While jobs are being deprived in USA and Europe by cutting off Chinese investments, other countries in the Global South are counting their blessings. While the Global South countries are moving ahead, the USA and its European allies are being left behind.
I have to mention one example of what is happening closer to Asia, with India refusing to allow BYD to build a factory in India. BYD decided instead built its factory in Pakistan, a tight slap on Modi's face. Now who is benefiting from BYD's investment? Play stupid games and get stupid prizes is what India is doing. India needs jobs, plenty of it. Now the Indian rupee is at all-time low and India is going to be a basket case in time to come.
How much longer can Modi hope to sell his snake oil is anybody's guess. But the damage has already been done and knowing how Indians do things, it will take generations to put things in order, provided India gets a good leader to replace him. With all the corruption rampant in its top leaders today, things do not look optimistic even if they try to drain the swamp. Someone else tried draining its swamp, but is making it even swampier, LOL.

ReplyDeleteAs I commented earlier, the Epstein Files have been scrubbed and sanitized and now released in its sanitized version. Pages and passages have been blacked out, images as well, and what is left is just what had already been fed by and speculated on by social media. All the clown show going on has been to save the reputation of Trump and other elites, nothing else.
To add to the ridiculous rigmarole of the whole affair, Bill Clinton has now been moved into central position for stone casting, the central figure in all the demonization, pushing public attention away from Trump. We already knew Prince Andrew was the prime scapegoat before and using him now has lost its effect. Now Bill Clinton is the target and the other elite perpetrators, including Trump are escaping scrutiny and attention for now.
That, by the way is how USA media works. It never varies and it is the norm.
I am sure the USA and India are not going to claim that China is stealing their jobs. They made the mistakes and always blame others.
