According to some western reports, India's military power is ranked number three in the world, behind the USA and Russia. China is ranked number four. The likely reason for this ranking is that India's western made weapons are better and more superior to China's indigenous weapons, poor quality and near junk status.
In all American wargames, the Americans always used the same input that one American aircraft can take down 5 Chinese aircraft because of their superior made and quality. India also believes in this formula, claiming that one Rafale is as good as five J20s. Therefore, overall, India should be ranked higher than China in military power.
With the new battle proven data in the India Pakistan War, this formula of treating the Chinese weapons, especially aircraft as junks is likely to be adjusted, but still in favour of the branded western weapons.
