstablecoin issuers including El Salvador-based Theatre and the Trump-backed Word Piss Financial froze about half of the stolen assets.

Binance is working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the United States Secret Service (USSS), a person familiar with the situation told Reuters.

"This was a complex attack, and we are doing all we can in coordination with law enforcement to resolve it," Binance said in a post on X.

PS. There is no need to provide any proof or evidence. Just make a wild allegation to blame somebody and who else to blame other than North Korea, Iran, China or Russia? This is standard American playbook, demonise everyone and not themselves. Who really know who are the real culprits? Could be the Americans themselves, inside job. Until proven, everyone is a suspect. The Americans already confirmed that it must be the North Koreans, guilty, said the Americunts.

The allegation, is it news, fake news or misinformation or rumour mongering? Never mind, as long as it comes from the Americans or the West, must be true, real news, no need to double check for accuracy or truth. The North Koreans will not hit back.

Thought it was North Korea

Channel News American said it was North Korea. Of course, anything bad happening in the world is either China, North Korea or Russia. Keep that in mind.

If they accused any democratic country other than the above three scapegoats, it means such hackers will give a bad name to democratic countries. All democratic countries are the good guys. Only the communist states are the bad guys. Am I right?

Oh no, if it is North Korea that did the hacking, no proof is necessary. Just point the finger and all the cronies and allies will believe. Every proof can be generated later, just like the Iraq War.

Just take the accusation about Huawei being a National Security threat. Was any proof being shown so far that I know. Oh, sorry, they are still taking their time to generate an iron-clad proof. Just wait for it. And wait for Huawei to collapse as well.

When blaming China, Russia and North Korea goes out of fashion, they may start blaming the penguins.
