Foreigners in Singapore have turned from being welcome to being cursed and hated

"Work pass holders help expand our economy and create more opportunities for us. When we complement our own workforce with skills from around the world, more companies will invest here, and this then creates more jobs for Singaporeans. This is a virtuous cycle," he said.

However, when there is a large number of work pass holders, people "naturally become worried" about competition for jobs, with uncertainties of COVID-19 worsening such anxieties.

"Work pass holders reinforce the team, but may also compete directly with their local colleagues. Sometimes the locals feel unfairly treated, for instance when they miss out on being hired or promoted," said Mr Lee. CNA

This motherhood statement that we need foreigners to create more jobs for Singaporeans and to complement our own workforce has been flogged for so many years that the poor horse had been dated but the floggers still did not know they are flogging a dead horse.

The huge presence of foreigners working here versus the huge numbers of Singaporeans being sacked, retired, jobless, underemployed, are all out there that only the blind refused to see. And many still think they could continue to lie to the daft Singaporeans and getting away with it. The Singaporeans are damned and the anger is surfacing in every corner of the island. Xenophobia or racism?  The govt can continue to ignore the cries of the desperate Singaporeans and keep blaring this motherhood statement day in and day out. No Singaporean is going to believe in this sick joke. Even the PAP supporters do not believe in it anymore. There are too much pain and suffering because of this sick statement.

The foreigners are here not to create jobs but to take our jobs. Get it? The foreigners are here not to complement Singaporean workforce but making Singaporeans complement them while they took away the plum jobs.

Still want to look for evidence to prove otherwise? Just go and visit Chennai Business Park or Mumbai Financial Centre. Get off your ass and walk around to see with your own eyes and stop pretending that all is fine.

Enough said. No point wasting time and breath on people that refused to see their crimes against Singaporeans. Have they not done enough harm to Singaporeans and their families? Have they not heard the cursing and swearing at them? Increasing you are hearing Singaporeans angrily saying what is there to celebrate in National Day. This is how sad this country has become for Singaporeans.

Singaporeans are not against openess. Singaporeans are against the shameful open legs policy, worse than being prostitutes. Prostitutes also have some restraints and self respect.

Singaporeans do not need the upskilling shit to turn PMETs into Grab drivers and senior cleaners or cleaning supervisors. These are the greatest insults to our graduates from our world class universities.

  1. Thank you. That's the best National Day Message I have heard in years. We need to Maju Lah and stop the absurd policies.

  2. The pain and suffering inflicted on Singaporeans by this toxic CECA and the people that made it happened have exceeded the level of tolerance.

Everyone affected is showing the middle fingerto the government and the people that caused them to lose their jobs and had to downgrade to become Grab drivers and delivery boys and cleaning supervisors.

The imbeciles are still inviting these poor Singaporeans to upskilling courses to get a certificate to show that they are trained and skill in these precious trades.

  4. "Work pass holders help expand our economy and create more opportunities for us. When we complement our own workforce with skills from around the world, more companies will invest here, and this then creates more jobs for Singaporeans. This is a virtuous cycle," PM Lee Hsien Loong said.

"Work pass holders help screw up our economy by making our ministers taking the short-cut and lazy to think of better ways of expanding our economy and create more opportunities for foreigners to take away our jobs. When we do not complement our own workforce with skills from around the world but make them replace and displace us, more companies will invest here because cost of labour becomes cheap, and this then creates more jobs for foreign scavengers under the guise of creating more jobs for Singaporeans. This is a vicious cycle," we, Singaporeans said and said and still say.

So, Mr Prime Minister, please spare us the agony of hearing the same old mantra of "Foreigners create jobs for Singaporeans!" It is time for you to wake up and think out of the box, instead of still resting on past formulas, glories and laurels.

If you still cannot see the real problems in our midst, then please step down and let other more capable people run the show.

  5. The Taliban has captured three more provincial capitals, as they take their fight to the cities after seizing much of the countryside in recent months.

The group has seized five provincial capitals in Afghanistan since Friday in a lightning offensive that appears to have overwhelmed government forces.

When will Singapore be captured by the Taliban from India?

  7. What works in big countries like the USA should not be taken as the formula that will work in Singapore.

We have a small local population, unlike the USA, where a couple of millions in immigrants is a drop in the ocean for them. Even then, they have quotas to let in immigrant numbers.

We have limited land area to accommodate a large foreign worker population, unlike the USA which has unlimited land and space. We pretend and think that we can withstand a larger population, whether residents or guest, but the limited land space is already telling, with housing, transport, water resources all under strain.

We try to space out the crowdedness in trains by building more and more MRT lines, but people do not live on trains, and by the end of the day, the crowds still converge at vantage points like malls, food courts and hawker centers.

  8. 'We are renowned for our openness?' Should have said we are renowned for our wide open legs! Wide open legs always have ready takers, right?

They can't even tolerate a strong opposition in Parliament by erecting hurdles to make sure of that.

How to teach swollen heads about propriety and knowing how small they are despite their million dollar salary?

  11. The decision made in 2004 to turn a then thriving Singapore economy with 4 million population, including 0.5 million PRs, to 5.7 million today with additional influx of 1.7 million foreigners is the bane of many Singaporeans' livelihood and a huge deterioration of Singaporean environmental living conditions.

As Lee Yuan Yew said on foreign workforce in 1979: "In five years, you will have 120,000, in 10 years, a quarter million. They are good workers. They are hungry, they are lean, they are keen. But I have a responsibility to you. In 10 years, can we digest so many? There will be cultural, linguistic, social and political problems."

  12. On second thought, we do not follow the USA. Theirs is always 'America or Americans First' whereas we are mothing into 'Foreigners First'. It was not in the old man's watch. It became so under Woody's watch and escalated under Pinky.

If this continues, the next election will be pivotal with the pandemic making the situation even more acute as more local lost their jobs.

On a unrelated topic, I was shocked to watch some videos on Youtube regarding the situation across the Causeway and JB looks like a ghost town, with Malls like City Square closed down, shops along streets shuttered or closed down, hotels closed down.

    Dear Ah Loong-San
What evidence or proof do you offer to support your wild claims that foreigners create more jobs for Singaporeans? <-------

Given the large number of foreigners working in Singapore
    - I think it is more accurate to say that Singapore creates more jobs for foreigners.

  17. With all the black and white evidence walking all over the island, only idiots would think they could still lie to Singaporeans that foreigners create jobs for Singaporeans.

Look at all the top jobs in Temasek and GIC. If not because of Singaporean money, these foreigners would be jobless.

The liars still dare to lie when they can no longer hide the truths.

  22. Aug. 10, the day after Singapore national holiday, is a joyous day for CECA Indians and whining expatriates as the city state allows work pass holders and their dependants to enter the country from higher-risk countries or regions, provided they are fully vaccinated before arrival.

Reuters reported scientists at Public Health England (PHE) said Friday there are signs that people who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 may be able to transmit the Delta variant of the virus as easily as those who have not.

The findings chime with those from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which last week raised concerns that vaccinated people infected with Delta could, unlike with other variants, readily transmit it.

  29. The day after National Day, Singaporeans are preparing for more deaths, as warned by the rookie health minister, as the ruling PAP 4G elites open the flood gates to CECA Indians and expatriates to reopen the economy.

    ReplyDelete
  30. They know more deaths is coming for sure. The warning is to put everyone in a state of mind of preparedness so that when the shit starts hitting the fan, they will say we already warned you so.

When that happens, you can bet those unvaccinated oldies will foot the bill. But who infected them? Not a difficult question to answer. If vaccination reaches 80% by end of August it only means that the fully vaccinated are spreading the virus. And that includes those imported fully vaccinated people.

    1. No matter what they said or may say, blood is on their hands. The have premeditated the potential deaths to the oldies. They deliberately cause the deaths of the oldies. They have to answer for their imminent deaths and answer to their wandering and vengeful souls.

This is the Ghost Month and they purposely open the floodgates for more Delta Variant coronavirus from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nepal to come into Singapore, using the excuse of vaccination.

Vaccination certificates are very easy to buy or fake, especially for those who come from the highly corrupted countries in South Asia.

Book-worm scholars are book smart but not street smart. And they are good only in conning the daft Sinkies.

But when dead, after getting killed by the Delta COVID-19 from India, the wandering souls of Sinkies will not be going for vengeance, even though they may be daft in their life time.
