China winning the economic war. The West still trying to start a military war

The military supplies sector is one area that China also has a massive advantage to move into, not that China is not already doing so. China has all the rare earth elements and processing logistics, all the iron, steel, aluminum and other essential metals like titanium all at much cheaper prices than the USA (that is raising tariffs on them to thwart its own military industrial complex and manufacturing sectors), all the supply chains to cater to a particular sector, a ready supply of skilled engineers and scientists that China had been training over the past decades. All these are long-term thinking by the Chinese leaders.

Western leaders are short-term thinkers, wanting quick short-term returns, ignoring the long-term consequences. They have been nakedly exposed for their warped thinking. Greed has led them to forget about needing to go for the raw materials, rare earth resources and refining logistics, new growth sectors and blaming others for their missing the bus when they are late for the party. A perfect example is their pre-occupation with logging on to protect its internal combustion engines (ICE) car manufacturers when others are already in the thick of the EV revolution and zooming ahead. The blame should fall on the fossil fuel lobby in the USA, of which Trump is a big supporter. That is one evil with businesses using campaign donations to pursue an agenda.

Even Tesla, the pioneer of EVs, despite its head start, is facing severe headwinds from Chinese EV makers, not to talk about those USA and EU late comers hitching a ride on the EV revolution. I think the USA and EU have comprehensively lost the EV battle and the market, and the only way out for them is erecting barriers or banning Chinese EVs entering their market, which is a fruitless battle. When they cannot compete at home against Chinese EVs and resorting such tactics, how are they going to compete outside the USA and EU? Just making highly expensive EVs for a limited market is suicidal.

By the way, here in Singapore, according to one onlooker, it was reported that BYD sold more than six thousand EVs in 2024, ahead of all others. It already sold more than three thousand EVs or 20% of total EV sales in Singapore just four months into 2025. And BYD is a very late comer to the Singapore EV market, entering only in 2023, which makes it even more worrying for other EV makers. No, I am not paid by BYD or CCP to promote its sales.

George Yeo's China is preparing for a War with the UASSA.

Tariffs and Economy Wars Failed so inevitably the Americunts shall clutches at straws to start a Miltary War with China.

Hoping for a clean slate to write off all their debts and be still World's Nampar One.

China already said it is ready for any war with the USA. Question is, is the USA really prepared for it? What about securing all the rare earth elements needed to make lots of weapons? They do not come by from thin air, just like printing toilet papers. The USA theoretically already lost the advantage trying to start a war with China. What if it is going to be a prolonged war like in Vietnam and Afghanistan? Does the USA still have the stomach to go for that? Aerial power, for all its gloating is not going to win a war itself. And China is far and away a much bigger military power than either Vietnam or Afghanistan.

All that posturing about wanting a truce in Ukraine and Middle East all points to the USA needing to make lots of weapons for any coming war with China and it is desperately in need of rare earth elements. There can never be two ways about it, and no amount of lying can cover up the truth.

As I said earlier, if the USA was able to manufacture enough interceptor missiles for both Ukraine and Israel, why is there a need to shift about 20,000 interceptor missiles from Ukraine to Israel to counter Iran? Why can't the USA produce more of them directly for Israel, knowing that Ukraine also needed them badly? Now that Israel and Iran are in a stalemate and in an uneasy truce, Trump is suddenly talking about making more patriot missiles for Ukraine to counter Russia. Why the sudden about turn, moving missiles out of Ukraine earlier and now wanting to cover up the lie?

Rare earth is not only China's bargaining chip, but also an existential commodity that it has to control tightly. No amount of bargaining over tariffs should this red line ever be crossed. Of course, the USA and its backers can always set up facilities to secure and process rare earth elements into useful magnets themselves, but time is not on their side cost and feasibility is a problem. Five or ten years is a long way to go from securing to making the final product.
