Trump rejected the possibility of Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, replacing his slain father as supreme leader, dismissing the younger man as a "lightweight".
"I have to be involved in the appointment, like with Delcy," Trump told Axios in an interview, drawing a comparison to Venezuela, where interim president Delcy Rodriguez has cooperated with him under threat of violence after the United States ousted her boss Nicolas Maduro in a military raid.
"Khamenei's son is unacceptable to me. We want someone that will bring harmony and peace to Iran," Trump told the publication, threatening more war in the future if a better alternative was not found. CNA
What kind of statement is this? Who will think this is acceptable, that the Americans shall decide the leader of their country? For sure, this is acceptable to Asean. You will not hear any protest or objection from Asean. The Americans are the de facto father of Asean and Asean leaders would not say no even when principles are involved, when their sovereignty and independence are affected. Just wait, open your eyes and ears to see if any Asean leader would commend about this terrorist position of the Americans.
Trump's success in taking control of Venezuela and its govt must have sent shivers down the spines of Asean leaders. Who in Asean would be next to suffer the fate of Venezuela? Oops, Venezuela is an independent sovereign state, really and truly independent with independent govt, not under the control of the Americans. Just pretend that this is true and all is fine. Delcy is now sleeping with the Americans.
What would happen if China's leader were to make a similar comment? Holy shit, China is so aggressive, interfering and meddling in other country's internal affairs. Protest, cry out loud, headlines in all media to condemn China. But when the American terrorists said it, it is just a normal piece of news. Nothing to cry about. Asean are the pawns and stooges of the American Empire? Asean will accept whatever the American Emperor say or do, dismissively and willingly? The Americans will have a say in who will be our President or PM. It is the American rules based order, Americans rule and decide the order.

I am getting very confused. Modi hugged him and yet how can he do that to India.
