Modi has nowhere to turn to, so the dog houses are the only place he could get some help. Russia already knew it cannot trust India, having even refused to sell any oil to India at a discount anymore and getting paid in rupees, sliding in value by the day. Russia is already caught in a rupee black hole from past dealings with India and does not know what to do with all the rupees it now holds. Russia had been played by India trying to play both sides on the pretext of being neutral. Nothing is ever neutral with the Indian mindset. India wants the cake and eats it too and thinks Russia is foolish enough to keep falling into the trap.
China is the only country capable of investing in India, but India killed the goose that could have laid the golden eggs by trying to punish Chinese companies investing in India obviously trying to please the USA. China is now treating investments in India like the plague to be avoided at all costs.

India's future is in BRICS, not in QUAD. Modi better wake up, as the country is facing huge problems with Indian workers laid off in Western countries and in the Gulf States now returning home to complicate the already stressed job market. AI is even killing off the outsourced jobs by the West inside India itself, adding to the conundrum of the unemployment situation.
India invested too readily falling for the Western hype by giving India false hope of leveraging on the job outsourcing by the West and is now going to pay a heavy price. Had India, like China, concentrated on manufacturing instead of services and agriculture, the situation may not be that dire. What is even more damaging for India is being portrayed as the trojan horse of the USA in BRICS, trying to please the USA, which is not going to put India's position favorably among the other BRICS members, even if it wants to repent.
So, Modi has to go around begging doggies of the USA to lend a helping hand to India. The Europeans have bigger problems with their own economy, orchestrated by the USA. and having seen the experience of countries being punished by India, are in no mood to listen and to invest big in India. Diplomatically, those doggie Governments may lend a listening ear, but walking the talk still lies with those risking the loss of their pants that matters. These risk takers are better in their judgement than those of the ruling elites, where winning votes is more important. Business leaders are not going to just fall for false potentials.
India wants to be a member of the G7 but only gets invited and allowed to sit in a corner during G7 meetings but never allowed to join and be inside the group. The cartel is run by the Whites and Modi needs to go for a bleaching like Michael Jackson to even think of being accepted. Groveling around is not going to help, particularly when Trump already set the tone by calling India a shithole. Now, the G7 is not going to allow a shithole inside its deemed prestigious grouping.
So, they will continue to invite Modi to their meetings, keeping him on a leash to be used against and to bark at China. It is working well for them after all, not allowing India to be loyal to BRICS by dangling a bone for a dog. But it is all just basically sound coming out from inside an echo chamber at most. The West trained the dog well to bark when needed, but the caravan just move on, ignoring and knowing the dog has no bite but just barking when being told. What is India doing in QUAD is just to add more noise to scare China, nothing more. China is not afraid of India in QUAD and treated QUAD as just a quack grouping of no significance.
Wants to export Indians to Europe or pleading with the Europeans not to send them back to India?
