Americans had to compromise with India to deal with China

 USA and the EU still believe their sanctions are working. Even the Europeans are still buying Russia oil on the sly and are just pretending to cut themselves off from Russian energy. Who is fooling whom? And most of all, India is buying Russian oil and helping Russia in its war effort as well. The USA tried to force China to end support for Russia in trade, while a large gaping loophole already existed with India.

Why does the USA tolerate India going against the sanctions? The USA is caught between a rock and a hard place, needing India to counter China. Had that not been so, India would now be demonized not just by Canada, but by the whole Anglo-Saxon clique. Most of the doggies are just waiting for permission from the USA to attack India. If the USA shouts attack, the doggies will ask whether to go for the neck or just the leg.

Two of the USA's attack dogs, Japan and South Korea are already growling fiercely at North Korea over its missile test and its troops in Russia. We can expect more noises, but Kim Jong Un does not care two hoots about what they do.
