Iran's defense minister Aziz Nasir Zadeh is now in China looking at Chinese weapons to beef up Iran's military

Iran's defense minister Aziz Nasir Zadeh is now in China attending the Shanghai Co-operation Organization (SCO) and is probably also looking at Chinese weapons to beef up Iran's military. China can supply Iran with fighter jets like the J10C, missiles like the PL15 and other weapons for air defense plus all the rare earth elements needed by Iran to make its own weapons like drones. In fact, China can supply these weapons at a moment's notice, no need to wait for months or years by Iran.

Iran must look at the truce as a ploy by the USA to help Israel regroup and rearm for another clash. This is inevitable, taking into consideration Trump's behavior at the moment. A truce is a strategy often used by the West to regroup and rearm when they are losing. That truce was to help Israel more than helping Iran to survive. They tried that in Ukraine, calling for a truce with Russia. Putin is too smart for that. John Mearsheimer calls Putin and Xi master strategists.

Iran was on the upper hand during the 12-day war, with Chinese help in hypersonic missile technology, satellite navigation intelligence giving Iran the capability to target important Israeli infrastructures with pinpoint accuracy. With no truce called, Tel Aviv would have been destroyed just like Gaza.

Iran's strategy right now must be to buy those Chinese weapons immediately and not using the time to wait for another pre-emptive attack by Israel. It is going to come sooner than later.

Having said that, this will be a good time for China's military to battle tests its weapons to prove that what the Pakistani military did with Chinese weapons was no fluke.

I believe the purchase of the J10C by Iran is already confirmed together with other weapons.

What countries the USA and the West refused to sell weapons to, China is going into that lucrative market for sure. Egypt, Indonesia and Bangladesh are potential buyers of the J10C. And it is going to eat deeply into the bottom lines of USA and EU manufacturers of military aircrafts and weapons.

While China's Comac C919 civilian aircrafts are still using foreign made engines, though not for long, Chinese fighter jets like the J10C are being retrofitted with China's domestically developed engines. This is a very important strategy, knowing that using foreign developed engines comes with high risk and uncertainty should countries try to cut off exports just like high end chips. China must always continue to think far ahead of the competition and adopt the motto 'Be Prepared' before the shit hits the fan.

After having confirmed that Chinese jets and weapons are no junks by Pakistan, I think many other countries are seriously looking at buying Chinese weapons. Cheaper, better and I believe not with iron chains attached, like some countries buying the F35s and forced to keep them in USA. There is a serious problem with the radar evasion coating of the F35s that needed recoating frequently after a couple of flights, if I am not mistaken. Paying through their noses to buy the F35s to protect the USA is more likely.

This is an excellent opportunity for China to field test their other more advanced weapons like the J20.
China should sell yhe J10s to Iran with a special deal: 50% discount on J20 provided they field test it against Israel.

Forgot to add old Chinese proverb:
Borrow sword to kill someone.

Never also forget the Huang Zhong saying: The treasured sword does not age. A five-thousand-year-old sword is still as lethal in battle.

It is strategically important to reserve the best and still keep it secret. Just keep the enemy guessing. Of course, the latest and best have to be kept for the PLA. The J10C is already a decade old plane, just tested by Pakistan. It was not a disappointment for China performance wise..

Iran confirmed buying 40 J10C. These will be the snipers in the sky waiting for the Israeli and American warplanes attacking Iran while hiding in Iraqi, Syrian and Saudi skies.
