Hong Lim Park Protest

I just like to have a feel on how many people may be attending the Hong Lim Park Protest on the White Paper. The rally is on Sat 16 Feb 13 at 4.30 pm. The Poll is on the right.

And also click the advertisement for my breakfast. Thank you.

  1. How about another poll?

Since the White Paper, how many PAP voters will now vote for Opposition Parties in GE 2016?

  3. Think of it as a gathering of like minded people for a picnic at hong lim park. Most properly there will be ice cream , cotton candy and pop corn on sale. I hope there will not be questionable elements trying to escalate this events.

  9. Now that the 6.9million paper has been passed, now that the govt has bizness organisations demanding cheap labour, the foreigners will be brought in in the same numbers as before.

The crush will get not just worse, it will be unbearable. Prices will not just rise, they will soar. Taxes will increase to pay for all the infrastructure. 10% GST, $150,000 COE, $10 ERP, $2million for a 5-room HDB flat, $500 C Class wards - here we come.

To help our govt, Sporeans should leave the country.

  10. Anon 6:05 is scare mongering.
Such tactic did not work on Potong Pasir Voters for many Elections. It has not worked at Hougang for as many years.
    And
in the Last One Year, Singaporeans in Aljunied GRC and Punggol East have decided to chuck away the PAP Candidate for a WP Lady Ms Lee Li Lian.
On the Coming 16, not inly people from the afore-mentioned constituencies will come, Singaporeans from all over the Island will be there.

    1. My apology to All:

Missed out a little elaboration on the Aljunied GRC in my Conment Above.
2 Ministers, the Former Foreign Minister George Yeo, Female Minister Lim Hwee Hua and a potential minister candidate Ong Ye Kung were defeated by Workers Party headed by Low Thia Khiang.

The Voters in Aljunied GRC even disregarded a warning by Lee Kuan Yew to vote in the Workers Party Team. Kudos to them for showing us Singaporeans the way.

  14. Hi Mak Yah, welcome to the blog. You brave ya: )

The IB will be here as scaremongers as Patriot has said. Hong Lim Park has been gazetted for such purposes. There is no legality issue. The international media is likely to be there to cover this event. It could be the Singapore Spring that people are waiting for.

Sinkies are very decent people, well educated and first world. Nothing to worry about getting out of control. The people attending are mostly PMETs.

    I will be there.

  20. Hi guys, let's be friendly with one another even if we know some are IBs. Let's welcome the IBs and see what they are told to say here. An IB is easily recognisable. No need to get angry with them. They need to tan chiat also : )

  21. This rally in Hong Lim is really an extention of the natcon on the White Paper and the future of the country. The citizens want to join in the natcon to tell the govt what they think and feel. The govt cannot afford not to listen unless the natcon is all a farce.
