KMT's Ma Ying-Jeou Slams Japanese Invaders' 'Barbarous Acts' in Nanjing

KMT's Ma Ying-Jeou Slams Japanese Invaders' 'Barbarous Acts' in Nanjing; Students Angry DPP Curbs WII Info

"History must never be forgotten… all of us Chinese should stand on our own two feet so that we will not be bullied or trampled on," former chairman of the Kuomintang (KMT) party Ma Ying-jeou said on Wednesday at the Memorial Hall of the Victims of the Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders in Nanjing.

Ma said that he was unprecedentedly shocked in emotion after closely seeing massacre-related artifacts, historical materials, photos and other materials.

On December 13, 1937, Japanese troops seized Nanjing and committed horrible atrocities, including rape, arson, looting, mass executions and torture. The striking sign that reads "300,000 victims" on the memorial wall engraved a collective and painful memory for all the Chinese people.

Ma entered the exhibition hall to learn about the atrocities committed by the Japanese army, humanitarian aid, Nanjing after the massacre, and post-war investigation and trial. Ma looked sorrowful and even choked up during the interview, according to Taiwan-based media.

"I have read some books and photos about the history of the Nanjing Massacre, but I have never been so shocked as today. This is a rarely barbarous act in human history, and the Chinese people are the biggest victims," Ma said.

A large number of precious cultural relics and historical materials in the museum tell the world the history with irrefutable facts. The three basic exhibitions display nearly 4,000 photos, nearly 10,000 cultural relics and more than 260 video materials, according to Xinhua.

Ma told media that Chinese people, no matter on which side of the Taiwan Straits, "should be self-reliant and resist bravely in facing of outside bullying."

Students among Ma's delegation said that textbooks in Taiwan under DPP authorities have little detail about the Nanjing Massacre, without mentioning actual number of victims. After this visit, they felt very sorrowful and also angry for the past foreign bullying against the Chinese nation.

  1. Unfortunately, Tsai Ing wen and her DPP fawn the Japanese, colloborating with the JP and US to confront CN.

They were the first to offer condolences to JP after war apologist and revisionist Shinzo Abe died and even erected a bust in his memory.

Taiwan under Tsai is so slowly erasing its Chineseness, revising Chinese history in school textbooks and pivot to more Japanese lang in the public space like on TV. They emphaze Mingnan hua as Taiwanese NL which is Hokkien, a China provincial lang from Fujian.

DPP officials even reminded the public not to suspect any intention of US and JP as whatever they do is for the good of the island.

  2. All those shiny F35s that Japan bought:

The latest news from Bloomberg highlights additional F-35 software delays by Lockheed for at least a year, making it 16 months behind schedule. The stealth fighter was set to receive a substantial technological upgrade, increasing processing power by 37 times and memory by 20 times, enabling it to carry more advanced weapons and enhance surveillance capabilities.

The stealth fighter jet having hundreds of software and hardware flaws that could impact combat missions, Lockheed was busy this week with another significant issue: the UASF terminated its AGM-183A Air-launched Rapid Response Weapon hypersonic missile program after test failures.

'The general in charge of the US Air Force's F-35s testified before Congress that only half the fleet is "mission capable" at any given time.

That is almost certainly an exaggeration - the mission capable rate has previously been reported as less than 25%.'...twitter quote from Will Schryver

  4. Tsai Ing-wen and her DPP stooges wiil be better off choosing Jpn as safe haven when the time comes for them to exit Twn. I am convinced the japs will welcome and appoint them as groundskeepers of the Yasukuni shrine and second job offers will likely come from the Jap porn industry.

    1. Ah Bian, Tsai and Lee Tenghui are Jap bootlickers with the latter even thought of himself as Japanese and had wanted to be buried in Japan.

The likely successor to Tsai, the current VP is also another American and Japanese waterboy.
      If Taiwanese keep electing
people like these, the island is surely fucked if it isn't already is.

  5. When ROC reunites with the motherland, the Chinese in the island gain the whole China market to play with, to invest and enjoy the motherland.

Why would they want to be locked down in an island not recognised by the majority of the world other than a few little island states?

  6. Silliness is a mental state that we cannot understand about leaders. Take the EU as an example. Why follow the USA in Ukraine, putting all countries in harms way, losing the cheap energy source which I believe is now for good with no turning back, and instead paying expensive prices for outrageous energy cost from the USA. What is the rational? And remember it is all to please and support the USA's interest just to contain Russia. If that is not stupidity, what is?

What really boggles the mind is that even African leaders are waking up and thinking rationally, while EU leaders who are supposed to be running highly developed countries are still behaving like 'the walking dead'.

  8. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unit_731
Unit 731 was responsible for some of the most notorious war crimes committed by the Japanese armed forces.
Experiments included disease injections, controlled dehydration, biological weapons testing, vivisection, amputation, and standard weapons testing. Victims included not only kidnapped men, women (including pregnant women) and children, but also babies born from the systemic rape perpetrated by the staff inside the compound. The victims came from different nationalities, with the majority being Chinese and a significant minority being Russian.
Estimates of those killed by Unit 731 and its related programs range up to half a million people, and none of the inmates survived.
While Unit 731 researchers arrested by Soviet forces were tried at the December 1949 Khabarovsk war crime trials, those captured by the United States, including the Japenis General helming unit 731 were secretly given immunity in exchange for the data gathered during their human experiments.
