The delusional American twits still cannot see or understand that their dominance over the world is declining and shrinking. Their control of world trade is now just a small fraction of what they used to be. China's share of the world trade is now many times bigger than the Americans. Every aggressive sanction or export control by the Americans is self destructing. The twits in Washington are killing the American chips manufacturers that otherwise could bring in huge revenues to America. Nvidia's market share in China is now zero. And this will be the same for other chip manufacturers like Intel, AMD, Qualcomm etc etc. They will face the same fate as Nvidia. Chips are about the only thing that China is still buying in large quantities from America. When this product is out of the trade equation, American trade deficit with China can only go one way, up.
The Americans are not killing the American companies alone. ASML and now Nexperia are as good as history. The automobile industries in America and Europe too will be history. Who is going to buy antique ICE vehicles when EVs are better and cheaper in every aspect, even in performance? The European giants like VW, Audi, BMW and Mercedes would now need to have joint ventures with Chinese EV makers to survive. Under American pressure not to work with Chinese companies would put an end to these automobile makers faster than normal. The American twits will destroy the European companies and economies in double quick time when they forced the spineless Europeans to go against China.
Other than some aircraft engines that China is still buying for its Comac 919 aircraft, there is nothing of value that China needs from America. Both American aircraft engines and chips would soon be not wanted in China. China will manufacture its own and become self sufficient from the Americans, no more threats or sanctions from the Americans. As for other goods, especially food and agricultural products, oil and gas, China can get them elsewhere, cheaper and better. In a matter of days, China would not need to buy anything from America. Period.
On the contrary, Americans cannot do away with buying from China. America is highly dependent on China for many products, components and parts for manufacturing that only China can offer in greater quantity and quality and in cheaper cost. Trade between China and America would be one way, America buys and China sells. China will then be calling the shot, imposing sanctions and export controls against America if the American gangsters misbehaved. No more cheap and good consumer items, apparel, shoes, household gadgets for America. Walmart and other super marts would have nothing to sell. America making their own, ... good luck to that.
When China is self sufficient, this is coming soon, being forced to expedite by the Washington twits, America can survive on its own, in its own island, making products for its own needs at many times the cost of Chinese products. And they cannot sell to China or to the world, uncompetitive, too expensive and costly. The big chips manufacturers would have no room to grow without the Chinese market to absorb their overcapacity. They can only sell inside America or maybe Europe. On the other hand, China would be selling everything to the whole world at very competitive prices and very good quality.
Europe may have to choose to stick with America and pay through their nose for everything, or join the BRICS camp and sell to the world. Without China's supply chain, Europe cannot make things cheaper than China and would also not be able to sell anything to the rest of the world. And without China, they cannot compete in the American market with the American first policies. Europe will be hung high and dry.
China will flood the world with its overcapacity for all kinds of goods, quality goods at bargain prices to price out American and European goods. The world would be divided, America in isolation or with the European states on one side and the rest of the world on the other. There will be an international trading system led by BRICS when everything will be better and cheaper, free trade among nation states. And there will be another led by the Americans, very expensive products that the world cannot afford to buy, did not want to buy because of their lower quality, a world of the white men amusing themselves in their own fantasies driving their crazy ICE automobiles to pollute the world.
The world will be divided, caveat, the white savages could resort to war to want to take control of the world again, to recolonise the world and have their empires as in the past. A self sufficient China will be a blessing for the rest of the world, with real world peace, free trade, and abundance and better quality of life for all, excluding the white savages.
China seriously wants to decouple, not just from the USA but also from the EU. I think the earlier the better. But the USA and EU are using the term 'de-risking', not de-coupling, as they know that decoupling hurts them more than China.
ReplyDeleteThe EU's action against Chinese EVs have also ignited retaliatory moves by China. China is cutting off pork imports from the EU, citing dumping, which is hitting the farmers in Europe the same way as the soya bean farmers in USA. And who is making a beeline all the way to the Chinese pork market? The Russians are taking over a large portion of the Chinese pork import market, helping its economy and helping de-dollarization as well. What are being friends and members of BRICS for anyway? Enemies are not to be treated the same way as friends. To be an enemy of China is fatal, to be its friend is beneficial.
China is also targeting EU brandy, citing its move as against subsidies by Governments in Europe, mirroring the EUs move against Chinese EVs for the same reason. What is sauce for the goose is now sauce for the gander. The sword can cut both ways.
