Liz Truss resigned - Indian ministers leaving UK Parliament

Rishi Sunak, Suella Braverman, Priti Patel, Alok Sharma, Sajid Javid, these are names of Indian ministers and MPs in the UK cabinet. Some have resigned while some could still be in the British Parliament. They were doing very well and within a short span of a few months, in the last days of Boris Johnson and now Liz Truss, it seems that they were quite willing to quit their jobs as elected representative or ministers of the British Parliament.

These are the best of the British politicians available today and it would be a big waste. Ok, these I mean the Indian ministers and MPs, not Boris, not Liz Truss. Are they planning to make a come back or quit politics for the time being? These are top talents, would definitely be welcomed in Singapore as top foreign political talents. If they were to come to Singapore, and get elected, if they could get a pink IC, they would definitely give our Parliament a big boost in foreign talents.

Did they know that Singapore's door for top foreign talents is fully wide open? Singapore is pushing ahead to recruit real top talents, earning $30,000 pm minimum. Not sure if it includes political talents. Oh, not sure if they earn $30,000 pm to qualify.

They need not join the ruling party. They could join the opposition parties as there is a dearth of good and experienced political leaders in the many opposition parties.  Ooops, it is the ruling party that is welcoming foreign talents. Not sure if the opposition parties would also play by this mantra and welcome foreign talents.

Indian political talents have an added advantage. They have been proven to be very good politicians locally. And Indians have been the choice candidates for top jobs here. Now these are not the normal Indians from India, but battle proven top Indian talents from the UK, our colonial masters. They have proven to be as good as our colonial masters in their home ground. Must be really good. Very impressive.

And in Rishi Sunak, there is a PM material, a potential PM.

What do you think?

PS. Maybe Singapore should lay out a red carpet to welcome them.

This is the best of Britain. And no one else is better than him, oops, no one else except Rishi Sunak, to be good enough to be the PM of Britain.

  1. It's doesn't matter whether the British Indian MPs resign or not:

'UK long ago turned into political, economic and military circus and the fact that Liz Truss lasted only 44 days changes absolutely nothing because reserves of clowns in UK are, obviously, limitless.

You cannot cure terminal illness, the only thing possible is a palliative therapy, meaning shooting copious amounts of hard drugs into the patient to relieve pain and suffering before death. I am, in general, not very optimistic about Europe and Larry's posting yesterday the "travel report" from Phil Giraldi reinforced my position. The crisis is systemic and affects every single facet of modern combined West no matter what actions completely cornered Western "elites" take to save themselves.'

  2. Let there be as many top-talents in Sin and or coming to Sin. Most will do is to scoop
    All the Remaining Available
    Wealth.
Once the Wealth dries up, they will abandon the Tiny Barren Rock as they will not be able to save it's inevitale collapse.
    It is akin to 英雄
无用武之地 expertswith no opportunity to practice their skills.
The Tiny Rock is almost fully saturated. There is little or nothing it could be attractive than other countries.
Sin has got itself into a very vicious cycle in growing its' population by importing aliens to settle here.
Not only the Social Fabric is getting damage, there is no sense of belonging in the People now as it is diluted by
Frsgmentations of cultures such as in religion, race and language etc.
Sin is heading for the Slippery slope if it is not already sliding down.
    Pray and hope that
    there could be
    Miracle

  3. This witch is so anti-China even during her stint as Foreign Secretary. And her stance continued while she was campaigning for the PM's job. She and Sunak were trading insults, accusing each other over who was not hard enough on China. It was this anti-China stance that bought over the British public and put her in office. The Brits are now paying the price.

She kept playing up the 'China threat' card and threatens to decouple from China. Brexit already dealt the UK a near fatal blow with businesses finding it extremely difficult to deal with red tape in exporting to the the EU. In fact, it has been reported that British businesses were moving over to the EU to overcome the red tape, and to take advantage of the bigger EU market or face attrition. And she wants to decouple from China? Madness!

She is literally a jinx, with the Queen passing on days after she took office. And she almost destroyed Little Britain's financial system, had the Bank of England not stepped in to buy back those bonds. But the damage had already been done and confidence has yet to be restored. Charles, who met her when she became PM, exclaimed 'Back again, dear, oh dear' perhaps more in exasperation than surprise. Truss had disparage the existence of the British Monarchy since her younger days in politics.

Anyway, China is thousand of miles away from the UK. What threat is she talking about? In fact, it is the British threatening China, sending it's bathtub aircraft carrier, the Queen Elizabeth, to the doorstep of China. Did China send warships to the doorstep of Little Britain to threaten them?

But, like the USA, even if Boris Johnson resurface as PM, things will not change. It cannot change, as the UK is not unlike the USA, and needs external bogeymen to hold up their domestic politics. And, like the USA, it will be same same, even if Labour wins the next election.

  5. As a most expensive tiny barren rock in the Midst of large well-endow neighbours,
Sin is heading fast to its' destiny.
The High Cost of Everything in the City State, is it's nemesis.

The Fate of Sin is sealed.

  6. In the USA, we have seen the worst of the worst running the country. Can you believe choosing two dinosaurs against each other in 2020 and ended up with a circus of clowns. January 6th 'riots' now showing on prime time is a joke.

Now, in the UK, we can perhaps, perceive the reason why Johnson resigned and yet now attempting a comeback. He found a scapegoat in Liz Truss, to do a crash and burn, so he could return with much more credibility than his successor. It worked perfectly as he had planned.

But I think the UK is sinking into oblivion, no matter what happens. Many are predicting that outcome. Only the Brits themselves have not realised how deeply they have sunk, and are still trying to relive their glory days of 'rulling the waves'.

  7. Liz should award Nobel economic prize

  8. Ya, ya. When they compare Truss with Boris, Boris looks like a genius with too much booze.

  9. Not to worry. Boris Johnson will make sure of more 'partygate' for Downing Street. And with booze to party with, sure, they will give him all the support.

  10. Singapore should offer to loan Tharman to Britain as temp PM for 3 years till they find and groom another able Brits to be PM.

Who is better, Tharman of Sin, Mamohan of lndia or Sunak of UK ?

  11. How do you rate Boris' talent against the foreign talents in Singapore?

Does he stand a chance standing beside them? Or our foreign talents would say Boris has no talent, no qualification, no skills set, nevermind his academic degrees from top universities in Britain.

  12. Rb he not interested in pm job in sg lar. It's a small job for him like a downgrade when he can get UK pm job

    ReplyDelete
  13. How can that be a downgrade? Britain you know, the British Empire, with about 10 times the population of Singapore and at least 100 times bigger than Singapore.

And got chance to drink tea with King Charles. Here only drink teh tarik with President Halimah.

The PM of UK is a very much bigger job than PM of a piece of rock.

  14. Sinkies should not be too concern with the Politic in UK.
    However,
In view of many similarities in the Political Aspects of both countries,
especially the Clownish Cabinet Members in both regimes, the Fates of Both shall end
    in like-fashion.
The UK shall collapse and if not, goes into oblivion.
    Even then,
it dies at least after many hundred years as an empire.
Sin is less than 70 Year Old to date, How long more will it lasts.

  15. Right. The UK PM's job is not a downgrade for Tha-man. Imagine, being the PM of the 'United Kingdom'. The word 'Kingdom' is already very 'atas', a badge of honour. Red Dot's PM's job is just too 'bawah' and that is why he does not want it.

And Tha-man can strut his feathers and gets the privelege of criticising China without getting toasted as in Red Dot. In fact, he will be adulated by the British Politicians and public alike for doing that.

And not to forget, it will be celebration time for the Indians in India as well, just like their celebration of the election of the half-Indian VP of the USA. Now, just like sheep after seeing her atrocious performance both at home and overseas. Nothing but causing problems for others to clean up at home.

    Go Tha-man go!

  16. We have so many talented ministers with a lot of capacity to do much more than what they are doing now. Taking over the job of the PM of UK would be chicken feat. Also a good opportunity to teach the Brits how to run and manage a country the Singapore way, efficient and always got budget surplus.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Singapore is so well run that there is nothing to talk about, nothing to criticise or make fun of.

Since we got so much time and nothing much to do, let's have some fun talking about the British Empire and how great Britain is or was, how benevolent the Brits were, leaving behind such a fine country with fine systems and governments and building to us and all their colonies.

  18. Blessed with so much talent it is only a matter of time Indians will rule the world. PAP has foresight to open the floodgates to them. With their help we can definitely and continuously punch above our weight for a long. long time.

    ReplyDelete
  19. And Singapore will be so blessed with the Indian talents here. This is foresight, worth the multi million dollar pay. Only exceptional talents can foresee such a beautiful future.

Singaporeans are so blessed. The future is so very bright.

  20. The world is becoming so globalised, you can't talk about the UK without touching on Red Dot.
Red Dot's future is bright. Even the USA knows. That is why among ASEAN countries, it is the only country invited to the White Palace to meet the Emperor.

But luckily not invited to meet Liz Truss as yet. Look what happened to the Queen, two days after meeting her. Even Charles is scared and said - 'Not again, dear, oh dear'. Know what he means?

  21. Truss only contribution is to send the Queen to

  26. Sunak shall be the Best for the UK now.
As a non-white, he will do all he can to prove that he csn do a wonderful job.
He shall work to rejuvenate and restore Britain to
glory to prove his mettle and worth.
The UK People should let Sunak at least a go at it for a change in fortune.
    Cheers
