Lee Hsien Yang - My father's vision for Singapore

Post election and a time for reflection. Following more controversies and personal attacks, Hsien Yang has been forced to open up, to speak up. Hiding in the shadow is not going to work. Just like China, tying its hands behind its back and letting the world's number one gangster country, the USA, to take pot shots and making wild allegations and accusations without doing anything, without hitting back, would not do. The little cronies are watching and inaction is a sign of weakness and an invitation to join the attack of the big gangster.

Hsien Yang confessed that he is a private and shy person and it is unusual, and for good reasons, that he has to speak up now. He cannot hide from the lime light anymore. They would not allow him to do so. His main comment in this opening up is about the vision of Lee Kuan Yew. LKY is a man of vision, just like his fellow comrades. They ate, drank and slept, thinking about how to build a rich Singapore for Singaporeans. I added this last part, for Singaporeans, Hsien Yang did not say it. But I think the pioneer leaders had this in mind, a good life for Singaporeans, not for foreigners. Thinking of building a rich Singapore for foreigners while impoverishing Singaporeans is treason, treachery, a betrayal. This is the key reason why the pioneer generations and merdeka generations went with the PAP and grew out of poverty to build a nation from third world to first world...for Singaporeans. I have to emphasise this as idiots and traitors would find this difficult to understand.

What are the new PAP leaders thinking? Do they have a vision for Singapore... and for Singaporeans? The last part is very important.  Singapore cannot exist not for Singaporeans but for foreigners. National leaders are not the ordinary Ah Beng that made it good, became successful and rich and thinking of how to enrich themselves and their families more, and enjoy life better from their new found wealth.

National leaders must always be thinking about the nation and the people, the citizens, not the locals, not the PRs, and the what nots that happened to be here. The rest are not citizens and not the responsibility of the SINGAPORE govt. They have their own govts to look after them and their interests. Did I make this point clear? National leaders that open and close their mouths talking about looking after foreign nationals, giving them good jobs, taking care of them, are traitors.

If they are the Ah Bengs made rich, please do so, with your own money, not the public's money. The public's money is NOT your money, just like the people's CPF is NOT your money to be used to take care of foreigners.

What is your vision as national leaders? Have you been thinking about it? Or are you thinking and dreaming every day about your million dollar salary, how to make sure it will continue to flow in and how to increase it tomorrow? Have you been thinking about how to look after the well beings of Singaporeans, to make them richer, make their lives better, give them good jobs, not to retrain them to become cleaners, grab drivers and security guards and bringing in more foreigners to take over their good jobs?

What are you thinking as national leaders, the leaders that the citizens voted for you to take care of them, not to take care of foreigners? What are your vision, squeezing more bodies into this piece of rock? Is this your mission as national leaders of this little island? Are you responsible for the unemployment of other country's citizens, and your vision is to solve other country's unemployment problems? Are you responsible to increase the population of mother earth when the conventional truth today is to cut down on population growth? What is the purpose of this island nation, to build more flats to bring in more bodies from around the world to fill them?

Do you have a vision for Singapore and Singaporeans other than getting rich for yourself and buying yourself a bigger GCB or more GCBs and not to affect the quality of life of your families?

  2. Mr Tharman said the aim of both the Government and the opposition must be to serve Singaporeans’ interests through policies that can stand the test of time, rather than gain popularity by telling people what they would like to hear or promising benefits without revealing the costs and making clear who will bear them.

“We have to do more to achieve social justice, but in way that enables it to last - strengthening social mobility; raising the pay of our lowest income workers without risking unemployment; ensuring middle-aged Singaporeans continue to have good careers; giving greater peace of mind to our retirees and being able to sustain the benefits for them over time.

Tharman is the only minister that uses words like Singaporeans and Singaporean interests. The people must take note of politicians that keep talking about bringing in foreigners and looking after the interests of foreigners. Simply vote them out. Their interests are in the foreigners, NOT Singaporeans.

  3. The PAP's unofficial vision is how to fix the opposition. Looking after citizens is not their main vision, least of all those living in opposition wards who are, as they say, are collateral damage material because they voted for an alternative voice.

How much time and resources is spent before each election, to look into past voting patterns in specific areas, and study how to redraw the boundaries to extort the best advantage for the PAP?

How much state money had been used to benefit the PAP, over the upgrading carrot in the past, with residents of upgraded flats being brought down to earth with hard landings when they realized that at the end of all those upgrading, their flat is still going to ground zero?

How much effort and time is spent trying to throw spanners into the work of Town Councils after it is taken over by the opposition?

And how much time and effort is necessary to hatch a plot to bring down opposition leaders using state apparatus? The case against WP in AHTC case must have been thought out over a long period, well-planned and cleverly executed coup with the removal of the few top leaders of the WP, or so the PAP thinks.

I think the WP knows and are well prepared and have been grooming younger leaders to take over. The PAP thinks that removing the top leaders of WP will favour their future endeavors in Hougang and Aljunied, but the plan backfired and is creating a bigger hurdle and digging a bigger hole for them to fill.

  4. Ya, with 10 opposition MPs, they are going to spend a lot of time fixing them instead of looking after Singaporeans.

They include eight community cases, comprising two Singaporeans or permanent residents and six work pass holders, said the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Sunday. PR is foreigner not Singaporean and be classified under FW and wpass. MOH still don't want to change after ge. Gong Gong singaporean still want this type of reporting.bobian.

  6. Singaporeans must make the stand and let the government know in no uncertain terms that all elected Members of Parliament must attend every Parliament Sitting without fail. MPs must no longer take their MP position as part time job. They cannot be MP and at the same time holding many directorship posts in many companies both private and government GLCs (Government Linked Companies). Once elected they must relinquish their director posts in all the companies. Further more the spouses of all ministers and Members of Parliament must not be allowed to hold posts in GLCs or in related government departments, otherwise there will be serious conflict of interests resulting in failing to discharge official duties and thus to the detriment of the country and the people.

    Fair Play

  7. Too little too late.

If Lee Hsien Yang had contested, PSP would have won at least two GRCs.

As he had failed to join in the contest, PAP made use of Bilahari Kau-sio-kan (dog-fucker in Hokkien) to cast aspersions on him, damaging his image and thereby reducing PSP's potential votes marginally. That was enough to prevent PSP from winning any seat.

  8. Permanent residents are not Singapore citizens. They should never be put together with Singaporeans. No country in the world has done such a corrupted/twisted way of depicting statistics.

The Minister for Law should POFMA the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Manpower for reporting FALSEHOOD.

  9. If LHY had contested, West Coast GRC would have fallen and perhaps some others. It could have been a nightmare for the PAP. That PAP attack dog would have to sniff the dust instead of trying to bite.

Now why did he not attack LHY before the election and only after West Coast GRC did not fall? There is obvious malice in his timing. Attack dogs have to take the queue from the master. Had he provoked LHY then, LHY would probably be in the lineup for West Coast GRC and history would have been made. It was regretable that this did not happen, as many true blue Sinkies were waiting in anticipation.

TCB probably had limited time to helm and grow PSP, but perhaps LHY could help to lead PSP hereafter. But then being the person he is, that could be a false hope. But I am still hopeful that PSP will grow into a more successful opposition party in days ahead. Why not? WP did not perish after David Marshall, nor after JBJ. Even after all the fixing!

    They
failed to see the hero they worship started fixing all opponent and dissident even before he became the Sin First Prime Minister. Sign and hint of despotism.
Once the island was given to him by the British, he started to build public housing and resttled all into them. He monopolised conveyance contract for public housing only available to his family owned Lee & Lee Law Firm. Sign and lndication of Greed.
He defended the appointment of his daughter in law to head temasek and kept her salary a state secret. Sign of......
Throughout all his dastard deeds, the pg and mg stay indifferent and even revered the man.

Actually SG vision has already been crafted long time ago by our Founding Fathers & the then PM LKY . It's our Our National Pledge...(..to build a democracy society based on justice & equality..so as to achieve happiness, prosperity & progress for our nation.)
But years of PAPies hanging on to power, these PAPies had Lost Their Way & it becomes like the only happiness, progess & prosperity goes to the Foreigners or new converts Citizens & PR.
Only hope is for the Oppo parties to gain ground & take back what the nations is really is ...Majulah Singapura!

  12. All citizens irrespective of their levels of school, college or university education have the right to participate in politics and stand for election to be elected to the posts of president, ministers and prime minister. The presidency and ministerial posts shall not and must not be construed as the sole domain of the self-proclaimed natural aristocrats where many of whom are more often than not rogues and crooks indulging in self-interests and self aggrandizement. The only essential and indispensable criterion for the post of the president and all ministers should be one of honesty, natural inborn intelligence and inherent great wisdom. All other claims like a candidate need to be highly educated and earn a salary of at least over a million dollars or more are all humbugs and hogwash. In the past many countries in Asia and the world did not have presidents or prime ministers who had college or university education but all the same they did a good job running their countries with intelligence and wisdom by appointing well qualified officials into all government departments. On the contrary how often do we see so called highly qualified ministers with university graduate certificate credentials fall by the wayside with corruption both open and covert and cause the country to deteriorate resulting in great suffering to the country and the people.

Lastly all aspiring politicians and ministers must genuinely have the requisite interest and desire to serve the people and the country and not taking the Parliament as the place where they can make a lot of money to enrich themselves. The pay and salaries of our ministers are far too high and unnatural compare to that of all the countries in the world inclusive of India, England, United States, France, Germany, Japan, China, Indonesia, Russia and Malaysia. They need to be curtailed down considerably by at least 50% to 70% to the more realistic level that is being exercised in all other countries. Politicians must not enrich themselves at the expense of the country and the people. It is sinful and highly unethical and immoral to impoverish the people while piling yourself with wealth, glory and splendour. If you want to make a lot of money get into the business world and invest your own risk and capital and with good luck make lots of money and no one can say anything.

  13. Lee Hsien Yang should not let Bidalari Cowshitkan go scott free for defaming him and his family with wild accusations and disparaging remarks. We Singaporeans are with you, Lee Hsien Yang, you must sue Cowshitkan to keep and maintain your honour, dignity and self-respect.

Cowshitkan is so used to lashing at others with his toxic tongue especially against China and the Chinese people that insulting others has become his second nature.

Singaporeans will not tolerate and allow Cowshitkan to interfere in Lee Kuan Yew's family affairs and stoke fire to set aflame and rekindle the Lee's siblings quarrels and misunderstandings. Shame on you, Cowsshitkan. You are a coward hiding behind somebody's shadow.

  14. LKY's vision? Where he got vision?

He was a pragmatist. A pragmatist is shot-term fire-fighting all the time.

A visionary plans and executes for the long-term, not short-term fire-fighting.

The two cancel each other out.

Where LKY got vision? His vision came from Dr Goh Keng Swee, who was the actual and real architect of modern Singapore.

  16. My Visions If I Were A PAP Leader

Firstly, my vision as a PAP MP is $$$$$.

I visualise how to gain as many as 30 Director posts and make it happen. If each Directorship pays me $30,000 a year, I would get $300,000 more for 10 Directorships, and $600,000 for 20, and $900,000 for 30 Directorships. And I only need to attend one or two Board Meetings a year, basically I go there to rub shoulders, drink beer, have fun and talk cock. Easy money, no work at all.

As PAP MP, I also have the privilege of using funds allocated by the PA (People's Assassination) to me as Grasslooters Advisor for my own political advancement under the guise of improving my constituency and helping constituents. Easy money to kill two birds with one stone.

Further, as a PAP MP, I too have the honour to run the Town Council and make full use of the funds allocated to my Town Council for my personal political adventures and advancement. Easy money again. Same as above.

More, as a PAP MP, I can suka suka absent myself from Parliament sessions - which are only held 4 to 5 times a year. And I can sleep in Parliament if I am too tired because of my chasing around for more and more money for my own family's and my in-laws' families comforts and future.

And I only need to meet the people (MPS) once in two weeks, for two hours each. During these MPS, all my works are done by the slaves and running dogs. Even writing letters and posting letters to various Ministries are done by my balls-carrier side-kicks and cronies. I just sign the letters and walk around looking important.

And when General Elections come, I have NTUC charlies and RC grasslooters to help me do all the dirty works. I just go around shaking hands and put on a pretentious smile once a while for photo-shoots.

And if I have my own business firm or if I happen to work for Temasek Holdings or GIC, I would fight for more foreigners to be employed in my firm, or in Temasek or GIC. I visualise how much money can be saved by employing foreigners instead Singapore kpkb losers.

Secondly, as a PAP Minister. If I happen to be a Minister, "ho say leow"! I don't need to do any work at all. All my works are done by the civil servants. My Permanent Secretary plans and supervise everything. I don't even have to think. All my thinking are done by the scholars Think-Tank in my Ministry. Not forgetting the expensive consultants I employed too.

As PAP Minister, my vision is more $$$ - more than being just an MP. I visualise how to increase my multi-million dollars salaries and 15-month bonuses in various lucrative investments, especially in those that I have insiders information. Who is to know if I don't talk? Who is the wiser? Singapore has no whistleblower lah . Who dares?

Who says PAP MPs and Ministers have no visions?

    1. The above is a typical example of a the then MP of Aljunied GRC Mr Yeo G K who held many directorships in record but got kicked out by the Worker's Party. Continue to used the above visions as a typical MP without a soul of himself but only slaves to $$$ in no time he/she shall meet the nemesis of being kicked out in the erection. Don't take SG voters as kooning as more r waking up from slumber.

    2. Not true leh. Don't talk so big lah. PAP still get 83 MPs leh.

Last parliament PAP only got 82 MPs. Now got one extra leh.

Don't forget, PAP still got 61.24% votes leh. Oppo can't kick out PAP PAP leh. Only voters can kick out PAP lah. You don't talk so big leh.

  17. Examples of COMPLACENCY

SINGAPORE: The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) have apologised for an administrative error that led to a migrant worker being informed of his positive COVID-19 test result three weeks after he was swabbed.

“We apologise for the error and consequent delay in conveying the test results to (the worker) and to his employer. We have since reached out to the employer to explain the situation,” said the ministries in a joint statement in response to CNA's query on Monday (Jul 20).

A resident at Toh Guan Dormitory, identified as Worker A, had his test on Jun 22, but was informed that he tested positive for COVID-19 by the authorities only on Jul 13.

The incident was made known to the public by the worker’s employers, Ms Tsjin Chandra Dolly and Ms Kelly Soh, who made two separate Facebook posts about the issue last week.

In their posts, the two women also said that as of Jul 15, the worker still continued to live in the same room with his 11 other roommates after his positive test.

This was despite being informed by MOH on Jul 13 that the ministry required 24 hours to arrange for the worker to be moved out of the dormitory.

  21. GE2020 - The Majority Of Slaves Hail The King

The 61% of voters (servants or slaves) must have not, in any big way, been affected. They must be enjoying a good life under PAP reign (or ruin) in the last five years.

    GE2020 Results Summary:

Total registered voters = 2,651,435 (51% are women)
    Total turnout of voters = 2,535,565 (95.63%)

    Parliamentary Seats before = 82 PAP, 6 WP + 3 NCMP
    Parliamentary Seats now = 83 PAP, 10 WP + 2 NCMP

    Popular votes:

    PAP = 1,524,781 votes (61.24%).
    WP = 279,245 votes (11.22%)
    PSP = 253,459 votes (10.18%)

    Swing voters:

    PAP decreased by 8.62%
    WP decreased by 1.24%
PSP = New Party gained 9.86% of swing voters from PAP and WP, and another 0.32% of new voters (probably the younger voters), making a total of 10.18%.

    PAP's 61.24% (1,524,781 votes) probably comprise:

    1. Women, especially old aunties (30%),

    2. Admin Service servants (1%)

    3. Civil Servants (5% or 75,000)

    4. Statutory Boards servants (2% or 30,000)

    5. GIC servants (1% or 15,000)

    6. Temasek servants (3% or 45,000)

    7. Mindef and SAF obedient soldiers (4% or 60,000)

    8. Police slaves (1% or 15,000)

    9. Civil Defense slaves (1% or 15,000)

    10. NTUC slaves (5% or 75,000)

    11. People's Ass-ociation slaves and Grass-looters from RCs, CCs, CCCs, TCs (2% or 30,000)

    12. Beholden new citizens, especially CECA Indians who get all the top jobs, high-paying jobs and good comfy and powerful office jobs such as Human Resource Director or Manager (5% or 75,000)

    15. Last but not least, all contractors of PAP Town Councils, Ministries and Statutory Boards (1% or 15,000)

Those categories above account for 61%. The additional 0.24% are probably form those just turned 21 years old, i.e. fresh voters.

    Conclusion

From the above break-downs, rough estimates, one can easily see where the PAP's voters come from. Most of these are either having a good life, sailing together in a beautiful giant luxury cruise ship with the PAP leadership, or they are beholden and dare not rock the boat for fear of getting found out and subsequently sacked or whatever their fate may be.

That is why PAP will always win in any General Election, rule over you forever and ever, until the cows come home or until the bulls shit everywhere.

The only way PAP will collapse is by its own follies - by its own overwhelming weight and absolute Power.

There is always a limit to anything and everything, especially Power. Because Power tend to corrupt and Absolute Power corrupts absolutely. You can easily see that the trend has already arisen, e.g. using the parliament as a personal court to clear oneself of faults, mistakes, misuse or abuse of Power.

In the final analysis, the Power That Be cannot always be the Power Will Be. Nothing is permanent in this Universe. Everything exists in a Cyclic Existential Interdependent Origination. This is The Law of Nature.

All the struggles for Power will come to Naught in the timeline of all civilizations that have existed before, existing now and yet to exist.

Relax, take life easy, enjoy, live and let live; help one another; love one another; being greedy is good but don't be too greedy. Everything carried to the extreme is never good, will always end in unhappiness one way or another.

The slaves are shouting: "Long live the King ......" But the lightning strikes and the thunder roars louder and louder. Soon the slaves' shouting is heard no more ..... Then comes the calm after the storm. Peace is back again. The slaves are liberated. Sad and agonising days are over ..... Ah Peh asks himself, "Am I dreaming?"
