Covid-19: Singapura Is Begging For Trouble
Today, (Saturday 30 Jan), Singapore has detected an additional 58 cases of COVID-19 infection.
This brings the total number of infection cases to 59,507, plus 89,000 that has been excluded from the total counts.
Out
of the 58 infected people. 55 have been happily imported in order to
take unnecessary risks of further transmission of the COVID-19
infections.
“Based on our investigations so far, the cases are in
the community, and there are no new cases in the dormitories,” said MOH
happily.
The 55 new imported cases, have been placed on
Stay-Home Notice or isolated upon arrival in Singappre but not
centralised in proper quarantine at the Communicable Diseases Centre,
again taking unnecessary risks.
This is the highest number of imported cases in Singapore since 24 January 2021.
Among
the imported cases are four permanent residents and 32 foreign domestic
workers. The other 19 cases could be aliens from other planets, as MOH
could not or refused to divulge where they come from and why are they
welcomed here to help spread the Covid-19 disease.
From the way things are going in, it looks like Singapore is deliberately begging for trouble, before trouble troubles us.
SSO
Many imported cases are from India.
ReplyDeleteThere are probably 'squealers' in every block of HDB flats. That is why they managed to know which house is breaking the rules.
ReplyDeleteA friend who applied to be a cab driver with NTUC many years ago, was asked if he would be willing to be the watchman for activities around his block of flats. He knows what this means and declined. This is not a made up story.
Never underestimate the reach of the dark side. What are those video cameras installed all over the lift entrances, bus stops, walkways etc. To prevent crime? Hahaha! And we worry about the information in those tokens being used against us. Is it too little too late?
Previously, MOH website reported imported cases and their breakdown in terms of nationality. Now it has stopped doing so. Why huh? What have the PAP 4G elites got to hide?
ReplyDeleteMOH reported that 25 cases of COVID-20 infections originated from the United Kingdom have been detected in Singapore, as of Friday (Jan 29).
ReplyDeleteIn response to CNA's queries, MOH happpily said that as of Jan 26, 5 of the B117 variant are community infections and 20 are imported cases from Europe.
That means the more contagious and more deadly UK's COVID-20 viruses are now spreading amongst the communities and no one is the wiser how widespread are they.
As long as MOH and the Task Force are taking it easy, behaving like ostrich, refusing to do a thorough testing of the whole population, there is no way to know how many have been infected but never seek medical attention. Therefore, there is no detection possible and therefore no reports forthcoming.
The government keeps telling the people to do their part, while it is not doing its part to carry out proactive testings across the country. The government is only dependent upon those who come forward to seek medical treatment in order to know the numbers to report.
This reactive modus operandi has been in operation since the beginning of the Pandemic.
Until now it still refuses to take proactive actions. Always waiting for things to happen and then act. But never anticipate what will happen and act before it happens.
This glaringly displayed Complacency has become the trademark of this present 4G millionaires ministars.
Sad, very sad and extremely disappointing.
Earlier in the year, after all the praises heaped on Singapore's control of the COVID19, we swell headedly almost lost control of the outbreak later, not taking a serious look at the spread in the dormitories.
ReplyDeleteHopefully we have not forgotten the lesson, and are now obviously not taking seriously the imported cases increasing day by day. A slip up somehow is going make things real ugly.
"29 new Covid-19 cases in Singapore, all imported" confirmed as at Sunday noon.
ReplyDeleteOpen-leg FT policies catering to the narrow interests of business people, at the expense of the rest of society.
Bet you most of the imported Covid-19 diseased people are from India, Indonesia, Myanmar and the Philippines.
ReplyDeleteThis pandemic really exposed the capability or incapability of the 4G leaders. Singapore and Singaporeans will be in the deep shit once these idiots take over full swing.
Covid-19 New Strains: Early Warning To Singapore
ReplyDeleteThe Director of the Oxford Vaccine Group has warned against complacency over the new Coronavirus variants.
"There is a moral case for trying to make sure people are protected everywhere," Professor Andrew Pollard told Radio 4’s Broadcasting House programme.
"But also a selfish reason – our health security absolutely depends on preventing disease in those in other countries who we might be interacting with and might bring new variants here as well."
Prof Pollard warns "we absolutely cannot be complacent" over new variants.
"While we allow it to continue to transmit in many parts of the world, that's exactly the circumstance...that new variants will arrive," he says.
He says data in the "very near future" will show current vaccines as effective against the Kent (UK) variant.
But the South African and Brazilian strains are "much more concerning", he says.
Although scientists will adapt vaccines to the new variants, in the mean time we must not be complacent. Necessary measures must be taken early to starve off these new, more deadly and more infectious Covid-19 variants.
There is really no room for complacency. Lack of actions now means much more hectic and difficult actions will be required subsequently.
It looks like the virus is adapting and mutating itself faster than our Scientist developing adaptable vaccines. How many variants from how many countries are already circulating is anybody's guess
ReplyDeleteOh yes, complacency in the belief that the vaccine for the first outbreak is effective against later variants. That has not been really tested I am sure. Not within the timeline needed for testing anyway.
ReplyDeleteHi 1984 George Orwell,
ReplyDeleteYour article 'When the Dragon is threatened, it grows even stronger' has gone viral on sms.
No Singaporean is safe until there is no more imported Covid-19 cases.
ReplyDeleteRB, thanks for the information. I didn't know about it earlier.
ReplyDeleteThe so-called, shameless experts are trying to justify for the increase in the numbers of imported infected cases into Singapore . They think the public is as stupid as them.
ReplyDeleteThere is simply no justification as far as imported cases are concerned.
Either you stop them from landing on Singapore soil or you allow them in deliberately, intentionally, purposely and encouragingly.
Either you stop it at the bud or you allow them in and take the unnecessary risk of proliferating the spread of the disease in the community.
There is no middle ground. You simply can't have the cake and eat it. So, trying to explain why there is a steady increase in the number of imported Covid-19 infections is not only useless but also harmful.
No scientist worth his salt would venture to explain away the sore-eye problem that is staring right into everyone's face right now, unless he has been ordered or enticed to do so.
We not only allow people from high risk countries coming in, we also allow their dependents to tag along as well. If the govt need to open the economy where some jobs already occupied by FTs, just let that those FTs in . The dependents can wait until the pandemic blows over.
ReplyDeleteEvery day, majority of the cases are imported, yet the blame and the threat of more onerous safety measures are borne by the locals.
The "Stupidity has no cure" disease must has also affected millionaire Ministers. Especially, those who have given too much good tonic food by their wives, to prolong their lives and sexual prowess but instead affected their thinking power, and is probably driving them senile prematurely.
ReplyDeleteThe millionstars are also going to replace the local wildlife in our Nature Reserves and existing greenery at Dover, Bukit Batok, Clementi, etc. with human wildlife from India.
ReplyDeleteWhen leaders' position and status in their lives are stable, unshakeable, then the citizens must expect a certain degree of arrogance, complacency and inefficiency. This is a natural progression.
ReplyDeleteWhen they have too much power and the ease to use it in any way they like, they naturally take things for granted and they will not care two hoods what the commoners think or feel.
Their only preoccupation of the day is two-fold:
1. How to keep and maintain this absolute power.
2. How to fix any opposition that threatens or rocks their power base.
