Unemployment crime against our children - The pain of a father

My daughter with a Science Degree from NUS first batch A*Star Research Lab staff for ten years.

Now at a Day Care and Nursing Home as a Therapist.

My Son, Poly Diploma IT and also an Overseas Degree IT now working part time as a Furniture shop store assistant.

Sinkies are now so patheic working all these types of jobs to survive.

At Chennai Business Park and Central CBD business Districts you can see thousands of Southern Indians with business clothes and ties going for happy hours after taking over all the professions that are meant for our own Singaporeans.

Last time in the 60s to 90s we are the Ones with ties in the CBD.

Now been overran by the Locusts.

I had sound my two children as I had worked before in Matland and have known their styles and businesses there, it would be better if we relocate there and be welcome with their degrees and credentials that may be appreciated in value by the Malaysians.

Also, think Sinkies would performed better than their Malaysian cousins as our degrees are from full time Higher Education Institutions.

In Matland most obtained their degrees by part time or overseas correspondence courses.

  1. Do not commit crimes against our children.

Vote wisely for parties that would take care of our children's future.

Vote for jobs for Singaporeans, not jobs for foreigners.

  2. Save our children from the invasion of foreigners.

  4. PM Lee: S’poreans cannot have it both ways – more opposition MPs but also effective PAP govt

Elon Musk has urged independent voters in the US to back the Republican Party on the eve of Tuesday’s midterm elections, arguing that “shared power” is the best way to keep both parties in check. Musk reasoned that “shared power curbs the worst excesses of both parties.”

    Who do you believe?

If there's a strong opposition party to check the PAP, would it still suka suka raise the GST even as the ministers pay themselves stratospheric salaries and against the cries of ordinary Sinkies amid decades-high inflation?

  5. Many of those Singaporeans now doing food delivery probably faced a similar family-worrying danger of having a normal life, with some even staring at an existential threat of survival, when Covid-19 struck.

Quite a number of people from all walks of life became food delivery riders here because they also lost their old jobs and had mouths to feed, including their own. There was the story of a talented conductor who used to conduct orchestras in Europe. He turned to food delivery when the pandemic hit Singapore around January 2020. He was stuck here and turned to being delivery rider once the lockdown was eased. Jobless PMETs also took to motorbikes and scooters to earn a living.

The Straits Times reported in Nov 2021:

And we have a few hundred thousand foreigners here in good jobs.

  6. I only care about my opposition MP taking good care of my constituency. That is what I am voting for. I live in Hougang for over 37 years, most of which under the WP.

Now, my vote takes care of two things and is more valuable than others. I can buy one and get one free! MPs elected and unelected that is. Give it a try!

  7. Now that they are working to replace Singaporeans in senior management with foreign so-called global talent, will voting pattern change? Will the well off staunch supporters of PAP still continue to support the Party?

  8. Thye can replace Singaporeans with foreigners, Singaporeans can replace them at the ballot.

  13. I am currently unemployed due to my age(72 years old). My elder son from NTU is also jobless. So is my younger son from Polytechnic. Is our lives better under the current PAP leaders ? You guess it. I also have many PMET friends who are driving for Grab or doing food delivery.

When will they stop letting FTs come and work in Singapore ?

Should we vote for the PAP to continue screwing all of us ? Its time we put a complete stop to this Nonsense.

  14. The same will happen to your children’s children and future generations. We have an unequal system that systematically discriminates against the ordinary citizens, generations after generations. There is nothing the ordinary man on the street can do. For those who can, migrate or get your children to migrate.

Why do the ruling party do what they do? Let me give you an analogy….if you have an oil well in your backyard what would you do? You will extract as much as you can to earn as much as you can. We are the oil, by packing more bodies into every square inch in Singapore, the elites get to squeeze out even more oil and profit. It’s just pure greed and selfishness…don’t blame the elites, it’s just human nature.
