A 3 minute clip on the Presidential Election from India and Indian perspective, quoting Tharman saying Singapore is ready for a non Chinese Head of State. India is naturally happy and proud should Tharman become the next President, becoming the third ethnic Indian President, not counting Halimah who is half Indian. The fact that Tharman is now the front runner in a Chinese majority state would dispel the mischievous myth that Singapore Chinese are racists. If the Chinese are racists, Tharman would not be so confident of winning and would not be the front runner when the Chinese voters are supporting him instead of supporting the other two Chinese candidates in Ng Kok Song and Tan Kin Lian.
Hope the racists would shut up for good and stop accusing and tarnishing the Chinese as racists.
This arrogant youtuber just convinced me who to vote for President.
ReplyDeleteI just don't like Ng Kok Song.
Right you are Anon 10.14
DeleteManaged to convince one neigbour voter to vote for TKL.
She said wanted Talk Cock and Sing Song rather then pineapple or TKL.
Told her wiser to vote TKL as both cheeks of the same arse.
TKL better position to NOT self checked self and then took two years b4 decision for the scandal cases.
Can said in hindsight shud be more decisive and fast.
One Vote for TKL.
Cheers
Why is there a need to say that Tharman is of Indian heritage? Is he likely to be mistaken as an African by the colour of his skin or his name? People can see and there is no need to point out this obvious fact.
ReplyDeleteThe way the Indians and India are hallucinating about another Indian becoming President is truly annoying and I, like Anon 10.14 have just been convinced who to vote for President.
Oh, by the way, India is now going to explore the sun, hoping to start shouting 'discovery' and colonise it as well. Instead of helping eliminate poverty on the ground, India is spending all that money to explore the moon, sun and the universe. It mirrors the USA in every way, pouring billions into Ukraine, while giving a miserly US$700 to help victims of the fire in Maui. No wonder the Haiwaiians are pissed off.
To all Indians and their egoistical dispora, keep harping how great they are and what a super country theirs is and Tan Kin Lian will be living in the Istana confirmed.
ReplyDeleteThey very obviously have no shame and don't know how to be humble like the next sole superpower.
If botak is elected, please ask the indian gov to send him to the sun.
ReplyDeleteMoon also not fully explored want to go to the Sun ah?
DeleteAsked Sun Su-Lin hot or not? PRC Sun is sure hot but she also hot on her back as saw some rumours of her macham same case as Iswaran.
Only crazy nuts will declare they wanted to go to the Sun.
Even the Americunts and Russians and Chinese never think of the Sun as its be impossible yo reach.
Be burned out even far away.
Pineapple Botak smart smart as advised by Papies Scholars to choose Pineapple as the catch word
Now quite a many Sinkies are above 65 and most you be surprised already joined Bidamn's club.
So when they go voting, many incapable ones will be assisted by the elections officers or assistants to mark their votes.
Many blurred blurred cannot will be asked by the helpers you want to mark Pineapples right,
"Ong Lye took boh? Ong Lai tiok boh?"
"Ho lah ho lah Chin chai lah Ong Lai ah"
How many thousands be doing this?
Ong Lai very goodchance
That's why they demanded Compulsory Votings.
Cheers
The Brits are so envious and pissed off with the Indians spending money to go to the moon and are demanding that India returns the financial aid given to India.
ReplyDeleteIndia in turn is demanding the Brits to return the 4 trillion pounds looted from India in the 4 centuries of colonisation and ruling India.
I understand the Brits actually stole much more than 4 trillion. It was reported to be at least 41 trillion (in pounds I believe). But they are now passing laws to prevent the return of some stolen artifacts from India, China, South Africa and elsewhere. About the 41 trillion pounds they stole, well, even if every citzen in Little Britain sell their backsides, they are unable to repay. So forget about it.
ReplyDeleteIn any case, it makes little difference to talk about it, since Little Britain is now a de facto colony of India, with an Indian PM. See how strong a superpower India is? It is now all in the family, so why need to talk about debts? How the wheel of fortune is changing.
Oh, by the way, another little bit of titillating news. It is reported that the youngest brother of Charles is living in a palace with 120 rooms. Just imagine that. A large proportion of Brits are living from hand to mouth and losing their homes, unable to service their mortage.
Homelessness is a big problem in many of the 'showpiece democratic countries', including the USA. Oh, there are homeless people, lots of them in democratic Japan as well. But the difference is they are hidden, unlike the open display of them found in the USA. The USA Government seems proud of those tents lining the streets. They claimed it is a 'lifestyle choice' that homeless people like to live the way they do, sleeping, eating, shitting, urinating and reproducing at street corners. What can I say?
Tan Chuan Jin also said, old peoples collect cardboards were to exercises. Same logics as USA.
DeleteIs India conducting influence operations?
ReplyDeleteThe Foreign Interference (Countermeasures) Act (FICA) was passed in Parliament on 4 October 2021. The legislation provides measures to prevent, detect and disrupt foreign interference in our domestic politics conducted through (i) hostile information campaigns (HICs) and (ii) the use of local proxies.
TM resigned from PAP, India supported him. How to get trust among local born Singaporeans him. My vote would not be for him.
ReplyDeleteThe backfiring seems unexpectedly negative, with India and Indians doing a song and dance for the chosen one. Too bad the old master is not around to deflect the blows and humble the ground.
ReplyDeleteIt would indeed be fun if the chosen one is to fall.
A president has two key roles. To review the use of our reserves and appoint key public appointment holders. So, this person must be independent from the government.
ReplyDeleteBut I’m very sad.
I’m sad that the political landscape is in such turmoil. I’m sad that a highly qualified candidate like George Goh was not eligible. They raised the bar for private candidates by increasing the shareholders’ equity 5 times to $500M and certain management experience conditions.
However no equivalent conditions are required for public sector candidates.
And, it only resulted in all past Elected Presidents being endorsed by the establishment.
This is not a healthy trend for Singapore.
The government must give the people the choice to vote in a President who is independent.
Today, I Tan Cheng Bock want to plead with you to stand for what is right. Love your country by supporting the cause for an independent president. Your one vote counts make it worth it.
- Tan Cheng Bock
Honestly, I think George Goh is truly independent, but not the other two. I also think that Anon 3.41 would have prefered George Goh being eligible to contest. I share his endorsement.
ReplyDeleteOne more reason for me not to vote for Tharman. This gloating puts me off any candidate of "Indian heritage".
ReplyDeleteDon't vote for Ong Lai, it will make him Ong only and monies Lai to the G by more taxes on its people. Don't vote for KoSong as he just heed the call of Ong Lai and doesn't really care about the people this guy out of sudden appear and wanna be a people headman it's wat his name speaks for himself KoSong (also can't speak Chinese how to resonate with majority Chinese or new Chinese citizens) so dun vote for him either. Lastly, Vote for TKL cos he will bring back Trust and give the people hope for a better future Majulah S'pura.
