The CCP is instrumental to turning China into a moderately rich country and the biggest armed forces in the world.
Having achieved it domestic goals, having liberated China, the CCP now has a bigger goal, to liberate the countries in the world from western domination, bullying, colonialism and imperialism. The West, comprising mainly the colonial powers and the American hegemon have a lot of fear and misgivings of the CCP. The CCP is the only real contender to challenge their world dominance and to stand up for the oppressed people of the world. To the Americans, the CCP is a curse and have been smearing the CCP as a cancer in China. To the Chinese population, the CCP is their saviour, the CCP made China rich and strong and brought prosperity and a good life to them.
If the CCP is a cancer, it is the cancer to the West and the evil American Empire. The CCP is going to stand up for the countries bullied and oppressed by the American Empire. It is the shining star to the rest of the world, the star they have been waiting for, to fight and defend their rights to be free and independent nations.
Under the CCP, the Chinese people are happy, confident and full of hope for a better future. What the CCP can do for China and the Chinese people, it can also do the same for the people of the world.

They don't know what to do with the debris after more than a week. More than a hundred people are still missing, presumed dead. And they obviously are not searching. They say they are now waiting for the demolition of the rest of the structure. Lots of uncertainties.

The USA is not capable of dealing with crisis. Just look at the COVID19 fiasco. Look at Hurricane Katrina and the still lingering problems after 15 long years. Look at their falling infrastructures, with which administration after administration pledged to look into, but did not do so, because of shortage of funds. And they had all the money to spend on wars, much more than half a trillion and counting and escalating.
Now the US needs almost three to four trillions to correct all the collapsing infrastructure like water system, bridges, roads etc that had been neglected over the decades. Of course they can just print and print, but the buck will stop somewhere, someday.
China meanwhile is happily using all the US$ earned from exports of consumer goods to the USA and investing those dollars in infrastructure developments both at home and abroad. These are productive assets which are able to generate returns, unlike the consumer goods that were eaten, used and discarded.
Financing and Investing all over the world using US$ fiat money, whatever it may be, is a smart move to spend the US$ as widely as possible, since the whole world still needs US$. China is making hay while the sun still shines.
In the end, we have to ask - who is screwing who? Fiat money, never mind, in China's hands it is still useful worldwide for smart investing. That is why the USA is not too happy and nervous with China buying up companies, office buildings, other real estates in the USA with the USA's own fiat money.

Today, with hindsight, you can imagine what China would be like if they have not controlled the spread of the virus from Wuhan on the eve of Chinese New Year. There would be millions of infections and millions of death all over China.
China's economy would be at standstill. The Chinese people would be in panic stricken mode, trying to fight fire, to rid the country of the virus but in vain. Every province and city would be like India at its worse, with people dying everywhere.
Thanks to Xi and the CCP, and some good luck from heaven, China came out of it quickly with a little scar and the economy keeps charging and the Chinese people continue with their good fortune and good life.

Had China broke the bad news early, those people fleeing Wuhan would probably have infected the whole country and most of the world. Immediate lockdown prevented that and countries around started implementing measures to fight the virus, other than the USA.
And what did the USA accused China of for imposing the lockdown? It was a draconian move and against human rights. I think the USA was not really in favour of the immediate lockdown preventing the spread, but more on the lockdown for not allowing people from Wuhan to spread the virus during the Lunar New Year, the best time and place to kickstart their evil plan. It was a script that they were said to be rehearsing much earlier, but perfect as it seems, it backfired because China nip the spread in the bud. And the USA has been vindictive ever since against China for wrecking their well coordinated plan in timing, place and chance to kill off China for good.
