India can continue to gloat about wanting to overtake China as the factory of the world, about its manufacturing prowess, about being the 5th or 6th biggest GDP country. What India really is, is anything but an assembler of goods and products by importing parts from outside India. Nothing is Made in India, oops, other than cow dung. Only the very dense and gullible will believe in the great success stories of India and wanting to take a ride in the Indian growth engine and wanting to make more rupees.
The mobile phones for Apple, Samsung and Xiaomi are all assembled in India, not Made in India. Get it? Assembling parts is NOT manufacturing. The Suzuki March is assembled in India except a few three wheelers made by Tata, the supposedly industrial giant of India that literally makes nothing of its own. India is not a manufacturing hub but an assembly hub. India depends heavily on China and foreign sources for its parts, components, aggregate, precursors and ingredients for all it goods and products. Without the inputs from China, all Indian factories can close shop, unable to make anything. Apple India can also close shop.
Maybe India is right to use the phrase 'Make in India' and not 'Made in India'. A proper phrase should be 'Assembled in India' or Packaged in India. India can continue to spin its beautiful stories to silly countries to invite them to throw their good money in exchange for rupees. The smarter countries have tasted the real India and are avoiding India like a plague. But the fools will keep charging in where angels fear to thread.
India will take many donkey years to be a real manufacturer of goods and products. Where are the Indian made EVs, automobiles and buses, drones, mobile phones, home electronics, laptops, fighter aircraft with engines Made in India, ocean going ships, VLCCs, tunnelling machines, heavy cranes, agricultural machinery, robots, chips etc etc. Oh, the Indian gods are all Made in China.
Until India starts to design and build its own products, India can just crow and crow to the gullible and low thinking to believe in India's growth engine to become a part of the growing world economy. Do not underestimate the power of stupidity and gold plated talents.
Cannot say like that. At the Asian Games in Nagoya, India is on a gold rush and chasing for medals galore according to many Indian Social media sites. There were also lots of song and dance reported whenever India wins a medal. No other country does that more than India, not even China with more than 150 gold medals to date.
ReplyDeleteIf India were to win more than 150 gold medals now, I think the whole social media will be set on fire with all the song and dance. They would probably also be making fun of China for not being top of the lot and that China has failed and is on the downfall in sports in Asia.
Old habits really die hard. The Indians can never shed the habit of boastfulness. I think it is in their DNA, just like some you know who. Even when the Indians know they are not the best, they think that by boasting they are already there. The Asian Games is not Bollywood studios making movies that must include a song and dance in every movie.
I hope this is not going to be interpreted as racism.
I could not see China's downfall in sports like the collapse of China since year 2001. It is unlikely going to happen. Hiccups there will be some of the time like snooker, badminton and table tennis champions losing to lower ranked players occasionally.
DeleteWhy do I say that? Many of China's gold medal winners are very young, some just teens, like 17-year-old Chen Yujie, the new Asian sprint queen, who now holds the Asian Games record of 11.06 seconds in the women's 100-meter dash, and who has many more years left to improve. In swimming, Chinese swimmers are also relatively young, taking over the mantel from the older swimmers. Zhang Zhanshou, the Chinese swimmer is only 18 years old, winning 7 gold medals at the Games and has many more years competing. In diving, China produced divers that are untouchable, year after year, with younger divers taking over the sport from those retiring and still winning the medals at the Games and even the Olympics. Those are not one-time sensations, but consistently at the top of the crop.
To add on Asian Games 2026, in female javelin Yan Ziyi with just only 1 throw of 70.46m it broke the Asian Record leaving others got to throw 6 times but can only achieve 62+ m. Her coach told her no need to throw anymore after achieving the record throw & can wait till the event over to get the hold medal. A crushing achievement of just only 1 hit she can take a rest & observe others throw like hell & she is only 18yo!
DeleteVery soon, they will demonize China's overcapacity to produce athletics and swimmers and demand that China must stop to let others catch up.
DeleteJapan won the gold in table tennis and gloated that China is on the downfall. China won all the rest of the six golds. Does that look like China is falling?
DeleteOne swallow does not a summer make.
Very soon, they will claim Chinese athletes are all robots, lol.
