If China can tame the big Japanese and South Korean
tigers, and all the other smaller tigers, which other global tiger is
China afraid of?
The biggest revelation about China's rise is
that it has an all-round domination in almost all sectors of global
activity, not just particular sectors, which is not found in other
countries like Japan, South Korea, Germany or the USA. And the
domination extends even to essential raw materials in the ground and up
to the facilities to extract and refine them for use.
China not
only is dominating in consumer products like EVs, renewable energy
equipment like solar panels and wind turbines, but also in shipbuilding,
in drone technology, in space exploration, in telecommunication like
5G. How dominant China has become in military hardware and digital
warfare is not well defined or exposed, but certainly not a stagnant
sector. China is intending to dominate semiconductors and airplanes
going forward. The signs are there, and it is a warning that the West
needs to take note.
The USA and the West can continue to
downplay Chinese developments and achievements, like the Huawei Pura 70
phone, and delegate China's military hardware as mere junks. What is
junk and not junk is clearly displayed in the Ukraine and Middle East
Wars, with DJI drones being preferred to multi-million dollars reaper
drones made by the USA. Looking down on China and denigrating China is
not a wise move, as what happened over the last three decades.

PS. China is leading in 6G and Quantum technology. These two tech would change the whole world and make the current operating systems all obsolete.
China did not use the same tactics employed by the USA to put down competitors using trump up charges. Companies like Toshiba and Alstom were decimated by the USA using underhand tactics to keep them down. The USA tried to do the same to Huawei and stirred up a hornet's nest in the process. The USA is now feeling the sting from Huawei and also hurting Apple in the process. They should have left Huawei alone.
ReplyDeleteNow the USA is going after TikTok and BYD, to put them down as well. The USA does not know how to compete anymore, and the only way they know of is using underhand tactics to win by hitting below the belt.
China does not have to resort to hitting below the belt to take down others. China took up challenges and compete with its peers on a level playing field. That is why China has managed to grow so fast in innovation. Necessity is the mother of invention holds true. Lack of competition stifles innovation.
SPOT ON!!
