AAAD/A2AD - The end of American military threat

 For decades, and the last century, China was faced with foreign military threats from the sea. China suffered military defeats and humiliation from the combined western forces and also from Japan when they attacked China from the sea. Ever since the WW2, the Americans have been deploying their aircraft carriers and military bases in Japan, South Korea and the Philippines to threaten China. This formidable threat ended in the 1990s when China came out with the defence strategy called Anti Access and Area Denial or AAAD/A2AD. 

This strategy is backed up by a formidable anti aircraft carrier missiles forces, the DF21s, DF26s, DF41s and now the DF17s and DF100s. The range of these missiles now covers practically all the oceans of the world, not just 2,500km and 4000km of the DF21s and DF26s. What these meant is that all aircraft carriers and ships and military bases are now within the reach of Chinese missiles and can be easily, efficiently and economically destroyed. 

Though the Americans and its crony states are still fooling around in the surrounding seas of China, acting as if they are a threat to China, trying to provoke China, if war is declared, all would be taken out. All American bases in Japan, South Korea and the Philippines, and aircraft carriers as far as Guam would be wiped out in the first phase of a war.

China has effectively neutralised the American military threat, including threat from Japan with hundreds of thousands of such missiles in Chinese soil and islands. There is no need for China to be sailing its warships to flex its muscles in the Pacific or Indian Oceans. They are all within range of Chinese missiles as far as Diego Garcia and even Australia.

This AAAD or A2AD defence strategy can also be applied to countries in the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. 

The Americans are still brazenly strutting around in the Mediterranean and Indian Oceans with their aircraft carriers to threaten the Arab states, including their military bases in the region. All it needs is for all the Arab states to acquire a few hundred DF21s from China would do the job to neutralise the American and Israeli threats and also threats from Nato. 

Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Egypt, Libya etc etc, when armed with the DF anti aircraft carrier missiles that can also hit all the land bases, it would put an end to the threats from Israel and the American bases and aircraft carriers. When the Americans cannot use their military bases and send aircraft carriers into the region, they can no longer threaten the Arab and Muslim countries.

The only caveat is nuclear threat. North Korea, Pakistan and Iran are safe from such threats as they too possess nuclear weapons to send to Israel or the USA. What is needed is for China and Russia to make a stand that if the US uses nuclear weapons to hit at any state, nuclear or non nuclear state, China and Russia would respond likewise. This should keep the American savages from behaving wildly and recklessly.

The Arab and Muslim states, including Latin American and African states must make it a top priority to acquire DF missiles to protect themselves from the American and western military threats. Some already did. The A2AD strategy is applicable and effective to them as well. With the possession of such weapons, the Americans would not dare to sail their aircraft carriers into the Mediterranean Sea or the seas around the Arabia Sea and Persian Gulf. This is the most efficient and economical defence strategy for states threatened by the Americans and the West. Period. The defence forces can just sit comfortably in home bases while the enemies are within reach and courting their own destruction with the push of the fingers.

PS. All Arab and Muslim states must adopt this A2AD strategy, acquire as many DF21s as possible to be safe and not be threatened by the Americans, Israel and the West. DF17s may be good enough for shorter ranges.
