Israel is a rogue regime supported by the Americans and the West at all costs

A former Senior Advisor to Iran’s Nuclear Negotiation Team, who has worked closely with the new Foreign Minister of the country, says: “Iran will definitely retaliate – it’s inevitable and necessary”. Prof. Mohammad Marandi adds that: “The wrath of Iran is very much real”. He says without responding Iran won’t be safe. Prof. Marandi says: “The Israeli regime is a rogue regime”, which the West supports regardless of this fact and regardless of what Israel has done to the Palestinian people.

In a 35-minute interview to Karan Thapar for The Wire, Prof. Mohammad Marandi, who is also a Professor of English Literature and Orientalism at the University of Tehran, is questioned at length about the nature and character of the response Iran could carry out as well as the costs to Tehran of doing so.

The interviewer, Karan, was trying to tell the Iranians, just accept your fate, don't respond, it is futile. The Americans and the Israelis can do anything they want to Iran and Iran cannot do anything, must not do anything.

  2. Even as a rogue regime, how long can Israel last if fighting a prolonged war? The mother of all rogues, the USA could not even outlast the Taliban despite all the weaponry and expertise.

Moreover, Israel is not just fighting on country, Iran. There are other Middle East Islamic States having axes to grind with Israel. Western support for Ukraine is almost bankrupting the West. How long can they support Israel? Forever?

  3. This is assuming that Iran has no support. There is Russia and China to count on. And BRICS has not yet become a military alliance. which I believe will come to fruition later on.
