The storm in the tea cup stirred up by an article in Lianhe Zaobao over a small budget film on the basic needs of poor Chinese immigrants has come and gone, making some people looking very silly over nothing. Such naive approach to attack a film and China is a sign of desperation, that anything will do as a handle to be used against China, to smear China for a supposedly strategic objective. In the simplest form, China is winning the hearts and minds of overseas Chinese by simply doing the right thing, be successful economically, in science and technology, be rich and militarily strong. The rest will take care of itself.
On the other hand, the CIA, MI6, Mossad, all seems to be very successful, in a way doing the work of united front groups. The Americans and Mossad could assassinate a leader here and there, kidnapped a president, incite and stir violent street demonstration, even starting wars, and claimed victory, success, winning and winning, and patting themselves on the back. But these are nothing more than winning a battle but losing a war. Every clownish victory or success claimed by the CIA and Mossad is actually a strategic failure to America and Israel. World opinions have turned against the American and Israeli terrorists for their outlaw and savage behaviours. The unending wars, massacres, genocides, trade wars, sanctions, bans, were all low down tactics in violation of international laws and human decency.
The world is not blind. All the silly propaganda and attacks at China and friends, labelling China as aggressive, violation of human rights, victimising minorities, were basely and hold no water. China has not been at war with any country, did not attack or invade any country, did not commit massacres and genocides, assassinate political leaders and kidnapping them in their home countries. China is just doing what any peaceful and civilised country is doing, trade, economic development, infrastructure building etc etc anything but wars, destruction and killings. China does not threaten to wipe out any country or civilisation from the face of the earth like the uncivilised rogues in Washington.
The silly and stupid propaganda and vicious narratives against China only works for the dull, dense and brain dead unthinking American cronies. America's European allies have abandoned the evil American regime. Only a few third world and Asean leaders are still licking the ass of the Americans and lunatic Trump.
China is winning the hearts and minds of the overseas Chinese by its words and actions. China is also winning the hearts and minds of the Third World countries. No bullying, no threats, no sanctions or bans. Only stupid countries cannot see the evilness of the American terrorists and still calling China a threat, but want to earn China's money, manufacture in China, sell to Chinese markets, and buying cheap and good Chinese goods and services.
Stupidity has no cure, especially among the brain dead Anglophiles and American cronies. United Front work is low level tactics and warfare during a time when desperate measures are needed, even if dangerous, ineffective and unproductive. China only needs to continue what it is doing, to be the most modern and advanced nation state, in science and technology, with a strong military to ward off the terrorists and Mickey Mouse. And China is doing much more, provide an alternative system for the Global South countries, free or cheaper, just as good, with no political strings attached, no bullying, no coercion, a real free world instead of the fake and fictitious free world of the American terrorists.
China's strategy is simply to be rich and successful, and ignore the silly, the monkeys and Mickey Mouse.

China wants the Global South poor countries to progress and its citizens to enjoy a better livelihood, so that it can have a bigger market for its products. USA and the West does not want poor countries to be rich, and its agenda is just procuring expensive products to be sold to the world to enrich its already super rich. What has all the centuries of colonization in Africa brought to the Africans? It was all about robbing resources, making deals with dictators to plunder the countries. Infrastructure development was not a priority or absent, unless it was to provide transportation system for their loot, like roads and rails.
Having said that, the USA and the West are not themselves making those expensive products. China makes most of those expensive products for them, which the USA and the West just slap a label on top and increase the price several fold to make exorbitant profits, all again to enrich the already rich.
The West's agenda was all along to make sure China does not rise to compete with them but just continue playing peasants making cheap things for them to mark up and make all the profits, so they can continue to screw the rest of the world with expensive products and making and cornering all the wealth of the world. That is ending now, and the USA and the West cannot tolerate China competing with them, making all kinds of issues about trade deficits.
China also has a problem with a united front, with all the bananas singing the USA anthem. Seems, most have been brainwashed so thoroughly, they forgot they are Chinese and their roots are from China. Sad but true.
This is why China is making $1,000 EVs instead of making $50,000 Tesla. China's market is the world, especially the Global South where the disposable income is relatively small. China goes for volumes, sell one hundred cars to make the same amount as the west selling one car.
If the West headed by the European or Anglo-Saxon Americans bad mouthed China and the Chinese people we know and expect it somehow. If American running dogs like Japan and the Philippines tell lies, half-truths and untruths to disparage China and the Chinee people we also know and expect it somehow because we also know the CIA is behind it with its 1.5 Billion Dollars paying and supporting the propagandas and falsehoods to disparage and undermine China and to cause China to break down and be destroyed.
What is worst and cannot be tolerated is the direct frontal attack against China by Lawrence Wong, the so-called prime minister of Singapore.
In an international forum Mr Lee Hsien Loong, the former Prime Minister of Singapore was accusing the United States of bullying and attacking a small state Venezuela when he next chastised and reprimanded Lawrence Wong for turning Singapore into a US vassal state. He accused Lawrence Wong of provoking China unnecessarily on three occasions. On one occasion Lawrence Wong against all historical facts claim that Japan "is the most trusted big power in South East Asia" thus taking a vibe against China. Then he stupidly and audaciously told China to get over Japan's brutal aggression and wanton atrocities and genocide of millions of Chinese in the 14 years of Japanese war on China from 1931 to 1945. He shows no self-respect and dignity at all. How can he be a leader of Singapore?Did PAP leaders make a big mistake of making him as the prime minister of Singapore. Next he had the audacity to tell China not to upset the status quo in Taiwan and to ensure the freedom of navigation in the Taiwan Strait. He is ill-mannered and illicit in behaviour in uncalled remarks on Taiwan which is China's core interest as its sovereign territory and thus brooks no foreign interference. As a soulless insignificant Mickey Mouse he should keep his mouth shut and not try to act big and tough and thus consequentially bring trouble for Singaporeans. No matter how he tries and acts he can never measure up to the status of Singapore's founding father and other founding leaders like Lee Kuan Yew, Dr. Goh Keng Swee, Dr. Toh Chin Chye, Lim Kim San, Rajaratnam and E.W. Barker.
Singaporeans shouild get rid of him as soon as possible less he brings disasters, chaos and sufferings to we Singaporeans. Replace him either with Ong Ye Keong, Gan Kim Yong, Shangmugam or minister Tong.
