Yes,
Singapore is so blessed that even an employee at the Singapore National
Eye Centre (SNEC) has been blunderingly, carelessly and complacently
injected with FIVE doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine instead
of only one.
SNEC revealed the incident only 3 days ago, when
the serious blunder had taken place on 14 January during a Vaccination
Experiment, using its staff as guinea-pigs "voluntarily".
SNEC
has said that it was due to “human error” resulting from a lapse in
communication among the Vaccination Team at the time. In other words,
either no standard operating procedures were established or they were
not strictly followed.
The use of the word "error" is an
understatement. It obviously looks like a big serious blunder that
should never have happened, and that could have caused long-term serious
injury or even a slow death a few years down the road. Nobody really
knows at this stage.
“The error was discovered within minutes of
the vaccination when the staff was resting in a designated area after
vaccination,” SNEC press release revealed.
“Senior doctors were
alerted immediately and the staff was assessed and found to be well,
with no adverse reaction or side effects.” The poor staff is so lucky
and SNEC is so blessed.
The SNEC added that it has been
following up closely with the staff member, who remains well. For now!
We won't know the long term effects until time has past. Until it's too
late to take any preventive action.
Although the incident took
place earlier in January, news of it only broke out three days ago. Why
took so long to release a press statement to inform the public?
Could it be a case of trying to cover up, initially?
And simply declared it as a "human error" will suffice?
No one takes responsibility for such a serious blunder?
No heads rolled?
No board of inquiry?
See? SNEC is so lucky and so blessed!

Second case of undetected COVID infection from India reported on Saturday.
A 12 year-old female Singapore PR contracted the virus when in India. She flew to Singapore on 26 December 2020 but the infection was undetected until 4 February during a pre-departure swab test before she was due to fly back to India.
Her test result came back positive the next day, and she was conveyed to KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.
This case comes on the heels of that of a 35-year old female Indian long term visit pass holder who flew in to S’pore from India on 4 Jan but was undetected until 2 Feb before she was due to make another trip to India.

According to the latest data, 453 of the 501 reported deaths were in the U.S. 53% of those who died were male, 43% were female, the remaining death reports did not include the gender of the deceased. The average age of those who died was 77, the youngest reported death was of a 23-year-old. The Pfizer vaccine was taken by 59% of those who died while the Moderna vaccine was taken by 41%.
The latest data also included 690 reports of anaphylactic reactions to either Pfizer or Moderna vaccines. Of those, the Pfizer vaccine accounted for 76% of the reactions and the Moderna for 24%.
Other vaccine injury reports updated this week on VAERS include 139 cases of facial asymmetry, or Bell’s palsy type symptoms, and 13 miscarriages.

More blessings for Singapore.
Another talented Indian is taking over another top appointment in Singapore. Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara is taking over Temasek Holding from Ho Ching on 1 Oct when Ho Ching retires.
The next change could be an Indian PM.
My observation.
The Chinese in Singapore are getting dumber while the Indians getting smarter?
Why is this happening?
If this trend continues, the Indians would all become Indian chiefs and the Chinese would become Grab drivers.
When you allow parasites to proliferate, they will kill you.
A big tree grew healthily for years, but when parasites covered the tree trunk, the tree will suffer and maybe die when the parasites suck it's nutrients.
Blame the 61%.
Not to worry. Karma is destroying the home of the parasites. The farmer's protest, the pandemic, the floods, the corpse filled rivers, all basically out of control. Little wonder the parasites are abandoning the sinking ship.
Heads ill roll alright. But it is not the head of the 'Head', but the head of a goat as always
The person vaccinated probably not aware, because the five doses were administered all at once. The whole bottle of five doses emptied into the syringe and injected.
It happened! What to do? Find a scapegoat at the lower end, the highest of the lowest to be logically convincing.
After Big Lan Pee-and-Lay takes over the Foxy Jinx, there is only one more step to go before the Indian Revolution is complete.
The last step is to replace the sickly looking, half-engine functioning, and over-stressed tired-face (by trying to fix the Opposition all the time) Pee-and-Aim.
Once an Indian replace the Pee-and-Aim, Sinkingland will sink into the Dark Ages, controlled from and by East India & Company Private Unlimited.
That is the price for being apolitical by the pathetic lot that originated from China and the brainwashed descendants of the Chinese Civilisation.
Will that fateful day arrive without bloodshed or even a single shot fired? Chances are it looks like it will. 90% probability.

Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara will take over from Ho Ching, who has been serving in leadership roles at the wealth management group Temasek Holdings since 2004, on October 1.
Singaporeans MUST have CECA Indians to help build the economy. Mr. Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara has been chosen to replace Ho Ching. Good choice. It is obvious that no Singaporean Chinese can be found to fill this important position.
NOT SO FAST PLEASE: Don't Sweep SNEC's Blunder Under The Carpet
From TOC:
"In the wake of reports over the weekend that the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) has given a member of staff the equivalent to 5 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine due to human error, it is notable that none of the senior members of Government has addressed this mistake publicly.
In addition, the error was apparently made on 14 Jan which begs the question of why it took so long for the public to be informed?
To make matters, worse, it seems like the wife of our Prime Minister, Madam Ho Ching (Madam Ho) has attempted to defend such mistakes on her Facebook page.
Among other things, Madam Ho has said “When you have mass exercises like vaccination, it is easy to make mistakes. We are human after all.” While mistakes are understandable and sometimes unavoidable, it seems completely tone-deaf to dismiss this error when the various relevant ministers have not even spoken up on the issue.
If the mistake was made on her husband, would she be so sanguine?"
Comments:
1. Blunders dismissed so easily and rapidly by the power in the shadow is tantamount to condoning and encouraging more such acts to happen.
2. It not only speaks of favouritism but also indirectly trying to cover up a blunder with a dismissive attitude.
3. When big blunders are dismissed so easily and quickly, what will happen to the medium and small blunders? Common sense tells that they had probably be swept under the carpet, may be over the last 20 years of shadowy power behind the scenes.
4. Why are the Health Ministrer and COVID-19 Team Co-Chairman keeping so quiet over this huge blunder?
5. Why is the Prime Minister also keeping so quiet about this blunder, and allowed his wife to overshadow him by firing the first shot?
6. Silence is not golden in this case. Speaking too late and allowing third parties to fire first means glaring poor leadership and the inability to size up the situation in a timely manner.
7. It also means taking Singaporeans and voters for granted and taking their responsibilities too lightly and their jobs too comfortably.
8. At least put up a show lah. Ask one of the million-dollar Ministers to make a parliamentary statement in order to take responsibility
and address this blunder, and promise to ensure that such blunders will not happen again.
9. Alternatively, initiate a board of Inquiry to look into the blunder and recommend standard operating procedures for the future. If even such actions also refused to do, then it speaks volumes about the leadership as a whole.
10. What has happened to all the political acumen and the wisdom passed down by the grand Old Man? Out of sight, out of mind?

Who is ruling Sinkieland now? The PM or his wife?
Of course you know who. Need you ask?" Maybe he get instructions each night for his daily routine. now she has given up her job, who knows what the the new arrangement will be. Let's wait and see what wayang will be performed.

Hi SSO,
Is the article from TOC written by you? Would like to put it up as a main article. If now written by you, would have to skip this. Did not have permission to publish full articles from TOC.
I must say that it is only natural for India to be proud when a half Indian became the Vice President of the USA, or for Halimah to be the President of Singapore. They have many proud moments with so many Indians in high places in Singapore. And there was Nair, then Nathan, and many good sons of Indian origins like Tharman, Shanmugam, Vivian, etc etc and an ex Indian now CEO of DBS.
These are good things to be proud of for India and Indians.
RB,
The article from TOC is not a full article. It's only a one-quarter extract from the main article in TOC.
Title of TOC's article is:
"Ho Ching appears to defend SNEC mistake while Lawrence Wong and Gan Kim Yong remain silent"
The main article must be very long. OK will put it up tomorrow.
Yes, the TOC's article has been carefully written to avoid attracting Mr Sue. That's why it went around the mulberry bush instead of hitting the nail on its head directly.
