I delivered some Red Bean Soup to a few friends and bumped into the SDP Team preparing for their evening home visit to the residents of Marsiling Yew Tee. They were organised and enthusiastic in volunteering their time to the party, no free transport, no free chicken rice. The mode was optimism, joyful and all for a good cause.

But will majority voters being very scared to accidentally vote PAP out because even WP, let alone SDP, not being ready to be govt ended in, just like previously, total disappointment for them and others, the (as RB had put it) optimism, joy and good cause?
好样!

ReplyDeleteTo show its well organised i would prefer they fall in for inspection before facing the public.
All must have same name tag and colour of trouser must be the same and invest in same standard of track shoes.
Luckily no miniskirt seen so at least it shows that they still have brain.
Important must have a good heart.Got leongsim and not for self interest or $.
Good try and good luck.Happy birthday to all.
In sinkieland, who, which other party, when and where can sinkies witness a GENUINE breakthrough of the current monolithic and autocratic system of a dominant incumbent and a partnering, smallish, self proclaimed First World Parliament but semi-pseudo, semi-yes men, off white light blue clothed alternative?
ReplyDeleteA deserving SG50 birthday gift for long hard pressured and over worked true blue sinkies?
With the tycoons, rich, well-connected, influential, upper-income high class etc being 92% represented and the another about 250,000 to 300,000 represented by a workers-based party, who represent the silent, true blue but majority sinkies?
In the year of SG50, should not such lopsided arrangement be at least marginally tweaked in favour of the silent true blue majority?
While sinkieland celebrates, at the same time it should not treat the silent majority as transparent, daft .......
Hopefully, the silent majority need not wait another 50 years to "have some representative voice in a predominantly autocratic " parliament. ....

It's not surprising that this kong cum kia think and talk like that when more than half of his masters are literally made up of a military junta. After the next GE, mb the composition and concentration of a military junta is likely to go up further ..... think of the potential incoming " locust " of LG, MG, BG ..... etc
With such trend, is it any surprise that this kong cum kia accidentally let the cat out of the bag and spoke his mind about the future treatment of sinkies .....
EveryboLEE must fall in line, wait in eternity to be inspected before they can proceed to their everyday work and chores. ..... and mb even mandated to wear (dog) tags and maoist era uniforms .....?
Help PAP renew its leadership.
ReplyDeleteVote out LHL in GE 2015.
Otherwise you know who will be promoted to Senior Minister after GE 2015.
I'm sick & tired of seeing taxpayers money being wasted this way.
@anon 1152/1119..
ReplyDeleteA standard uniform will shows that its well organised and mean business.Image is important.
Leader may be flexible but members need to be reminded that what they wear to face public has effect on their organisation.
Ah Chin oso must be reminded to avoid miniskirt n wear only those below knee level.
I am giving tips n shd be seen as in the same boat as yours mah.How come many still think I pappist huh:-)
Rules and regulation are written by people, these can be constrained by time and environment and unknown factors!
ReplyDeleteOne analogue of this, some one broke the glass door of MRT allowing ventilation for people trapped inside MRT.
What do you think?
