Singapore registered at least 11,732 cases of Covid-19 Patients On Tuesday, 11 Oct, 2022. This is a sudden surge caused by a new strain known as the XBB, a relatively new strain which can spread very easily from person to person.
We have seen many people who are totally oblivious to this new strain spreading. All are better off to put on their masks wherever they go.
Special measures for hospital visits have been implemented from 14 Oct to 10 Nov, 2022. All are advised to strictly follow the hospital's rules and regulations.
Curbs on number of visitors, duration of visits at hospitals and residential care homes as Covid-19 cases are on the rise. Safe management measures at all hospital wards and residential care homes in Singapore are being tightened for four weeks as community Covid-19 cases rise, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Wednesday (Oct 12).
This is to protect vulnerable patients and residents, as well as to protect healthcare staff.
From Oct 14 until Nov 10, patients in hospitals will only be allowed to have two pre-designated visitors for the duration of their stays.
Only one of these visitors will be allowed at a patient's bedside at any one time.
"Critically ill patients will be allowed up to five pre-designated patients, and two visitors may be allowed at the bedside at any one point in time," MOH said.
Al Visits will be limited to 30 minutes.
So, try not to visit the hospitals, polyclinics, homes, etc if you can help it, during this period.
Playing with Covid-19 or living with Covid-19 or Dying with Covid-19? All is up to you to guess/predict.
ReplyDeleteYou can start playing with Covid-19 by not wearing masks at all, only in buses and trains, where the bus conductor or ushers would not let you in, if you are not wearing masks.
You can also start living with Covid-19 by not wearing any mask whatsoever. Even in buses and trains. However, some bus conductors and train supervisors may let you in, while others may not. Anyway, living with Covid-19 is fun. Don't believe? Try it a d see what happens after that.
You can also start Dying with Covid-19. How? Have you seen the number of people died everyday? Just go down stairs and count the number of people who died everyday. You will be surprised!
Anyway, happy living with Covid-19! That's what the G wants you to do.
In the mean time, just forget about the number of casualties happening each day. Not 10 or 20, but by the thousands - 11,732 to be exact, for Tuesday only. What about other days? I am afraid to think. You can think on my behalf.
Vaccine or con job??
ReplyDelete'Pfizer Exec Admits Under Oath: 'We Never Tested COVID Vaccine Against Transmission''
'Pfizer executive Janine Small admits to EU parliament that Pfizer did not test the vaccine for preventing transmission of Covid prior to it being made available to the public.'
'The Food and Drug Administration wrote in late 2020 that there was no data available to determine whether the vaccine would prevent transmission and for how long it would protect against transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19.
“At this time, data are not available to make a determination about how long the vaccine will provide protection, nor is there evidence that the vaccine prevents transmission of SARS-CoV-2 from person to person,” the agency specifically noted.
Meanwhile, Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla, around the same time, said his firm was “not certain” if those who receive its mRNA vaccine will be able to transmit COVID-19 to other people.'
'Chief Biden administration medical adviser Anthony Fauci in May 2021 said in a CBS interview that vaccinated people are “dead ends” for COVID-19, suggesting they cannot transmit the virus.
“When you get vaccinated, you not only protect your own health and that of the family but also you contribute to the community health by preventing the spread of the virus throughout the community,” Fauci said.
Two months later, in late July of that year, Fauci said that vaccinated people are capable of transmitting the virus.'

Total infected in Singapore about 2m already.
ReplyDeleteWhat caused the upsurge? Supposed to be a new strain of the virus, right? I was wondering whether staging the F1, with all the foreigners converging, and with 350,000 spectators in close proximity, could be one factor causing the spread. But, of course, that is just a conspiracy theory. It does not hold water.
ReplyDeleteFirst they said the vaccine is 96% capable of preventing infection, said to have been proven in testing. Then when it failed to do that, a new advertising campaign was launched to sell us a new narrative that the vaccine can prevent serious illness when infected. That was a good advertising acumen, as most elderly had one form of illness or another, so was a good cover for the narrative to fall back on, should death resulted. Just blame the inherent illnesses.
ReplyDeleteIn the meanwhile, much side effects began to surface over the use of the vaccine, but all brushed aside as coincidental, nothing serious.
Ai-yo-yo. Here it comes again. Strain after strain.
ReplyDeleteLiving (and also Dying) with Covid-19 is really fun. Everyone now suddenly achieved Covid-19 Resilience! How wonderful!
ReplyDeleteOvernight, just because the Minister said that the public will achieve Covid-19 Resilience, every other idiots believed.
This is the sickest of the sick people.
A new Omicron subvariant, known as XBB, has been behind the increase in Covid-19 cases here in last 3 weeks.
ReplyDeleteHealth Minister Ong Ye Kung said that this new strain is responsible for half of all daily cases now compared to none just three weeks ago.
Should call it Omicron F1.
ReplyDeleteCalling the latest strain as Omicron F1 is too direct. No way they will admit it was due to F1.
ReplyDeleteChina is very vigilant against evil beings trying to introduce new COVID19 variant into the country. That will be a disaster.
ReplyDeleteChina is well aware of the 'smell of sulphur' when Satan visits. That experience during the days of the opium war is enough to tell them what to expect.
Only 3 weeks ago? What does this mean? What was imported just 3 weeks ago?
ReplyDeleteWas it F1? Most probably, it was F1.
So calling it Omicron F1 is most appropriate, isn't it?
The evil Americans have been trying many ways to pressurise China to open up so that they can insert more virus into China. Can you imagine the virus going out of control in China? The numbers of infection and death would be staggering.
ReplyDeleteChina would rather sit it out, its factories are still producing and exporting. No real harm except slower growth but very safe and its people can go about safely without wearing mask and not getting infected.
Now they cannot force China to open up like during the Opium War. Imagine forcing China to open up then and drugging the Chinese to make them weak. And China therefore succumbed to the invasion of the Seven Western Powers, including Japan. They tear up China into concessions, shared the spoils and even had the cheek to ask for compensation later. That was how Hong Kong and Macau were wrestled from China by daylight robbery.
ReplyDeleteToo bad, there were no 'Principled' people around then. No human rights fighting for the rights of the Chinese. Maybe I am asking too much, knowing that human rights, even today, only fight for the rights of the Anglo Saxon Whites. The Blacks in USA can keep believing in their 'Black Lives Matter' dream if they do not keep up fighting for it. The White know all this BLM calling will die down soon enough over time, and they let it be.
Singapore is at the mercy of the edicts from the USA. Now, even with 15,000 to 20,000 a day seems to be accepted as okay.
ReplyDeleteWith a population of 5.6 million, how many more people must gey infected before one can say "Enough is enough"?
At the present rate of 15,000 to 20,000, according to the model projected by the MTF, how many times will the whole population be infected?
Brushing aside the mildness of the infection is the most stupid thing to do. You don't even know how Covid-19 is going to affect your health, the rest of your life. How then can one simply brush aside the notion that Omicron infection is okay?
No wonder it is spreading so fast. Omicron F1 is fast and furious.

Ministry of Health, Singapore is bringing forward the rollout of the bivalent Moderna/Spikevax vaccine by a few days to 14 Oct.
This is because our operations teams were able to complete their preparations earlier, and there are benefits to administering early given infections are rising due to the XBB Omicron subvariant.
There is no evidence showing that XBB causes more severe illness. So please beware of falsehoods that are circulating.
I encourage individuals aged 50 and above, or persons have yet to achieve minimum protection, to take the bivalent vaccine.
Minister Gan Kim Yong and I went to the Commonwealth Joint Testing and Vaccination Centre today to observe the preparations and received our bivalent vaccine shot. It is safe and works better against Omicron in protecting you against severe illness.
Stay up-to-date with your vaccination!
Go to https://www.gowhere.gov.sg/vaccine to locate your nearest JTVC.

ReplyDelete1. You have just taken your vivalent shots, what makes you think that it is safe and works better against Omicron?
2. You did not even allow the bivalent vaccine to take effect, how can you immediately conclude that the vaccine is safe?
3. I will take it with a handful of salt!
: A man who sued Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) and three doctors over the death of his mother had his case dismissed by the High Court on Thursday (Oct 13).
ReplyDeleteJustice Choo Han Teck found that the hospital and the doctors had not been negligent in their treatment of 74-year-old Tan Yaw Lan, who died in May 2018.

Madam Tan's son Chia Soo Kiang had argued that doctors Dorai Raj D Appadorai, Lee Wei Sheng and Ranjana Acharya had been negligent in diagnosing his mother at TTSH's emergency department and on admission to a ward.
Mr Chia said the doctors had failed to realise that Mdm Tan was having an acute heart attack when she arrived at the hospital.
Mr Chia also said the doctors and nurses were negligent in taking his mother for a shower against the family's wishes, not resuscitating her promptly after she collapsed and not obtaining consent from Mdm Tan when they stopped her medication for her heart, high blood pressure and hypertension.
Mr Chia sued the three doctors and TTSH for S$800,000.
Mdm Tan had a history of chronic heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stage four chronic kidney disease, hypertension, high cholesterol and heart failure among other ailments.

On Apr 20, 2018, she was taken in an ambulance to the emergency department of TTSH due to a persistent fever. She was diagnosed to have an infection of an unknown source.
Mdm Tan began to show improvement by Apr 22.
On Apr 23, an intern nurse helped her with showering and was in the midst of dressing her when Mdm Tan went limp and lost consciousness.
Other staff alerted to the incident helped with resuscitation but she did not regain consciousness. She died three weeks later on May 13, 2018.
Mdm's Tan family had declined to have an autopsy performed; and a coroner’s report produced later stated that Mdm Tan died of ischaemic heart disease with pneumonia - which was likely the source of her infection.
How does the Judge even know that the doctors were not negligent?
ReplyDeleteAnyone playing god and or seer, is greatly mistaken about him/herself.
Earthquake is beyond prediction despite it happenning for million of years, lots of monitoring equipment and specialist dealing with it.
Disease is just as complex as Earth Movement, if not more complex.
Just pray that cure can be found each time it happens. Not forgetting that many old diseases recur from time to time with many casualty and fatality.
Take Care and Wish All Well.

Did an unseen hand release the new variant into the population? Nothing much is heard of this new variant exploding in other countries. The new bivalent vaccine is not widely in demand even in the USA, but there seems to be a rush to roll it out in SG. The reason why the virus is spreading so rapidly in SG is probably because of the dense population and people have started to gather/congregate. Nothing to be alarmed about if the symptoms are not serious. Why not approach it therapeutically instead of introducing another foreign agent into the body, especially when its long-term effects are still unknown? Paxlovid is an effective drug for seniors infected with Covid if the govt would cover the cost.
Tech: Please lar, the so-called experts would say it has nothing to do with density or some man-made events, it’s due to climate change, a natural occurrence, so lan lan bo bian.
