How to turn friends into enemies the American way

Beginning of the week we heard the Saudis were so angry with the Americans that they were reassessing and realigning their security arrangements to distance themselves from them. And to think that the Saudis have been the staunchest American allies among the Arabs in the Middle East, excluding Israel, must be a cause for concern.

What happened flowing this episode is more astounding. First the Mexicans, than the Brazilians, then the French, followed closely by the Germans, all blooming mad about the Americans spying on the conversations of their leaders. Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff had cancelled an official visit to meet Obama. French President Hollande is reconsidering how to respond to his American threat. German Chancellor Merkel was furious and had called Obama direct on the hotline. This is not how to treat your allies, snooping at their conversations like they were enemies. Obama has assured her that the CIA would stop doing it and not to do it in the future. Quite a comforting thought.

Thanks to Edward Snowden, all the worms of American treachery and betrayal are crawling all over. The ugly Americans and their disregard and disrespect for their allies are making their allies turning red in embarrassment for being treated so badly and dismissively.

No one can destroy the Americans. Only the Americans can do it themselves. The rot and decline have appeared on the surface and looking very ugly. Who else will be next to know that the Americans have been screwing their arses while they were in bed together?

  1. Fuck them, they are all corrupt lah.

Why be friends in the first place? For defence lah. For protecting the wealth of their dictators lah. For massive kick backs from US defense contractors lah. For US Fed bailout lah. To play Wall Street and make money lah.

To me it's just "the gangsters are disagreeing".

    Fuck them all.

  2. Right. If they are not all corrupt themselves, they will never be friends. How could they if their ideals are different? That is why the saying 'birds of a feather flock together' is never far from reality.

  3. It is just another wayang to get Obama out of the way just like Clinton because they are not capable of starting a massive war. Everyone is snooping at each other for donkey years already. This is nothing new.

  4. But it is not a bad thing that China, Europe, Russia and rest of Asia stay away from usa. Their capitalistic model is very harmful to the world.

  8. Since we can't win them why don't we join them? This is exactly happening in many fields and industries. The banking and finance industry is one key area when everyone is joining the crooks in New York to cheat on the ignorant masses, including so called high net worth and sophisticated individuals and unsophisticated funds. Just employ the crooks and cheats and join them to cheat with fraudulent products and systems.

No one will be caught and on one will be responsible. If at all, the banks or institutions will front up and take the rap and pay the billion dollar fines, from the shareholder's funds.

Really? When the Chinese tried snooping into the secrets of the West, a hue and cry erupted from one end of the world to the other. The double standard is there for all to see, clear as daylight.

But, as the saying goes, you snuggle up to the US, you deserve being screwed upside down.
