China and Russia set a trap...and Trump crawls into it

Some social media sites are saying that China and Russia set a trap that the USA and West have now fallen into. What is the trap they are talking about?

The trap is the setting up of BRICS, whose existence is forcing the USA and the West to target even neutral countries like Brazil and Mexico that formerly were close to the West. Now Trump is picking up a trade war against Mexico and facing retaliation.

With Trump threatening to raise tariffs against countries that are following the de-dollarization move, which means following the BRICS footstep, it is going to make those countries isolate themselves from the USA if tariffs were to be implemented by Trump. More countries will fall out of the USA influence under Trump's tariff plan. The more Trump tries to strangle countries, the more benefit will be reaped by BRICS and the faster will de-dollarization move forward. Trump is in fact helping China and Russia to fulfil their de-dollarization agenda.

Common beans are realizing the consequence of Trump's tariff moves, while seasoned analysts and advisors to the Western Governments are not taking up the cue. Of course, when they elect a clown to run the country, they can only get a circus, nothing more.

  1. The more countries that Trump's tariffs target, the better it is for BRICS.

Just like the more sanctions the EU imposed on Russia, the better for China. Russia just has to divert more of their oil, gas and agricultural products to China and China, in turn, sells more EVs and consumer products to Russia, and the beauty of this arrangement is doing it all in their own currencies, not US$.

Another bonanza that Chinese investors reaped in Russia quietly after the Ukraine War, was being able to take over the void left by the Western businesses - the factories, the market and wowing the Russian customers. Everything is given to the Chinese on a platter, just like in Afghanistan, with all the weapons now in Taliban hands. Should I dare say, those were all godsend items that they could never imagine will ever fall into their hands.

China just gave the bulk of their pork orders to Russia, ditching the EU. The EU wants to have a trade war with China, and they got it, faster in fact, with the EU tariffs imposition on Chinese EVs. Russia is also cutting down on energy supplies to the EU to give them a really cold winter experience and a big energy bill. The EU is still trying to flog a dying horse by imposing more sanctions on Russia. Talk about cutting the nose to spite the face!

  2. The European and American farmers are very happy. They never complain right?
They must be celebrating for having so much pork, corn, soya beans etc etc to eat for Christmas. Don't have to sell to China. Maybe can sell to Singapore.

  5. Trump Tries to Trap China’s Xi Jinping to Suffer at his Inauguration

US President-elect Donald Trump has invited Chinese President Xi Jinping to attend his inauguration next month, CBS reported, citing multiple sources.

Xi’s attendance, however, would be unprecedented: No Chinese leader has ever joined an inauguration ceremony of the US president, which is typically attended by ambassadors. No foreign head of state has attended one in more than a century, according to State Department records going back to 1874.

There would also be huge risks to Xi for attending, as well as the potential discomfort of sitting outside for hours on a cold January day in Washington. Low temperatures during President Joe Biden’s 2021 inauguration generated memes of politicians such as Senator Bernie Sanders, who sat huddled in a thick jacket. Moreover, Trump regularly goes off-script during public speeches, making surprise announcements and even jokes that sometimes don’t land.

An annoyed China’s Foreign Ministry didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
