Why I did not bother

This is a tik tok clip and some may not be able to view it. It is about an Indian woman questioning why people worship the Queen and how the British Empire invaded and robbed India and the massacre, rape and colonisation of the world.

When we were young, we read fairy tales and fictions of kings and queens, pretty princesses and brave and handsome princes. In reality, princesses are not necessary pretty, princes are not necessarily handsome. Kings and queens are not necessarily virtuous and generous.

In reality, kings and queens could be the beneficiaries of wars, conquests, slavery, looting, responsible for massacres and genocides. They got rich not because they worked for it, but because they killed and robbed and owned slaves or subjects of their empires.

Have we grown up and see the kings and queens as who they really are? Do we know where they inherited their wealth from, what have they contributed to the good of humankind or what have they done to the detriments of humankind? Would anyone be worshipping Satan if he called himself a king?

Have we grown up and start to discard fairy tales of kings and kingdoms? Have we grown up to know the difference between fairy tales and fictions and reality?

Knowing history and understanding history are important as without the knowledge of history, we may make a fool of ourselves in blindly idolising kings and queens as super human beans or virtuous beans, without knowing the crimes and sins they committed or their parent kings and queens committed to make themselves rich and for them to inherit ill gotten wealth from the blood and sweat of their victims. This is just like worshipping the Americans/AngloSaxon and the Japanese without knowing the atrocities, massacres and genocides they committed when they invaded countries.

If one understands history and know the past, one may have second thoughts about the greatness of kings and queens. Ask the victims of colonialism and invasion, about how many were massacred or genocided, and how their wealth were robbed by kings and queens. Ask what was the role of the Japanese king in the invasion of China, East and SE Asia. Ask how kings and queens sold drugs to cripple and kill to become rich and powerful, how pirates, murderers, cheats and liars were knighted by kings and queens when they killed and robbed in the name of kings and queens.

What is so great about kings and queens but glorified gangster chiefs.

Queen Elizabeth is the representative of colonialism, injustice and inequality. I am not a supporter colonialism, injustice and inequality. Think about the number of people who are killed and suffer under colonialism. Think about princess Diana death and how criminal prince Andrew escape justice. No one should be above the law. Think about how nasty toxic Mother in law is.

  5. Even LHL also worshipped her no end.

    So more fly half mast?

What in tarnation have we got to do with a British Queen. The worst of all the Kings and Queens combined, for the fact that she lasted from the age of 18 to 96!

Do you know how many crimes she had committed, in the name of colonialism?

What is colonialism? It is glorified invasion, pillage, plunder, rape, and all the inhuman behaviours combined in the name of making you the "subject" of the Queen/King.

You become a subject of the Queen/King. You become her/his slaves. You are to do what the Queen/King ordered you to do, and never to question why?

In other words. You are to do and to die, but never question why.

  6. TheSaker have this to say:

Another one bites the dust: shrivelled Lizzie drops off her perch

'Could someone with no initiative, no imagination and no original thought, who did what she was told to do, and said what she was told to say, be termed a “ruler” or a “leader”?

Or is “dutiful establishment puppet” a more accurate description? Would Lizzie have amounted to anything if she had not been born into the Saxe-Coburg family? Of course not.'

'QE2’s demise at age 96 is the biggest pseudo-news and biggest NON-event in the world today. I daresay that the Pakistanis who lost their families, friends and worldly possessions in the recent horrific floods, have other things on their minds. I daresay that the Yemenis and Palestinians being bombed and shot at daily, have other things on their minds. I daresay that the Afghans who had their bank deposits stolen by the USA and are now starving, have other things on their minds.

My view regarding Lizzie’s departure, after yawning repeatedly, is that everyone should instead focus, laser-like, on the existential concerns facing humanity: conflicts manufactured by the USA now raising our real risk of Nuclear Armageddon, catastrophic climate change, impending collapse of industrial civilisation from petroleum depletion, ecosystem devastation and rampant pollution, all which threaten to bring about our Near Term Extinction.

  8. What were those people lining the roads clapping and cheering when her coffin rode past them towards the church? Were they glad that she is gone? Must be! Good riddance seems to be in their mind.

These people are so dumb stupid they do not know when to clap and cheer for and when not to do it. Sometimes when their political leaders spout lies about China or Russia in Parliament, they also cheer and clap.Talk about a country with world class education, yet turning out people with no sense of right or wrong. Hope I do not ruffle some feathers here too!

In the novel 'Animal Farm', the pigs were very clever, using mind washing propaganda to control the other animals. When the pigs tell them 'Four leg good, two legs bad' they believe it. When the pigs tell them 'Two legs good, four legs better' they also believe it. In the end, all went back to two legs best.

By the way, there was a case of a shop in UK that put up a sign reading 'Lizard Liz is gone'. It was intimidated with pelting. Why did they call her a 'Lizard'? Any clue?

  13. Beijing University Experienced Some COVID-19 Cases And It Has Become A Big Deal

Beijing has strengthened COVID-19 prevention measures on campus as cluster infections in multiple universities continue to increase.

The capital city detected 14 new COVID-19 confirmed cases among quarantined individuals between 12 am and 3 pm on Sunday, 13 of whom are university students.

The recent clusters found in universities in Beijing originated from people returning to the capital from other provinces.

As students return to Beijing from all over the country for the new fall semester, the city has faced pressure to prevent imported infections from entering Beijing local schools amid the latest COVID-19 outbreak that has appeared in 29 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions since September 1.

Six new COVID-19 cases were confirmed at the Communication University of China (CUC) in Chaoyang district from 3 pm on Saturday to 3 pm on Sunday, bringing the total number to 13 since 12 am on Saturday.

Separately, another 151 teachers and students of the university were transferred to a centralized isolation point on Sunday.

The CUC will beef up the supervision of student buildings floor by floor, to make sure the health conditions of each student are accurately known by the school. Movement across blocks, floors, and rooms is prohibited within the school.

The university entered closed-loop management on Friday, after one suspected case was found on campus.

It is a critical period for schools to deal with the epidemic on campus.

.Whereas in Singapore, cases of 1,000 plus a day seems to be normal, alright and premises can now open up for regular customers. What an extreme contrast!

And so we simply insert the words:

    LIVING WITH COVID-19 WITH RESILIENCE!

    What magical words are these?

  17. Someone asked,

"Why do they called her a 'Lizard'? Any clue?"

    Here is the clue:

    What is a lizard person?
It's just what it sounds like.

Lizard people are cold-blooded humanoid reptilians who have the power to shape-shift into human form.

According to David Icke, a new-age philosopher and one of the most prominent theorists in the lizard people thingy, these creatures have their claws in humankind since ancient time, and world leaders like Queen Elizabeth, George W. Bush, the Clintons, and Bob Hope are all lizard people.

Applying other conspiracy theorists' theories, David Icke even claims that the lizards are behind secret societies like the Freemasons and the Illuminati.

Read David Icke's 1998 book, "The Biggest Secret", is considered an important milestone in lizard people theory.

Do people actually believe in this stuff?
    Yes.

How many Americans believe in lizard people?

    At least 10%.

  19. I am glad that young people like that lady still have not forgotten the very heinous crime that Tony Blair committed, in compliciti with the Evil George W. Bush, in fabricating all the fake evidence to start the war in Iraq, that destroyed the country and killed millions. Unpardonable war crime, clear and simple.

She should be an Iraqi, comes across as well educated, speaks perfect English, not brainwashed like bananas elsewhere, clear headed and precise in her criticism. Well said girl!

And yet Blair got knighted for all those evilness by the equally evil monarchy.

  20. Until today, I still hold a very strong belief that Diana was actually murdered at the Operating Table in France.

The "accident" was supposed to assassinate the couple. But Diana did not die on the spot. So, they sent "James Bond" in to finish her off.

I have read all the reports presented by the British Government and found that there still exists too many loopholes and un-answered questions.

So when the Queen passed away, they are lost, did not know how to go on with their lives, forgetting that the Queen is the furthest thing in their lives except in fairy tales.

  25. In the early hours of 31 August 1997, Diana, Princess of Wales, died from injuries sustained earlier that day in a car crash in the Pont de l'Alma tunnel in Paris, France.

Dodi Fayed, Diana's partner, and Henri Paul, the driver of the Mercedes-Benz W140 S-Class, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Her bodyguard, Trevor Rees-Jones, was severely injured, but survived the crash.

Some media claimed the erratic behaviour of the paparazzi following the car had contributed to the crash.

In 2008, eleven years later, the Jury at a British Inquest, Operation Paget, returned a verdict of unlawful killing through grossly negligent driving by Paul and the following paparazzi vehicles.

Some media reports claimed Rees-Jones survived because he was wearing a seat belt. However, many other investigations and witnesses revealed that none of the occupants of the car were wearing seat belts.

Diana was 36 years old when she died. Her death caused an unprecedented outpouring of public grief in Britain and around the World; and until today many people are still thinking that Diana was murdered by unknown forces

Who was the Prime Minister of UK at that time? Tony Blair.

Tony Blair told Princess Diana her relationship with Dodi Fayed was a problem.

So, did this problem resulted in her death? That is a very high probably, don't you think so?

And that could be the reason why Tony Blair was knighted?

  26. Tony Blair told Princess Diana her relationship with Dodi Fayed was a problem.

Ex-PM Tony Blair reveals in his memoir that he told the princess he was uneasy about her relationship with Fayed.

"We were both in our ways manipulative people," Blair writes, "perceiving quickly the emotions of others and able instinctively to play with them."

As well as admitting a strong personal fondness for Princess Diana – "I really liked her and, of course, was as big a sucker for a beautiful princess as the next man; but I was wary too" – Blair saw her as encapsulating the political sea change that swept the country in 1997: "Whatever New Labour had in part," Blair writes, "she had in whole."

But Diana was, writes Blair, "an unpredictable meteor" who burst into the royal family's "predictable and highly regulated ecosystem". Her death, three months after Blair entered Downing Street, was "menacing" for the royal family. The Queen was reluctant to speak to the nation after her death because she "didn't want to pretend to a view of Diana that was more conflicted than the public could accept".

But it was Diana's relationship with Dodi Fayed that concerned Blair. The last time they met was in July. "It had not been all that easy," he writes. During a private walk in the grounds of Chequers Blair told Diana that he felt her relationship with Fayed "was a problem".

"This was not for the obvious reasons, which would have made some frown on him; his nationality, religion or background don't matter a hoot to me. I had never met him ... so if you ask me, well, spit it out, what was wrong, I couldn't frankly say, but I felt uneasy," he writes.

Diana didn't like Blair's interference – "I could feel the wilful side of her bridling" – but by the end of the conversation they were again on a "warm and friendly" footing.

Despite their personal relationship, Blair admits that from the moment he was told of her death, he was "trying to work out how it should play".

"I know that sounds callous," he reveals. "I was genuinely in grief ... but I also knew that this was going to be a major national, in fact global, event like no other ... I had to work out how it would work out."

Blair is candid about the tension of the days immediately following Diana's death: "Throughout, we were walking a tightrope, thinner and more frayed by the day, between organising everything to go well and 'cashing in' or exploiting."

He admits that the now-famous phrase he used the next day, "the people's princess" now seems like something from "another age. And corny. And over the top. But at the time, it felt natural."

Despite the high drama of Diana's death, however – and a poll showing he had an "absurd rating of 93% approval" (in an internal Labour poll) – Blair insists he never lost sight of the fact that there were more important challenges on the horizon.

"I had, at least, the sense to know ... that the tests of achievement for a prime minister and a government were rather different," he writes.

  29. Very interesting. Like many people the World over, I strongly believe that monarchy should end once this criminal Queen has ended. She had committed too many crimes in her lifetime of 96 years. That's terrible!

Why glorify her life - a terrible and unbearable life of murders, assassinations and massacres?

Why must we fly half-mast on her funeral day - to pay respect? What respect? Respect for qn overdued lifetime of colonialism, for killings and massacres?

Some people might have benefitted from the treatment given to them by the Monarch but these people should not impose upon the whole nation to kowtow to her.

It is one thing to pay personal respect but totally different to impose upon the whole nation to fly half-mast on her funeral day.

There are great differences of opinions - while some may like her but many others do not. This fact jas to be seriously considered before we fly half-mast - because this is the highest respect to be given to an incumbent who passed away.

As the British Monarch, who happened to have put us in dire strait, she should not be given the highest respect!

    That is my view.

"A nice, 96-year-old woman has passed.

From the instant that the news of her death was announced, the tone of much of the media’s coverage has been sombre and reverential. With a funeral procession and succession ceremony on the horizon, we can expect that hushed, respectful mood to persist.

But, even at this subdued hour, it would be deeply irresponsible and an egregious mistake to avoid acknowledging that the imperial institution Queen Elizabeth II led has caused indelible harm and suffering to so many people, in so many places.

Only recently have members of the royal family been obliged to admit publicly the inhumane consequences of the crown’s long, disfiguring history of being the pretty face to the violence, racism, slavery and wholesale pillaging of largely non-white nations that made up Britain’s colonial empire."
