Investing in India - Chinese investors should avoid India at all costs

I honestly pity the Indian people but cannot tolerate the boasting by its leaders and some Indians about India being the next global superpower and overtaking China by being the next factory of the world. The state of the country already tells us that it is too lacking in infrastructure development and clearly overly optimistic to keep boasting when people have eyes to see.

Investors have completely avoided India over its opaque policies targeting foreign entities and imposing huge fines using antique regulations just to hijack and get hold of businesses that have been nursed into profitability after operating in India for years. This is a fatal mistake for India. The Chinese have gone through much experience in dealing with India, and now that India is trying to lure Chinese investors, China must exercise extreme caution treading in India. Bad Indian habits die hard and once bitten twice shy should be China's policy.
Why is India deemed a doomed country? India's currency must be among the worst performingChinese investors should avoid India at all costs.
currency in the world today. Of course, the Indians will be angry and choose to differ, as there are countries in Africa doing even worse with their currencies. It is not a good sign to have such a mentality of denial whenever criticism is not in India's favor.

What about India's infrastructure and manufacturing growth? Same old same old boasting about becoming the best there is and the best there will be without the reality to back it up. India still relies on Chinese supply chains, even for factories moving into India like Apple. How can there be a possibility of India overtaking China when basic supply chains are non-existent.

India is yet facing another big problem with AI. China betted on manufacturing, while India betted on services, setting up call and servicing centers for foreign companies. Those jobs are going to be wiped away by AI.

How bad are infrastructures in India has just been exposed at the India Open 2026 Badminton venue, with complaints about bird droppings on court and monkeys sitting with spectators. There were also huge piles of rubbish outside the venue. What ensued was a blaming game erupting among Indian leaders.

How is India going to bid for the 2036 Olympic Games with such venues is unbelievable. This is India's eighth attempt in bidding for the Olympics. Just think how many decades ago the Indians have tried to host the Olympics with even worse infrastructures then existing. Little wonder those attempts were rejected.

Why is India so adamant in bidding for the Olympics 2036. I have a personal theory. Many foreign athletes, just like some badminton players, will undoubtedly avoid going to India, so that means India can win many more gold medals without top contenders participating. India can then also boast about its achievements and be called a sporting superpower like China. Isn't that a great idea?

  1. Chinese investors should treat investments in India like the plague. The trust is gone for good and China has moved on from looking at and bothering with India.

The Indians are still extremely jealous of China's progress, claiming China's industrialization is all because of help from the West. If that were so, why is India so unlike China even with favorable treatment by the USA and the West in the past? In Indian minds, stealing is easier than copying, which is still the mindset and that is what is holding India back. Jealousy does not improve development. Trying to compete does and India has a lot to learn from China.

The Brits were ruling India for almost two hundred years and all the Indians copied were archaic laws and systems that still hang like an albatross on Indian necks. That shows Indians are so backward that they could not learn a single thing from the West except how to steal whole companies set up by foreigners using those archaic laws.

How about the West copying from China that help them in their progress in all fairness? Did not the West adopt the Chinese use of the compass that provided them the tool for naval exploration and colonization? Did not the West make use of the Chinese invention of paper making that was to revolutionize education and the spread of knowledge? Did not the West capitalize on the Chinese invention of paper printing, which was also instrumental in the spread of knowledge and education? And most of all, did not the West saw the gunpowder invention of the Chinese and capitalized on it to produce weapons of destruction, rockets and provided the essential inputs for space exploration?

The above are just the most important Chinese inventions and innovations that helped to improve the world. There are so many other things that the Chinese discovered or invented that the world does not even realize its humble Chinese origin. In all fairness, be objective and not just swallow the propaganda trotted out by the West to demonize China as a thief and copycat.

  2. Sinkieland are very happy to invest in Endia, Tomacsick even setup office there with with ex-Endian Gupta as it head (so money can be easily move around). Even Endia badminton team is sponsored by Development Bank of Sindia. So you see, the Chinese in Sinkieland are very happy to put in more money into Endia, tio bo?

  3. With global investors fleeing India, can Sinkieland be India's savior? Even dumping all the assets and reserves of GIC, Temasek and DBS Singapore into India, it is not even going to move the needle. It will only end up in a blackhole with so much corruption around.

  4. Cannot talk like that about Singapore's super talents. They are the best in the world. When they dumped OPM into India, it must be the cleverest thing to do. The whole world are the stupid ones. You never heard of Singapore losing money investing in India right. So India must be a good place to invest all the OPM.

  5. Sleeping with snakes is one of the most dangerous thing to do. Singapore feels very safe sleeping with the Indians in India. Singapore trust India completely.
