Tucker Carlson - British civilised India and Indians

If you believe what Tucker Carlson said, the Indians owed their civilised ways to the British. To Carlson, the Indians could not even build a train terminal. And the British were benigned, took only what were necessary, and left behind a legal system, an administrative system, buildings and the English Language.

The Indians have a lot to thank the British for. Of course this is white men writing their stories about how benevolent they were. They were godsent to help India, civilised the uncivilised Indians. They did not brutalise, rape, plundere, pillage, loot or massacre Indians.

Listen to Shashi Tharoor, who once said the British only needed to pay one pound as a gesture for conquering India and ruling India. Now he is incensed by what Carlson said and poured out all the crimes the British committed against the Indians in India.

NDTV - Congress MP Shashi Tharoor demolishes Fox anchor Tucker Carlson's arguments on the British empire. The British killed, looted and raped in India, they built institutions and buildings for themselves not for Indians says a furious Tharoor.  10 minutes video.

PS. When foreigners came into your country, killed and massacred your people and took over your land and everything, can that be benign? Were all the white colonisers benign when they cut up Africa and Asia to call it theirs? When the white men went to the Americas, Australia and Pacific Islands, killed and massacred the natives and took over their land and treated them as sub humans, were that benign?

Were the white Americans benign to the native Americans and took only what were necessary?

  1. India is an aspiring world power. The condescending and humiliating behaviors of the West are unbearable and insulting to them. And to try to fool the Indians by offering to refurbish Pakistan's F16 fighters on the silly ground of 'fighting terrorism' is even more hurting as the F16s would be used against the Indians.

White men speak and act in fork tongues.

  4. India, with five thousand years of civilisation behind it, need the British to teach them how to be civilised? Great Britain, a country formed in 1707 of islands, with barely four hundred years of existence, trying to teach a civilisation of five thousand years how to be civilised?

Tucker Carson, a descendant of the Brits, must be sleeping under a rock since the day he was born.

The Whites will invent all kinds of hubris to justify their genocidal and psychotic mindset to wash away all their sins. History does not lie. Only the perpetrators lie to cover their atrocious sins.

One day the Brits will claim that they brought opium into China by force to civilise the Chinese. How hypocritical are the Anglo Saxon Whites can be seen in what they are doing today, a reflection of what they did in the past.

  5. They really think the Indians are foolish enough to buy into the argument that upgrading Pakistan's F16 is to fight terrorism? The real purpose is punishing India discreetly for not condemning Russia and buying Russian military equipments and energy. Clear and distinct act of instigation. They can't confront India directly, because they need India to counter China, and India is a member of the QUAD. So they just send discreet signals to India to tow the line.

By the way, do we really think that the bribe of US$150 million pittance to ASEAN is for them to buy patrol boats to fight piracy and illegal fishing? Those who think so ought to have their heads examined.

The USA will never give money to countries without a motive. The most obvious motive for giving ASEAN the pittance, and using the issue of buying patrol boats, is to sneak in eventually to control the seas around this region. Elsewhere, in the Pacific Islands, help is given to them clearly and obviously to counter China and eventually land them a base in that area. Nothing more, nothing less.

They don't take! The stole by force! Like stealing the land of the Native Americans and the Australian Aborigines. And what civilised lessons did the Anglo Saxon Whites gave to the Natives in North America and Australia?

They genocided them to almost extinction, and what remains of them today are herded like animals into reservations, to make it sound more humane, but in reality are also known as concentration camps, to make it more realistic. And to add insult to injury, they also have reservations in Africa for near extinct animals, so think about it. They are treating the Native American Indians and Australian Aborigines as animals.

And they think they have the moral right to accuse the Chinese of mistreating just a segment of the radicalised Muslim Uyghurs in Xinjiang. Just a segment mind you, compared to the wholesale genocide of Native American Indians in the whole continent of North America and the Aborigines of Australia.

  7. No ASEAN country seems to have commented on Russian action in Ukraine, not even the Chair of ASEAN, which is Cambodia. Yet, Red Dot is making statements against Russian incorporation of areas into their area of control in Eastern Ukraine, calling it against International Law.

Looks like the little Red Dot has been given big shoes to wear after the invitation to Washington to meet the emperor and given the mandate to lead ASEAN, not Cambodia that should be speaking on behalf of ASEAN.

  8. It is very clear that Asean would not want to be coerced by the Americans to say what they want Asean to say. Evidently Singapore is speaking without the blessing of Asean, not Asean's position, but the blessing of the US.

    1. Singapore has become an odd job out, different from other Asean countries.

Most likely Singapore should not be inside Asean, because it cannot sing the same tune with the other Asean members.

If this modus operandi were to continue, I think all the other Asean countries have got the right to tell Singapore to leave Asean???

  9. Singapore should stay out of ASEAN if it does not want to harmonize with the other ASEAN Members.

Being the odd ball all the time is a sure way to get kicked out of the Association.

Other ASEAN Members should not tolerate such behaviour.

  10. This is the wrong time to start learning from it. The UK is in deep shit with inflation, strikes, energy crisis, brexit simmering issues still unresolved, and she is saying she is just starting to learn? Many already knew she is not capable enough to be the PM, and is known for walking back on issues she herself created. She was selected by her party, not the British public.

Just being pushed into her job and she already made so many mistakes. She will not last this winter.

Boris Johnson certainly knows when to jump ship, knowing all these problems will surface and is enjoying his liquor parties freely without being censured, waiting to return, just like Trump. They said that the pair resembles Laurel and Hardy, the comedy duo.
