Let us not hope for the rednecks, hillbillies and blondes to wake up. Those are already living dead and are as dumb as doorposts, otherwise how could a six-time bankrupt, pedophile and prolific liar be elected President. But ironically, the blame is on the system, as both Parties, Democrats and Republicans all operate from the same playbook. It is realistically just choosing the right hand or the left hand of the Deep State, with citizens none the wiser being rendered practically dull of mind to understand.
That is how politics evolved in every country, first the brainwashing, followed by more of the same until citizen's do not know right from wrong. That is the best-case scenario for politicians to exploit.

After more than 25 years of China collapsing under the banner of Gordon Chang, that mantra seems to have now been taken up by some others with axes to grind against China. But reality will always demolish fiction when the time comes. China need not have to say a word to counter. Those foreigners travelling to China, working in China and living in China will take up the cudgel on China's behalf.
I guess they assume that just repeating the collapsing mantra will make the horseshit come true, like it always had been. The property collapse had been the most oft-quoted example of China on the verge of an economic catastrophe. While China has moved away from the property collapse conundrum, those foreigners that lost big money because the Chinese Government did not bail out the too big to fail property conglomerates, which they expected to happen like in the USA, that has made them bitter with rage.
Now at the G20, they are attacking China's trade surplus. Are ordinary people around the world not happy with cheap Chinese EVs, electronic equipment, other consumer products, solar panels, wind turbines, quayside cranes and are complaining? By right they should stop buying from China to fuel China's trade surplus, right? The USA Government even has to take measures to prevent them from buying, which is illogical. Talk about having all the freedom they had by having the ability to vote.
The people really complaining are the rich fat cats whose businesses are facing severe competition by China and lobbying their government to bring up their problem. Trade surplus is result of consumers in countries buying more from China because they needed those things. Trade surplus does not affect consumers' economic well-being. It affects the fat cats, billionaires and corrupt politicians held hostage by big campaign donations and having big investments in such entities facing competition. Trump undoubtedly has big investments in fossil fuel and is dead set against renewables and climate change, which he claimed is a hoax.
The West will always try to fabricate issues to suit their agenda. After so many years of castigating Huawei for being a National Security Risk, what evidence have they produced? The Europeans are so paranoid just because the USA told them to follow and take up the issue. They do not want to talk about the USA caught red-handed spying on their leaders and chose to believe fabricated propaganda trotted out by the propaganda machine of the USA.
