Great that Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam now
partners of BRICS and in time becoming full members. I think Putin is
being extremely cautious now about wholesales acceptance of BRICS's
membership and is taking a longer period to judge countries based on
their longer-term behavior and loyalty stance in the interim.
If
I am not wrong, there are now 13 countries accepted as partners of
BRICS, all potential members. I believe they have been vetted as worthy
to be partners in BRICS and becoming full members in time.
Just
letting in one Trojan Horse can be devastating for the group. By the
way, I may be wrong, but I think India is beginning to realize that its
loyalty to BRICS is more important for India and is now supporting the
expansion of BRICS. The willingness of Modi to talk to Xi regarding the
border issue is a step in the right direction and is making the West
paranoid and nervous. The USA had been putting pressure on India
recently, using its attack dog, Canada, to stir shit. India realizes
that enough is enough. India is still in the QUAD and needs to show its
sincere loyalty to one side only.

Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam have huge potential for further growth given the right leadership and less outside instigation. The hope is that ASEAN does not fall to the dark side like Europe. When that happens, ASEAN will be asked to sacrifice for the interest of the USA like the Europeans. When the devil enters the house, chaos and destruction is bound to follow.
ReplyDeleteDumb countries that have suffered under the yolk of colonization and still wants to have a repeat of that just like the Philippines deserves no sympathy. What has the USA done for the Philippines other than instigating a conflict with China that will not do the Philippines any good.
Even the Africans have now realized they have to steer away from the West that have not done anything to improve the lives of Africans other than stealing their resources for centuries. Enough is enough for them. Most have thrown out the Ango-Saxon colonizers. Some Dictators are understandably still sleeping with the Whites and exploiting the country. They will not last for long, when the people start to see the progress that neighbors free from colonization are enjoying great infrastructures, ports, railways and airports that they envy.
The good sign is that the sensible leaders in ASEAN would not allow Mickey Marcos to drag them into a war like American doggies, dying for the American Empire.
ReplyDeleteThe USA understandably hates strong leaders. The military leaders of Myanmar and formerly of Thailand are no pushovers. That is why the USA keeps instigating the ground in Myanmar and Thailand, using the CIA and USA funded NGOs for a regime change. They succeeded in Thailand already, with even the monarchy, that had been instrumental in keeping Thailand a closely-knit country, now in danger of losing the stabilizing force, that will suit the agenda of foreign intervention into its internal affairs.
DeleteSuffice to say, Putin and Xi are strong leaders that the USA also hates. LKY and Mahathir are also strong leaders able to stand up to the USA. Credit should be given where it is due.
The good thing is that BRICS is expanding, never mind at a slow pace. The best things that come out of any change are always slow at first. More haste means less speed and unreliability. De-dollarization does not mean creating chaos and uncertainties. There are issues to sort out, tested and implemented.
DeleteTake China for example. China thinks decades ahead, bet on the path it had chosen, secure what is needed before implementing policies to get hold of what is necessary to succeed. And succeed it did.
