China's new no nonsense diplomacy

The meeting in Anchorage, Alaska, marked the turning point in Chinese Diplomacy, from a non retaliatory and non reactive policy to one of mutual respect and reciprocal in nature. For decades since China return to the world stage as a super power, China continued to adopt a conciliatory and accommodating policy of not hitting back when attacked or wronged by hostile and aggressive countries. The USA and many western countries, including silly Asean countries did not appreciate the non aggressive Chinese policy and took it as a sign of weakness. Instead of accepting China's appeasement as a friendly gesture and reciprocate with lowering the temperature, they continue to attack and demonise China on a daily basis, even with hostile and aggressive acts.

The meeting in Alaska was the last straw on the camel's back. China went there hoping to start a new relatonship with the Americans under a new Biden regime, but prepared for the worse. And the Americans chose to show their animosity, to want to continue to bully China by their hostile interference with China's domestic affairs. China had to react with plan B, ie tit for tat, aggression for aggression. China was blunt and firm in hitting back at the Americans and not giving an inch to the Americans. The Americans had been bragging about being firm with the Chinese, after flirting with the Quad members and thinking they could put China under pressure, sanction Chinese officials on eve of the meeting as a show of force.

The Chinese hit back forcefully and stating in no uncertain terms, enough is enough. China would henceforth hit back at anything the Americans throw at them and at anyone that think they could take potshots at China. The EU's sanction on China the next day was returned with bigger sanctions against the EU members. China meant business and would treat everyone with equal respect and equal animosity, come what may.

China's Wolf Warrior Diplomacy is now in full view to the world. Deal with China as an equal and with mutual respect. Any country having wild ideas thinking they can still irritate China and wanting to pick a fight with China must be prepared to have their ass kicked by China. China has now given the Brits a big ass kick as well.  This silly little has been country is still dreaming in high noon that China could be bullied.

China getting more assertive and aggressive? Wait till you see the real assertive and aggressive China in the days to come. You want respect from China you have to treat China with equal respect. You want to trade and do business with China, you are welcome. But not when you think you can muck around with China and doing silly things behind China's back, attacking China with white lies.

The world would now have to live with a more assertive and aggressive China or a more respectful China if treated with respect and sincerity. The evil and aggressive Americans and the West will have to rethink how they are going to be treated by, yes, a more aggressive and confident China. Period.

China today is self sufficient in almost everything, in science and technology.  China can manufacture anything it needs. China has no reason to trade with hostile countries that regard China as enemy. China would decouple with the US if necessary and cut off trade with smaller countries if it needed.

Here comes aggressive China and the world has got to adjust and live with it, like it or not. Has China made its position clear? Have the enemies of China understood the new China?

  1. The retaliation by China against the USA trade war marks the beginning of China's no more nonsense approach to USA bullying. Trump warned China not to retaliate. That is the kind of arrogance they exhibit. China retaliated nevertheless.

The Brits tried to relive their past faded glory by sending their aircraft carrier 'Queen Elizabeth' to the South China Sea. Like the 'Repulse' and 'Prince of Wales' Britain needs to be careful not to end up repeating history. If they are not careful, they will end up singing their national anthem 'God save the aircraft carrier, Queen Elizabeth'.

Oh yes, China has made it's position crystal clear in Alaska. As Robert de Nero, playing the role of Al Capone (if I remember correctly), said this classic line in the movie 'The Untouchables' - 'You mess with me, I will mess with you' or something to that effect.

  2. China's Yang Jiechi was angry at the recent meeting in Anchorage, Alaska. That was only the second occasion he was visibly annoyed at an international diplomatic meeting.

The first occasion was at a 2010 gathering in Hanoi attended by then US secretary of state Hillary Clinton and foreign ministers from South-East Asian countries, many of which contest Beijing’s territorial claims in the South China Sea, Yang Jiechi warned them that “China is a big country and other countries are small countries and that’s just a fact”. Yang was looking at Singapore’s foreign minister as he spoke.

  3. The South China Sea island claims have been so distorted by the mischievous Americans into China claiming the islands of SE Asian countries.

The truth is that SE Asian countries claiming Chinese islands. The aggressive parties are the SE Asian countries, not China. China had to resort to force to kick out the Vietnamese in some islands. There is still another big island that China officially let the Vietnamese used, at the request of the Vietnameese, during the Vietnam War. The Vietnamese still using and refusing to return. China would have to take it back by force one day.

With the hidden hands of the Americans egging them on, the Asean countries think they could steal Chinese islands. Fat hope.

  4. The UK, thinking that the USA is watching it's back is stockpiling it's nuclear arsenal. It is trying very hard to revive it's glorious days of ruling the waves. These nuclear weapons are said to be for confronting Russia and to counter China's rise. It is the same old mantra. Is China a threat to the UK, being thousands of miles away? Are Chinese warships lurking in UK waters? What Hogwash reasons!

They are increasing their stockpile of Trident missiles, made in the USA. In times of conflict and one such missiles fired by the USA accidentally landed on Moscow, like the 'accidentally purposeful' bombing of the Chinese Embassy in Belgrade, the UK will disappear forever from the face of the earth with one strike on London by Russia. How many Trident missiles the UK have will not change anything. The Russians knew of such missiles in UK's hands and might think the UK did them in, not the USA. A friendly false flag operation?

It will never happen? I am not too sure if the USA is still using outdated maps and floppy diskettes in the army. Their infrastructures like bridges, highways, dams are falling apart and they are resorting to PAP (Patch and Pray lah not that other) methods to keep them from coming apart. It may be the same in other matters.

  5. China's J-16 multi-role fighter jet is flawless and is much superior to other similar aircraft including, the Su-30, revealed a pilot who has experience flying it as well as other types of aircraft.

The J-16 has been a frequent flyer near the Taiwan Straits and has also been deployed to safeguard China's western borders. Analysts said on Wednesday that the fighter jet is one of China's core elements of air defense forces.

"In terms of performance, the J-16 is a superior to all types of aircraft I have flown. Speaking of the control capacity of the aircraft, the J-16 is a 3.5 generation plane with huge breakthroughs in radar and fire control systems in comparison with previous aircraft, said Wang Songxi, a flying instructor at the People's Liberation Army Northern Theater Command Air Force, during an interview with China Central Television (CCTV) on Tuesday.

The J-16 has no flaws, because it is equipped with many types of weapons and can operate under all weather conditions, Wang said.

Explaining the strong combat capabilities of the J-16, Wang drew some comparisons with other well-known aircraft.

Normal people usually can't tell the difference between a J-16 and a Su-30 from their appearance, but many things are difference from the inside, Wang said, noting that there is a gap that makes the J-16 a generation more advanced than the Su-30.

  6. Well they are demolishing those claims in the MSM.

But never mind. That was also what they did or say about many of the other things developed by China.

Now who is laughing at the way China became the factory of the world, went to the moon, have their own space station, have super computers, high speed rail covering vast areas both city and urban areas, ahead in AI (which incidentally have also elicited criticisms), ahead in 5G and more to come.

Let them laugh. It is the last laugh that matters. Let them denigrate. It is having to eat humble pie later that is more humbling.

  7. F5Es are very old planes.

After retiring our Skyhawks we bought the 5Es. Then we retired them and went for F16s, and now F15s and next the super expensive useless F35s that probably too much for average talent pilots to fly and max what it can do.

F35s are like a watch with many useless dials. Good to look at but many dials difficult to use or unnecessary.

    ReplyDelete
  8. To max out what F35s can do, you need a very smart pilot, like the stuff of nerds. But nerds are likely not fighter pilot material and unlikely to be able to fly them.

Complex planes with many capabilities need super pilots. How many of our pilots are super pilots?

  9. In a recent interview, Biden was reported to have said he would not allowed China to become wealthy and powerful under his Watch. And we thought Trump was bad?

For geopolitical reasons, he may ensure that China cannot supercede US militarily.
But to also say Chinese cannot become rich is either racist or his senility has confused his mind on what was his intended words.

The one thing he can watch though, for himself is on how to board the flight of stairs to Air Force One as the memes circulating viral of his recent triple falls are now making a mockery of his pesidency.

  10. China must also wish Biden four more years of good health in order to ensure China does not become wealthy and powerful under his watch. Yes, he should watch his baby steps rather than keeping watch on China so that China cannot be wealthy and powerful.

What is he thinking in his senile mind? China's GDP is galloping along and is expected to overtake the US in a couple of years. Perhaps he is being confused by the astronomical USA debts which China cannot overtake or even wants to overtake.

China may not, by itself, be able to supersede the US militarily. But China and Russia together is a different kettle of fish. And Biden now knows what is on Putin's mind!

Biden will not be around in the White House after four more years, but Xi and Putin will probably still be there.

  11. Small little countries better know that they are small and sidestep when elephants fight or they would be quashed in the process.

Small countries must also wake up their ideas that China is going to let them continue to play monkey tricks or scratch at China. China is going to carry a big stick to whack the daylight out of small little countries that tried to be naughty and think they could get away hiding behind the Americans.

They better get the message that things are not the same anymore. Stay clear and be safe.

  12. Does PAP-led Singapore follow the United Nations-centered international system and the international order underpinned by international law or the “rules-based international order” that serves only the interests of the Western powers?

    ReplyDelete
  13. China won't surpass the USA during Biden's watch is true, because his term ends in just four years time. China is expected to overtake the USA only by 2028, which is long after Biden's watch.

Looking at him stammering with squinting eyes when he talks and his unsteady gait, Biden is sick and will not even last the four years.

  14. Look some similities happened in the Red sea. During the rein of Pharaoh era, Moses led the pheasants walked across the opened red sea. Fast forwarded today, President Xi is leading the third worlds to escaped the Hegemony of USA and again help by the Taiwanese Cargo Ship bridging across Suez Canal. Evergreen taboo

  16. The more the Whites go Anti-Asians and Anti-China, the more Asians and Chinese must UNITE and become STRONGER.

It is not 2ok years ago, that Asians and the whole world were at the mercy of the Whites.

Today, the situation is different. Asians, with Russia and China together, can now stand up against the big bullies and murderous Whitemen. And we should. WE MUST.

They go Anti-Asians. We go Anti-Whites. They bully and murdered our people. We can and must give them back a piece of their own bitter medicine. We can drive all Whitemen out if our countries. We can boycott all imports from Whitenen countries. We can stop exporting our goods to them. We can stop do8ng businesses with them. We can go on a cold war with the 5-Eyes countries - USA, UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, as well as the Quarts (India, Japan, Australia and USA).

India and Japan are TRAITORS to Asians. They deserved to be treated badly by the Whites.

  17. Eastern countries should consider purchasing more military jets, tanks, equipments from China and Russian. This would balance up the world power.

  18. I almost fell off my toilet seat when the White House tried to explain away why Biden fell three times boarding his plane.

It was a tricky stairs they claimed. It was a gust of wind that made him lose balance.

Let me give my take. It was a ghost that pushed him three times. Or maybe an alien did it. A warning!

We thought the lies Trump used were hilarious. This was extraordinary.

  19. Turkey is buying Russian air defence missiles and the USA is pissed off. The Saudis also, after their oil installations were attacked by unsophisticated Yemeni missiles. They were supposed to be protected by USA air defence missiles that failed to work. Talk about USA boasting about having the best missile defence system. Is Taiwan and Japan watching and listening?

  20. The recent missile attack on an American base in Iraq killing one American mercenary, aka contractor, was initially reported as by Iranian supported militia men.

After investigation the Americans found out that the attack was by the Israelis. Another false flag incident, attacking Americans to blame Iran and inciting the Americans to attack Iran.

What a set piece, same side attacking same side.

  21. But then if a gust of wind could ground a giant ship in the Suez Canal, destabilising an old, unsteady, dementia afflicted patient is as easy as blowing away a feather.
