As I always say, destroy the US$ hegemony and the USA will lose its
military power as well. Right now, it can maintain its miliary bases by
just printing money, deficit spending as some call it. Now such spending
is going out of control, creating problems for the rest of the world,
sucking in US$ worldwide and causing other currencies to tank, like the
Japanese Yen.
The British Empire collapsed because it could not
keep up with the financial burden of maintaining its miliary and
administrative spending just protecting its interest all over the world.
And even during those years other countries were making no effort to
destroy the British pound. It was not used as a weapon. Still, without
the ability to maintain its empire, it collapsed upon itself. The UK is
now just a shadow of its glory days. Today, the world cares two hoots
about the UK despite its efforts of still trying to scare others with
bathtubs that are not even seaworthy.
Now, there are so many
countries coming together to destroy the US$ hegemony, with BRICS
providing the cover under powerhouse Russia and China. These countries
knew that the US$ hegemony is an evil that cannot be allowed to continue
to be used to control the world through its escalating weaponization.
For such countries to do de-dollarization alone, they would long have
ended up like Iraq and Syria, destroyed by the USA.
BRICS stands
for de-dollarization clear and simple. Big and small countries are
finding the courage to join of BRICS and getting protection by the big
powers like Russia and China. Calling BRICS as just a economic bloc and
not a military bloc is a very wise move.

The USA is digging its own grave. After having forced the Russians to form an alliance with China, it is forcing Iran and other Middle East countries to do the same thing. Africa is not theirs to dictate to anymore. So are the South Americans. Now they are making the Middle East Muslim countries take a stand.
ReplyDeleteBRICS is not doing any military confrontation with the USA. It is an economic alliance, with de-dollarization its main objective. BRICS is not out to destroy the US$ as they claimed, as the US$ is too integrated in its Global reach, but to marginalize it and have an alternative for global trade. And most importantly to counter its weaponization usage, that is getting more ridiculous and outlandish.
The USA and the West have been talking for a long time about confiscating Russian assets in Western banks. The consequences of doing that is immense and they have not done so for fear of the backlash. Russia is not without any means to retaliate against that move. Western assets inside Russia are said to be as much as US$290 billion, which Russia can also seize. That will cause a massive outcry by Western parties having such assets seized by Russia. And Western Governments have a lot to answer for that.
Such a move against Russian assets is bound to also influence Global investments in its treasuries and bonds. Who would want to invest in such assets knowing they can be seized at the whims and fancies of the USA? It is suicidal to make such a move.
Similarly, Western assets in China are also immense and can be an insurance for China in case things gets out of hand. The global economy is so intertwined that what one party can take advantage of, the other side too can do the same. Alls fair in love and war, or so they say.
There is no such thing as the US$ hegemony will not fall. It is just a matter of time.
ReplyDeleteHow it is going to fall is the question. Will it be external forces or internal forces leading to its fall. Will it be financial or military forces that will lead to its fall.
Unless they are going to claim using the 'too big to fail' argument and hoping some higher forces or aliens will save them.
