Speaking English is just to communicate, not equal to intelligence

My gosh, Indians always claim that the Indians speak better English than the Chinese and therefore are well loved and in demand by the West. Even in Red Dot, that is the obvious narrative, and Red Dot needs Indian Journalist, with skewed views about China, to write long propaganda sermons demonizing China.

How come China, supposedly poor in English and Chinese leaders refusing to speak in English on the media, but always in Mandarin, now has so many top-rated Chinese Universities among the best in the world, while India cannot even smell the fart in the rankings. What is the use of being able to speak English with an Indian slang that those in the West could not make sense of. Years ago, India was losing call center jobs to the Pinoys, whose English trumped the Indians and were preferred by the Whites. Now both countries are losing jobs in the call center sector to AI. Trump even made a denigrating comment some time ago about an Indian journalist asking a question in English that he claimed he could not understand. I would be embarrassed if I were that journalist.
