Asean did not interfere enough in Myanmar's domestic affair

The Asean Charter

Respect for the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, non-interference and national identities of ASEAN members. Promoting regional peace and identity, peaceful settlements of disputes through dialogue and consultation, and the renunciation of aggression.  Wikipedia

Asean's Charter is very specific about the principles of sovereignty and non interference in the domestic affairs of its members. Lately it seems that Asean has deleted the word 'non interference' in its Charter and is increasing meddling and poking its fingers into Myanmar's domestic affairs as if it has the right to do so, that it is on high moral ground, acting like the USA. The only difference is that it is not interfering enough, it has not asked for sanctions or boycott Myanmar or regime change. It has only disallowed Myanmar to attend Asean meeting.

This is no good. The Americans are displeased with Asean for not interfering enough. Asean should act boldly like the Americans if it wants to please the Americans and be invited to the White House for dinner. But before doing it, Asean might want to amend its Charter and remove the word 'non interference' so that it can do it without being accused of interfering into another member state's domestic affairs. As long as the word 'non interference' is in its Charter, then interfering in Myanmar's domestic affairs is a violation of its own Charter. Or is it that the Asean leader did not know how to read its Charter?

Who in Asean has been pushing Asean to meddle with Myanmar's internal affairs and acting like they are the white gods? Remember this quote from Vivian Balakrishnan,

"Finally, remember that a small nation is always vulnerable. Again, to repeat something I have said multiple times here, never let ourselves be a vassal state, a stalking horse, a cat’s paw for any other power. Understand that when we get entangled in such matters, the ultimate loser is always the smaller state."

Asean may not be a small state, but would Asean wants to be a vassal state, a stalking horse, a cat’s paw for any other power? What Asean is doing to Myanmar today is as good as acting on behalf of the Americans, but not good enough. Asean should go all out to do what the Americans want it to do, poke the eyes of Myanmar. Then the Americans would be very please, good boy.

Or the Asean leaders are so dumb that they did not think what they are doing are meddling and interfering with Myanmar's domestic affairs? No?

  3. As I have mentioned, ChannelNewsAmerica in this region has been aggressively propagating
and brainwashing people in this region, even with on-site newscasters on the scene.
Listen to unbiased reports by a former US Navy guy Brian Balectic (NewAtlas) on Youtube for a more balanced truth without bootlicking agenda.

  4. ASEAN needs to interfere more in Myanmar going forward to suit the USA agenda. The USA would love that, after the failure to democratise Mynmar using Aung San Suu Kyi, which they cultivated for a long time. This upgrading of interference in Myanmar is in line with the USA's expanding influence in ASEAN, now with more bases available in Philippines, which is an ASEAN member, to carry out its vile agenda.

The USA is very very interested in introducing democracy in Myanmar, just like in Iraq. Iraq now enjoys 'oil theft democracy', where the USA can just can take the oil, sell it, keep the money in the USA, and let Iraq go to the dogs, and the stooge Iraqi Government is hapless. They really love Muslims, right? Signed, sealed and delivered!

Never underestimate the importance of Myanmar in the USA scheme of things. First is the border with China which the USA can and definitely will exploit if the Myanmar Military Regime falls and a stooge takes over. Look at Ukraine and see how wonderful it is to have a stooge that obeys every word that the USA and Nato tells him. Even a clown is able to do the job of a stooge President.

Myanmar is also rich in natural resources, still largely untapped except for the extraction of jade. To the North is the Golden Triangle, the drug producing region that the USA wants to control totally. Understand from sources that the CIA is already in de facto control of the region. Oh, those drugs wars that we hear so much about are just taking out 'the competition', not really clamping down on the drug production per se. Fighting against the drug lords are just an eyewash and mostly hyped up heroics in Hollywood fashion. Those drug lords have to be either with the CIA or against the CIA. A little skirmish is to make it believeable.

The devil is preparing to play a key role as the 'Resident Evil' in ASEAN as well as in Asia. Taiwan is the other Ukraine and a perfect starting point to hype up threats from China, so that they can have the justification to set up base on the pretext of protecting the vassals. Even Nato is expanding in Asia, starting with Japan and the EU is starting to create mischief by antagonising China by threatening sanctions on some Chinese companies for supporting Russia. It is the same modus operandi we saw in Ukraine, with Nato trying to expand towards Russia. You see, the same picture fits in nicely into different frames. China must therefore retaliate against the EU companies that support Ukraine, as sanctions cannot just be unilateral and dictated and interpreted by one party alone. If China's support for Russia is expanding the war, what are the USA, Nato and related companies doing by supporting Ukraine?

Some in ASEAN are obviously willingly welcoming the devil into the house. They will regret doing so.
