The Japanese are concentrating on 'tritium' and
obfuscating all the other dangerous traces of radioactive elements
present in the contaminated Fukushima wastewater released into the
ocean, such as Strontium 90 and Cesium 137.
Tritium in nuclear
wastewater is frequently released by most nuclear power plants into the
sea and the Japanese are harping on it just to muddy the waters,
claiming that China also released nuclear wastewater containing
'tritium' into the ocean.
Two important things are however not
touched upon. Nuclear cooling wastewater from nuclear power plants are
basically cooling water that are not in contact with the fuel rods and
other highly toxic areas around the power plant. The waste water from
Fukishima, on the other hand, are collected from the plant after having
been in contact with highly contaminated radioactive toxic materials,
and are multiple time more toxic than mainly cooling wastewater. This
has never been talked about.

PS. Be warned. The USA and Australia have banned Japanese food products. Japanese cronies South Korea and Taiwan have also started to ban Japanese food products. The whole world should ban Japanese seafood for one year. During this one year, Japan should eat its own seafood to prove that they are safe. South Korea and Taiwan can help the Japanese to buy and eat Japanese seafood and the world would monitor their health as well.
There will probably be a Special Bonanza of 'Fresh Catch' at Japanese 24hr outlets in Sinkieland.
ReplyDeleteDaft Sinkies will be slivating in the queue to take advantage of added flavours of "Stontium and Cesium" in the Sushi and Sashimi which is banned in Australia,China,Taiwan,USA and South Korea. How fortunate Sinkieland is, benefiting from the what is banned elsewhere!
And yet, a USA envoy came out days ago to criticise China for banning Japanese seafood imports. China should go further and ban all foodstuff from Japan as the link from seafood goes much further than just eating fish from Japan alone. USA Ambassador Rahm Emmanuel even visited a city in Fukishima just to eat fish and fruits on August 31. What is he trying to prove? That he is a hero? Paradoxically the USA had already banned Japanese foodstuff, which must have included seafood, much earlier itself, over radiation fears, and as Putin said, the USA will criticise others for things it had been doing itself before others. The USA leaders think the rest of the world are silly, uninformed and dumb, like their own voters.
ReplyDeleteSaying that the earlier ban by the USA is restrictied only to foodstuff from certain areas of Japan, where investigations carried out on those foodstuff, indicated radiation levels hundreds of times above safety limits, which is not a revelation of comfort for others. Those import restrictions were later hurriedly removed, possibly trying to pave a way for Japan to embark on carrying out its intention to release the Fukushima wastewater into the ocean, which had been piling up uncontrollaby. The Japanese intention had already been talked about since 2021, and they only waited for the rubber stamp of approval by the IAEA, which in turn needed the go ahead by the USA for sure. Which the Japanese were betting on to silence critics with those connections.
It does not detract from the fact that the USA had long found issues with those foodstuff from Japan and imposed the ban, undoubtedly only to lift it to facilitate Japan's wish to release those wastewater into the ocean. Radiation issues cannot realistically and suddenly disappear overnight and food becomes safe like magic. It takes decades, even centuries to clear.
Just look at Chenobyl, which is still problematically leaking radiation dangerously after more than three decades encased in concrete. And look at the testing ground in the Pacific Ocean, eg Bikini Island now feared to be leaking radioactive substances into the ocean from all those nuclear tests conducted by the West. This attempt to whitewash the release of radioactive water into the ocean is absolutely an irresponsible and unimaginably ridiculous plot full of holes.
So, looking at the issue now, the USA, by lifting the ban on import of Japanese foodstuff which includes seafood earlier, is ostensibly an attempt to help the Japanese food industry to weather the storm, but indirectly is telling USA citizens that they can die, which is their own business, but helping Japan is paramount. This is not much different from USA senators caring more for Ukraine than Hawaiian people after their children, homes and businesses were burnt to a crisp, or USA citizens living on the streets while billions were sent to aid Ukraine. Good luck to the USA people.
By the way, the German Government is predicatably following the USA, with Annalena Bearbock, the German Foreign Minister, openly telling her people that Ukraine is more important than them. Good luck to the German people as well.
The real USA Government ie Deep State, does not feel threatened, no matter which party the people voted, because whoever sits in the White House is still controlled by the Deep State, or the ones calling the shots. It is just like telling the voters, choose my right hand or left hand every four years, and things will be different. It is never going to be different.
ReplyDeleteCommunism is a one party Government with no voting. Democracy, in the case of the USA, is a two party system, but the only difference is letting people have a right to vote to chose what, we might consider just a 'Hobson's Choice', that is immaterial to the Deep State whoever is elected. So every four years they do a song and dance, just to fool the voters that they have a say in choosing the President. And they happily go through the motions.
