Scott Bessent ordered USA bond holders not to sell. He also demanded that China dumps Iran. What world is he living in? Bessent still thinks the USA owns the whole world and can order and demand as he likes. Time for bondholders and China to show him their middle finger.

Scott Bessent can order the UK, and also you know who, but his words mean nothing to China. After what happened to Russian assets, many countries are already jittery about who is next. Even Japan, in economic ICU, wants to sell its USA bonds but is being held back by threats from the USA.

Scott Bessent can shout until hoarse, but China will never dump Iran. Iran is a member of BRICS, is one of China's oil suppliers, is now a staunch ally of China geopolitically, is a real-life testing partner for Chinese weapons, and is providing much by way of lessons to China for countering the USA. Why would China want to dump Iran and give the USA and the West the opportunity to criticize BRICS as a flimsy alliance that is breaking up. BRICS does not even see it fit to get rid of India, the USA trojan horse inside BRICS.

Russia and China just tolerated India's presence in BRICS, knowing its loyalty is towards the USA, while the USA is wary of being too harsh on India that might turn the tables for all the years of cultivating India as a counter to China.

Today's Romance of the Three Kingdoms main rogue state is the USA

China had in its history the story of 'The Romance of the Three Kingdoms'. It is not just a story, but is history blended with fiction at times, but not totally nonexistent.

Elsewhere, any modern-day war is no less than a three-country affair, with the USA the common denominator. The Korean War between North and South had in its center the USA providing the instigating factor. That war is still in perpetuity, providing the USA with the excuse to station troops in South Korea.

The war in Gaza is also a three-country affair between Israel and Palestine with the USA fighting for its own interest to land the seafront real estate in Gaza to be shared with Israel. Trump's Jewish son-in-law is the one looking greedily at the potential development in Palestine. The former residents of Palestine are never going to figure in the development of Gaza. They had been expelled for good.

The war against Iran is in actuality a conflict between Iran and Israel, but the USA is doing the honors for Israel by being directly involved. It is also a three-country conflict that can never be resolved with Israel holding Trump by his balls to do Netanyahu's calling.

The above are all modern day three-country 'romances', with the USA deeply involved in all.

Xi Jinping visiting India, the Indians rubbing their hands in glee...ATMs coming

 The Indian playbook to snare and skin foreign investors is very simple and straightforward, no need much grey matter to see through their ploy. But when there are willing suckers volunteering to be cheated, it makes the Indian ploy so QED. The Chinese, Chinaman or overseas Chinese, are no different. All thinks India is the long term future to make a pile. Even being repeatedly cheated, they will continue to crawl to India to give more money to the Indians to play with, always thinking in the long run will surely make profit.

Xi is now leading a big team in his coming visit to India. To the Indians, the Chinese companies are bloated ATMs, all overflowing with money to be milked. Many silly countries have their big companies and corporations being snared and trapped and quietly keep paying and paying, afraid to complain for fear of spilling the beans. Many Chinese companies have been robbed in broad daylight in India by the hundreds of millions and billions. Would Xi go to India and repeat the same fiasco that affected Chinese companies in the past?

India is putting up all its charm to attract Chinese money and investments. The traps are all set for the greedy Chinese to fall in. Did Xi and the Chinese companies learn anything from their past? There is nothing wrong with doing business with India as long as money is held outside India, no pouring in of hard cash on land and assets that would be controlled by the Indians. Never, never take up any share ownership of any Indian companies no matter how attractive the terms may look like now. The Indians can change them anytime they want like changing underwear. Oops, what underwear?

Xi and Chinese companies should stick to the cash on delivery model when doing business with India. No investment in plants, factories or assets. This is a big NO, NO.  Just sell whatever the Indians want to buy, even at friendship prices, but COD. Extending credit is like doing charity to the Indians, or being suckers.

Let Xi and Modi have a good meeting and improve relations and trade between the two countries...BUT no dumping of hard cash into India, for goodness sake. This is especially so for the big Chinese companies and national funds. To the Indians, these are cash cows to be milked or skin alive, down to skin and bones given the chance. Many silly big companies and investment funds have lost their pants in India but too ashamed to admit so. China still has a chance not to fall into the same Indian trap.

American withdrawal from the Indian Ocean, abandoning India

...US Indo-Pacific Command, the oldest and largest of America’s combatant commands, has reverted to its former title of the US Pacific Command.

This invites questions about whether Washington’s strategic view of the Indo-Pacific region has changed. How should the world interpret the dropping of “Indo” from “Indo-Pacific”?  CNA

When the Americans changed the US Pacific Command to Indo Pacific Command, the tail of India curled straight up, believing that the Americans had finally acknowledged the importance of India as a notable power or partner of the American Empire. Everyday the Indians were gloating about their importance to the American and their role in the Indian Ocean to contain China and Russia. It appeared that the Americans wanted the Indians to play a key role in their dominance over countries around the two oceans. QUAD made the Indians feel really important, like they have arrived as a super power to stand beside the Americans. Whether the Americans were serious about the role of India became irrelevant after Operation Sindoor when India was whipped by lowly rated Pakistan. The Americans saw through the hollowness of Indian self praised as a counter weight against China. Unable to deal with Pakistan, India will be totally useless against China.

Is this the main reason why the Americans dropped the name Indo Pacific and reverted to Pacific Command? One thing is clear, Indonesia, a Muslim state, was never a player in the American grand plan. Indonesia is good for use and throw away when its usefulness is no more there. What then will be the likely reason for the change of name again?

The Trump regime's keynote policy statement is about the Monroe Doctrine. Trump is consolidating his attention to the Americas as their last bastion. Look at all the actions of Trump, increasing aggressiveness in Latin America as well as in North America. The Americans are on a campaign to bash all the Latin American states to hammer them into obeyance. Venezuela is the first victim and many will follow suit, including the Caribbean Islands.

In North America, Greenland is to be grabbed to make the picture complete, the American Empire covering North and South America in accordance with the Monroe Doctrine. Canada is a given as far as Trump is concerned, too weak to resist when Trump raises his pressure on the Canadians. Trump has in all counts abandon Europe. His hostile takeover of Greenland is as good as slapping the Europeans right in their faces. And what can the European or Canada do about it? Absolutely nothing except crying out loud.

In the Pacific Ocean, the first and second island chains are as good as gone. The Americans know that they cannot defend them. China, Russia and North Korea can effectively take full control of the western Pacific Ocean. The only place consider a bit safer is Hawaii. Guam is just a sacrificial lamb.

The Pacific Command is just that, consolidating American position in the eastern Pacific Ocean. There is no ability for the Americans to control the Indian Ocean. Diego Garcia is in the same pathetic situation as Guam, indefensible. The Americans know that.

The war in the Middle East is a test case to see if the Americans can still hang on in the region. The Americans under the previous regime were confident to take over Europe and Eurasia. But Ukraine is an outright failure,...and Iran is proving the same point. American powerful projection into Asia, Europe and Africa is weak and unsustainable. The realistic position is to hold on to the Americas when no other super power is in a position challenge the Americans militarily. Poor Latin Americans and North American states will soon fold into the shrunk American Empire.

The Americans may not want to say or admit it, they have lost control over the whole of western Pacific Ocean. The Americans are not leaving but digging in? Digging into where? No American base in the western Pacific Ocean is safe, as proven in the Iran War. The American aircraft carriers are too expensive to be sacrificed in the western Pacific Ocean. All the hooha about freedom of navigation is a hoax. Every American warships in the western Pacific Ocean will be sunk in the western Pacific when hostility is declared.

All the silly talks and bragging about Americans not leaving but digging in are meant for the ears of silly Mickey Mouse states that would be used, like Ukraine, to be turned into a war zone and to be obliterated. The Americans have no means to defend them. Period.

Trump just dreamt about taking over Greenland by 2029. He is not yet certain of 2028 and is fast forwarding his dreams to 2029. Moreover, is he even certain of surviving beyond his present term?

Trump's rating is now in the sewers, so talking about 2028 is not even certain that he will be re-elected. Whatever Trump touches today is failure at every turn.

The war against Iran is not working out well. Militarily, the USA has lost the military war but cannot accept and live with the reality. Now the USA is turning to the same modus operandi as against Russia, attempting to sanction Iran to the hilt. It is already a failed attempt with China not going to follow those sanctions.

His toxic name on the Kennedy center is causing artists to boycott performing there, but Trump is reported to be suing them, with no grounds whatsoever. Imagine suing artists refusing to perform at the Kennedy center for free because of the bad karma associated with his name.

That ballroom fiasco at the former Rose Garden is also problematic. The same with the Reflecting Pool turning green with algae which he claimed had been sabotaged.

When Trump goes to sleep tonight, he will wake up tomorrow with more horrific dreams. Be prepared.
