American coercion destroying allies, cronies and killing chip companies

The Americans have used a sledgehammer to coerce all its allies to go against China, sanction Chinese companies, withdraw from BRI, stop using Huawei's 5G communication system etc etc. The only American ally that the Americans did not coerce is Singapore. Singapore has publicly said this and only acts on the basis of law and principles. Oops, India is also an exception, making its foreign and trade policies independently based on the interest of India.

The impact of American coercion is hurting European countries very seriously with Germany, the biggest European economy now in recession, suffering severely from the American bombing of its lifeline, the Nord Stream pipeline and cannot complain or blame the Americans. Germany is now the pathetic little crony of the Americans, meekly doing everything the Americans ordered against its national interests, unable to say no to the Americans. Its automobile industry, highly integrated with China also took a hammering and starting to shrink and becoming less competitive.

Poor Italy has been coerced to withdraw from the BRI, undermining Chinese investment in Italy and Italian port. UK had been forced to terminate its installation of Huawei's 5G network, so did Germany, France, Italy and several other European states, and has to live with outdated and slow 4G system, now behind African and Middle Eastern states that are now using 5G networks. Not only that, UK, France and Germany would have to pay Huawei billions for cancelling agreements and for dismantling Huawei installed equipment. This is not a small sum to pay.

The rest of the European countries have been coerced to cough out money and blood to the detriment of their national interests and national reserves. Oops, Netherlands would pay heavily for losing its dominance in DUV and EUV lithography machines, not only unable to sell anymore to China, but would not be able to sell to the rest of the world when China starts to sell cheaper and better machines that it has developed. ASML is heading for bankruptcy and the Dutch economy will go tail spinning. Japan's lithography machine makers also would lose the Chinese market.

Simply put, all the European states are now falling over the cliff because of American pressure, and many would go into recession and bankruptcy. Thank you America for the coercion, and good riddance to the European cronies of the evil American Empire. They deserved their fate to head to oblivion for cooperating with the Americans to attack China. No, they are not that innocent. They willingly go along with the Americans against China, thinking that the sanctions and decoupling would destroy the Chinese economy quickly and they can return to dominate the Chinese market.

In the industries, the most badly hit companies would be the chip makers and related industries like mobile phones and software companies. Because of American sanctions and trade wars, China has developed its own products and systems and is now self sufficient in all these fields. Without the Chinese market, and with China competing with them in the international markets, Qualcomm, Intel, AMD, Nvidia, TSMC, Samsung, Apple, Google, would see their market shares collapse completely.  Some would become like Nokia and other American and European companies that have become history.

The fallout did not only be limited to the high tech industries. Producers of food and raw material, natural resources would also be hung high and dry. The farmers of soya beans, vegetable oil, meat and fish in the USA would not be spared. Australia would never see the growth and easy money it used to have when it was trading freely with China. Many Australian companies, the iron ore and coal, the vineyards, the lobsters and marine industry would also face the same fate.

Thank you America, thank you clowns in the White House and Washington, keep on coercing your allies and crony states to sanction China, decouple with China, refusing to trade and cooperate with China, and your days will be numbered.

America is a free country, supporting freedom and free trade, never coerce its allies and cronies? What a silly myth. When the allies and cronies finally wake up and break free from the American coercion, the war is over and they would be limp, crippled and maimed for good, if they did not die in the process. Fighting against your biggest trading partner, against the world's factory producing all the goods you need at competitive prices, against the world's biggest consumer market is idiocy at the highest level.

No, they were not idiots, but being coerced and threatened by the Americans to do the bidding of the Americans and to be thrown under the bus by the Americans. They have equal responsibility for their own suffering and still pretending that the Americans did not coerce them, forced to choose sides, but continue to blame China for forcing them to choose side, to influence their national policies. China is to be blamed for their predicament? They can only lie to themselves. For they know who is the real devil but cannot say it out loud.

In the mean time, Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, Latin America, will surge ahead in all fields and enterprises, to rise above the Americans and the Europeans in economic development and standard of living.

PS. Europe could  be enjoying peace and growth, but they chose to believe the evil American lie that Russia is going to invade them and plunged themselves into a stupid and unnecessary war in Ukraine with Russia. And now living in their own self created nightmare that Russia is coming by continuing to provoke Russia. These stupid warmongers, despite being rich, cannot evolved above their primitive instinct for wars and killings. Just because they are savages wearing suit and ties does not mean others are warlike like them. Without these white savages, Asia is having peace.

The white savages want to live by the sword, they would die by the sword.

  1. The hubris trotted out by the West that Russia is out to expand its territory is just plain propaganda to continue their war mongering agenda. Putin asked the question - 'Why would Russia need more land when it is already occupying such a huge land mass, most of it uninhabited and immensely rich in resources?'

Russia is not in Ukraine for the land grab. Russia is in Ukraine to prevent the encroachment of Nato towards its border and also to protect Russian speaking Ukrainians living in the Donbass region, that have been suffering the blatant genocide attempts by the Kyiv Government since 2014. Eight years of terror by Kyiv could no longer be tolerated by Putin.

If Ukraine falls to Nato expansion, it affords the USA the opportunity to station nuclear long range missiles closer to Moscow, which any sensible leader would not tolerate. The vile intention was all there and revealed by Angela Merkel, who pointed out that the Minsk Agreement in 2014 was all a ploy to buy time for Ukraine to upgrade its military logistics to take on Russia, just in case its entry into Nato is on the cards. Russia made that completely clear that Ukraine's entry into Nato is its 'Red Line' that Ukraine must not cross.

What went on since 2014 revealed the USA and Nato's dead set intent to expand Nato towards the Russian border. Ukraine is not an important ally for the USA like Germany, but for the strategic purpose of confronting Russia, the USA is playing for keeps to support Ukraine's Nato entry. And that would have been worse if Ukraine in Nato were to control all of Eastern Ukraine, and thus also part of the Black Sea, posing a direct threat to Russia's Black Sea naval facilities, with USA submarines and warships loitering freely in the region.

The stakes for Russia are high and it needs to protect all its interest. A land grab as propagandised by the West is just 'a red herring' argument of no logical justification.

  2. The USA destroys everybody - cronies, allies and friends alike just to serve its own interest. Those countries that thinks any alliance with the USA to confront Russia or China is for their benefit, better clear their clouded minds, and remove those blinkers erected in front of their eyes. That does give credence to Henry Kissinger's warning true to form that being a friend of the USA always ends in fatality.

To prove it, the USA is destroying the EU, forcing Nato to confront Russia to serve the interest of the USA. Germany, France and others, most of which had for decades been enjoying cheap Russian energy to run their industries and grew their manufacturing base are now suffering in silence. Now, they are all going to the dogs, with Germany already in recession. With the biggest economy in Europe in such dire straits, no need to say in what state are the rest of the EU countries.

Now, the USA is not only making life miserable for countries to confront China, it is even making life intolerable for USA companies and those of its cronies doing business in China. The USA even had the cheek to warn China not to target USA companies doing business in China while it keeps erecting hurdles against Chinese companies in USA. Now the EU is jumping on the bandwagon and talking about investigating subsidies by China for its EV being sold in Europe. Who is behind all this? Why are they not talking about the US$52 billion subsidies extended to USA chip makers in Arizona? This was broached and protested against by the EU after the subsidies were announced by the USA, but seems to have died down without a whimper being heard from the Europeans.

The USA and the West had all along been thinking that China was too weak and highly dependent on Western chipmakers to retaliate against their high handed Mafia tactics of castigating Chinese companies like mobile phone and communication equipment maker Huawei, drone maker BJI and now going against EV maker BYD and also Tik Tok. These are companies that are competing so well against Western companies that they needed to be stopped. They assume that these are companies like Toshiba and Alstom that could be stepped upon without Japan or France raising a finger in protest.

Now China is not taking all this lying down, taking the initiative to retaliate, starting from Trump's trade war. Fancy telling the Chinese not to retaliate and just let them slap the right cheek and even wanting China to give them the left cheek to slap as well. China knows it is now time and is almost capable of overcoming dependence on the West in the last bastion of the Chips business and confident enough to take a stand.

China still holds the cards in the technology supply chain, with its control of the rare earth resources and refining expertise. And like Russia in Ukraine, China has still lots of cards to play with, if the USA and the West wants to escalate the tech war.

  3. Sg should forget the F35 fighter jets and instead buy J20 Fighter Jet. Many experts had conclude that F35 got many defects, it also depend on rare earth from China, and may not be able to produce enough for USA own use. With so many uncertainty, SG should cancel all orders and ask for the return of deposits.. Don't act like Taiwan, which paid up front for the purchase of many military equipment years ago and delivery still pending.

  4. In Sep 2023, a US$100 millions F35 went independent and auto ejected its master pilot out. It went cruising freely in South Carolina and decided to crash into Indian Town mile away. The 47 years old Pilot need to call 911 for help. This is USA, even F35 jet got right of Independent.LOL.

  5. The F35s are as stealth as the elephant in the room.

Now it is also capable of exercising its right to freedom of action to act, ejecting the pilot when he is naughty in the cockpit.

  6. Hope they send F35s to Ukraine. Russia shoots one down and it is game over for the F35s long touted superiority complex. F35s had a long history of problems.

The USA is now selling its 6th generation fighter jets, the NGAD, which costs even more, two to three times more than the F35s. Don't think it can compete at such a price. And they have to hype up its capabilities to command such a price. But still some will buy for prestige and bragging rights, nothing else.

Russian and Chinese 6th generation fighter jets are still much more affordable, more bang for the bucks they say. Russian bybrid Su and MIG 6th generation fighter jets and the Chinese J28 are just as revolutionary as the USA 6th generation version.

  7. Some crony states would be forced and coerced to buy as protection money for the evil American Empire. And after paying the protection money, they can park the aircraft in the USA as a toy to have some fun with once a while. The toys would be de facto American properties.

Can see, can touch, but cannot bring home.

  8. Chuck Schumer is leading a senate delegation to China to scold China about human rights, to tell China to treat American companies fairly while the Americans can treat Chinese companies unfairly, and to tell Xi Jinping that the USA is the boss, the leader of the world.

Would Xi be stupid enough to meet Schumer and let him scold and lecture him in Beijing?
