Ukraine - World War 3 in a cock pit

In a way the Americans have started WW3 but in a cock pit. That is the nature of this war, contained, limited, but involving many countries all over the world. And the gladiators, Ukraine soldiers versus Russian soldiers, while the rest of the world chip in with their contributions in kind. In a way it is quite fortunate that the fighting is contained in a specific and small area, provided it does not spread out across Europe, though it could happen if not properly handled. This is WW3 because the Americans are dragging and pressuring every country into this war, either or the side of the Americans or be enemies of the Americans.

The most happy people are the Americans, fighting another war in far away Europe, with them in full control, how many men to put in, how many pieces of hardware to throw in and how long they want it to last.  Even the temperature or velocity of the war is managed by the Americans safely from far across the Atlantic and with the Europeans very willing to do the heavy lifting.  Very neat indeed.

And the biggest beneficiary, the American Military Industrial Complex, now in full production for all kinds of weapons needed by the Ukrainians. Any smaller pieces of weapons or accessories could be subcontracted to American allies and stooges to produce. And who is footing the bill? Ukraine would be paying for everything eventually. But in the meantime all the allies and stooges would have to cough out their shares for the war. European countries would bare the brunt of the initial cost. They have to supply whatever allocated to the Ukrainians. Other allies and stooges too would have to pay their shares. The MIC would be the producer and seller of all the main weapons and the merchant to profit from the sales.

The Americans and their allies would be the non participating contestants or cheering teams watching the gladiators slogging it out in the arena in Ukraine. Russia would have its own team of non participating contestants to provide the backups and supplies and cheering teams. They too would have to pay in some way according to their contributions.

It is a funny kind of world war when the real contestants, the eventual winner or loser, are not doing the real fighting but throwing in their bets or chips from the sideline. It can be called a war in many names, proxy war, protracted war, a war of endurance, a complex war involving a contest in economic prowess and manufacturing power, and control of resources to outlast the opponents. There is only one guaranteed loser, the Ukrainian men or soldiers.  But they would all be decorated as dead war heroes.

This war could only end when Ukraine uses up all its manpower, ie no more healthy men to continue the fighting, unless the Americans and Europeans are willing to chip in with more of their own men. It is not that they are not already in the arena, but the actual numbers are too small at the moment. The Ukrainians are doing all the work, fighting and dying.

Relatively the Russians would not have manpower problem as they easily outmatch the Ukrainians in numbers, probably 10 to 1. When all are the Ukrainian men are dead, there would still be many Russian men standing.

The rest of the world should be very glad that they are not participants in this world war, unless they volunteered to fight or the Americans volunteered them to join the battle. Other than the Ukrainians, there is high hope for the Europeans to become gladiators in the ring as well. After all they are just living next door and could easily be dragged into it with a few false flag incidents, or ordered by the Americans.

Let's hope that this WW3 would last for as long as it could, with the Americans and Europeans bogged down in Europe and don't have the time and resources to stir more conflicts elsewhere. It would be cheaper for the rest of the world in terms of destruction and lost of lives, just contribute happily to this war and don't get dragged in or sucked in for no good reason, not even on grounds of principles.

Let's all cheer the Americans and the Europeans on for their bravery and heroism and fighting skills. Let them show their manhood and their expertise in producing the best weapons of war. And Zelensky would likely be the hero, the richest Ukrainian to live out the war, as the Russians would not want to touch him. Zelensky is the luckiest Ukrainian man that would survive this war and ended with a big fortune fully paid by the Americans for his great role in supplying the Ukrainian gladiators for the war.

Thank you Americans for the creativity to invent such a world war that is limited in nature, in velocity and death and destruction. And also thank the Ukrainians, especially Zelensky, for his great contribution to this war, to make it possible without involving the rest of the world directly. Zelensky is undoubtedly the star actor of this show, the greatest show on earth.

Neither Russia nor the Americans would win, but never mind, that is not important. Let this be the unending WW3.

  1. Mark my words. Zelensky is going to get the Nobel Peace Prize. When every world body is hijacked by the USA and the West, awarding the Nobel Prize to whoever they want is a piece of cake. They are enjoying their 'Freedom of Choice' unilaterally. Not the rest of the world, particularly non White countries.

  2. Zelensky should be charged for the genocide of Ukrainians. No leader has voluntarily made a stupid decision leading to the destruction of his country and death of his people in such a scale when it is totally unnecessary...but under the instruction of a foreign power, the USA.

  3. Inflation in the USA has gone up to 8.5% in March, the highest in 40 years. And Biden is blaming Putin for all the ills of the USA. China will be next. They never blame themselves.

Inflation in USA was relatively low when Biden came into the White House. It started rising even before the Ukraine War started, so Republicans are not buying into Biden's take on the issue, by trying to push all the blame on inflation to Putin and the Ukraine War.

Earlier in his term, Biden had been talking about adding trillions to the USA debt to fund the fight against COVID and his Build Back Better plan, printing banana money by the trillions, which as anyone knows, will eventually cause massive inflation. This is the exact consequence if any other country does the same. But the USA thinks it is exceptional and can just export the surplus banana notes printed, and together with it, it's inflation, all over the world as they always did.

It works very well over the decades when demand for US$ around the world was instrumental in absorbing their inflation caused by their unrestrained printing of US$. But then the trade war came, and the USA cuts trade with China, so how much lesser US$ would the Chinese side be absorbing out of the surplus fiat money the USA have been printing? That is why now there appears to have been a roll back and more trade seems to have taken place between the USA and China. This also applies to other countries caught by Trump's trade war. Moreover, the higher tariffs imposed on Chinese goods are contributing to inflation as well. China is not paying for the tariffs, but USA consumers are paying for more expensive stuff from China.

On top of that there was the massive trade deals of hundreds of billions done between China, Iran and Russia among others, bypassing the use of the US$. What does all this mean? They are not inconsequential issues for the US$.

If all those US$ fiat money printed year after year, and the bulk remains in the USA, what do you think it will do? Whatever exceptionalism they have cannot defeat the inflation it will create. That is what is happening now. The Russian sanctions and the demand by the Russians to do oil in Rubles is adding one more nail in the US$ coffin by trimming world demand for US$ and boosting demand for Rubles instead. Inflation will get worse in the USA going forward.

In fact the unrestrained printing of more US$ has given the impression that there is only a small fall in the percentage share of the usage of the US$ in world trade. The reality is more severe. The last I know was the US$ had a 59% share of usage among all the major currencies, like the Euro and Yen in world trade.

Of course other countries are facing the same problem as they still need US$ for trade with the USA and is sharing the inflation trap exported by the USA.

  4. Russia fought a very strategic war and well planned. By tying down Ukrainian troops in Kiev and elsewhere and threatening Kiev itself, the Ukrainian Military were unable to provide reinforcements to boost troop strength in Mariupol, leading to it's fall. It is reported that more than a thousand Ukrainian troops have surrendered in Mariupol. Among them probably is a USA General directing the Ukrainian Military, hidden inside the steel manufacturing facility, that the Ukrainian Military had been trying to extricate and paying a costly price..

Oh yeah, Ukraine is winning the war if you follow the MSM. With the USA directing the war in Ukraine, victory is just a game of make believe. Does Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan provide all the proof? The USA is probably directing how to extend the duration of the war.

  5. The Americans have taken control over Ukraine and are fighting this war, not the Ukrainians. The daft Ukrainians think they are fighting this war when command and control are in the hands of the Americans. The Ukrainians are fighting like unthinking robots without knowing that they have lost their country to the Americans.

Also, not only life has come to a standstill, all economic activities are as good as dead.

Do the daft Ukrainians know what is happening to them and their country?

  6. The US' overseas human rights records are notorious, and domestic human rights violations are not uncommon. Though the US is the richest country in the world, at least 40 million Americans live in poverty. The US is one of the most unequal society in the developed world, ranking 35th out of 37 OECD countries for poverty and inequality. The US has the highest infant mortality rate in the developed world, and the youth poverty rate is the highest in the OECD countries.

The American Civil Liberties Union pointed out that not only does the US not honor the United Nations Convention against Torture, but also selectively interprets it, leading to widespread torture and mistreatment of prisoners in Guantanamo Bay, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Moreover, US human rights issues have deep historical roots, as the US has long had problems such as racial segregation and racial inequality.

In US history, there was the genocide and massacre of Native Americans and US law enforcement brutality has resulted in frequent cases of African American deaths.

To this day, the systematic racism is still evident in every corner of American society.

For a long time, international public opinion has widely criticized the global humanitarian crisis created by the US.

At the 46th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in 2021, the Syrian representative condemned the US for evading its obligations under international law and for making excuses for its military aggression and threats to the unity and territorial integrity of other countries.

  7. In retrospect, the main purpose behind the frantic diplomatic efforts by some of the NATO countries (France and Germany, in particular) to sponsor “humanitarian corridors” out of Mariupol had a nefarious agenda to exfiltrate the Western officers trapped in the city. The heart of the matter is, NATO forces are de facto deployed in Ukraine, as foreign volunteers or as military instructors, and, equipped with heavy military equipment, they are fighting the Russian Army.

A French journalist who managed to sneak in with French “volunteers” has since come out with a video showing that American military personnel coordinate the foreign military in Ukraine and are directly handling the training and enrolment of the foreign “volunteers” in the Ukrainian forces.

In such conditions, quite obviously, peace talks between Moscow and Kiev cannot progress. The big question is: Does the Biden administration want the conflict to end and a peace agreement to be negotiated? The answer seems ‘no’. In fact, the US is fueling this conflict.

There have been reports that the operations in Mariupol were under the command of an American general who attempted to escape by helicopter sent to rescue him a week ago, but was intercepted by the Donetsk militia involved in the operation alongside the Russian forces, and was taken into their custody.

It is entirely conceivable that the Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer’s Moscow mission on Monday and his “very direct, open and tough” talks with Putin at a one-to-one meeting at the latter’s Novo-Ogaryovo residence near Moscow was in coordination with Washington.

There has been no readout of the 75-minute meeting from the Kremlin.

  8. Putin defined a more limited aim for the war, focusing on control of the Donbass — and not all of Ukraine. Putin reiterated that Russia’s actions so far in several regions of Ukraine were intended only to tie down enemy forces and carry out missile strikes with the purpose of destroying the Ukrainian military’s infrastructure, so as to “create conditions for more active operations on the territory of Donbass.”

In his words, “Our goal is to provide aid to the people of Donbass, who feel an unbreakable bond with Russia and have been the subjects of genocide for eight years.”

Asked why the operation cannot be speeded up, Putin told reporters: “I often get these questions, ‘can’t we hurry it up?’ We can. But it depends on the intensity of hostilities and, any way you put it, the intensity of hostilities is directly related to casualties.”

He made it clear that “our task is to achieve the set goals while minimising these losses. We will act rhythmically, calmly, and according to the plan that was initially proposed by the General Staff.” He added, “The operation is going according to plan.”

Clearly, Mariupol port city in the south of Donbass could have been conquered with brute force. But that would have caused horrific casualties. Instead, the enemy forces — Ukrainian military, neo-Nazi Azov battalion and foreign mercenaries — have been steadily cornered and entrapped in two main locations, namely, Azovstal steel mills and the city’s main port.

The Russian forces have gained control of the port, while in Azovstal, about 3000-strong enemy forces have been surrounded, who include possibly dozens or hundreds of military officers from the NATO countries — and, surprisingly, Sweden. The experts estimate that the fall of the city into Russian hands is imminent. The Russian Ministry of Defence announced on Wednesday that over 1,000 Ukrainian troops, including 162 officers, surrendered earlier in the day in Mariupol.

  9. Brits staged Bucha

Interestingly, Putin confirmed yesterday the reports that British intelligence had stage-managed the so-called Bucha killings to pillory Russian military and create an international ruckus. Pentagon had ostentatiously distanced itself from the controversy riveted on what turned out to be fake news. Putin said:

“There is a lot of commotion, but they (EU and US) just needed to adopt a new package of sanctions, as we know very well. Today, we discussed their special operation, the psychological operation carried out by the British.

“If you want to know the addresses, the secret meeting places, the licence plate numbers, the brands of vehicles they used in Bucha, and how they did it, the FSB of Russia can provide this information. If not, we can help. We exposed that ugly, disgusting position of the West together with our Russian friends, in full and from the beginning to the end.”

  11. The Russia Ukraine War will end soon.
Kiev shall fall within weeks follow by all the Other Major Ukraine Cities.
The Ukraine Soldiers are giving-up and surrendering. The Ukraine People are abandoning their Mother-land, Ukraine is going down the drain.
If the War stops, it shall be a blessing to the World if no other countries fall into US ploy and instigation. South Korea seems to be the Most Vulnerable Victim to US Manipulation at the Moment. Hope its' New President and or the South Korea People are not too foolish to fall into the Trap sets up by the US.
The World shall be better for all than before when it stays peaceful.

    Cheers

  12. Not so fast. Putin's objective is not Kiev but to secure the Donbass region. American interest is to prolong the war for as long as they can just like all their wars, to destabilise and to suck money from all the countries to buy weapons.

  13. Thank Anon 3.12 for the update.

Now, does the Brits immediate blocking of Russia's attempt to call the UN to investigate the Bucha issue makes sense? I think it does, as any UN investigation will uncover their dirty hands and deeds. As it is I do not think the USA is innocent.

I always say, the Brits are the worst generator of lies. They gave the USA all the fake news of WMD in Iraq. It is a blessing that they are no longer the great power they were before.

  14. There have been reports that the USA itself is importing more oil from Russia, 43% more in fact, breaking their own sanctions. It is interesting to know whether they now have to pay for that in Rubles or US$. If the former, it is significant that even the USA is supporting the Ruble instead of pushing it down as Biden gloatingly commented. How interesting!

  15. Does not surprise me. If Boris Johnson can get away with all the lies about his parties at 10, Downing Street during lockdown, is he trustworthy to lead the country?

  18. Singapore Chooses its Friends for a New Generation: Lee Hsien Loong’s Foreign Policy Legacy . . . By Michael Barr

Neither Lee Kuan Yew nor Goh Chok Tong would have sold NOL just because of a downturn in the shipping industry — they would have recognised that as an island state dependent on access to international trade routes, Singapore needed a national shipping line for strategic reasons.

. . he has thrown off both cloaks of ambiguity and has proudly and loudly hooked Singapore’s star to the Stars and Stripes for another generation
