Unfortunately the barbarians do not believe in punishments from heaven. Their religion is different, a religion that, since Roman days, calls for violence, war and mass killings to control, forced religious genocides against Native Americans and elsewhere to convert them to their religion and look at them, still the Number 1 evildoers that no one can go against. They want to destroy the world.
Heaven is great. Right now, the USA is destroying Europe. UK is next to follow Canada and Holland, with protest on the cards and calls to stop paying for gas, which households are finding it extremely difficult to cope with. It is either food on the table or gas for heating. It looks like food is more important now, but when winter comes, that may change. The situation will get out of control if gas companies are not paid and gas supplies cut off or prepaid supplies are introduced. Then the shit will hit the fan.
Really that bad in UK? Thought they were so gung ho about accepting Hong Kong people and Ukrainians, just to poke the Dragon and Russian Bear in the eye. Look at them now, relatively quiet as a mouse and engaging in domestic quarrels that have yet to escalate further. Using Russia and China as bogeymen seems less of a concern for it's people than the realities of shortage of food and gas. Pledges of billions to help their citizens are pre-election promises, but when elected, politicians have very short memories. Just a short while ago Liz Truss was calling for wage cuts, now singing a different tune. The same in the USA.
Now, as Italy has fallen, who is next? The Turks are rethinking their strategy of following the EU blindfolded, and are now leaning towards the Russians. Spain, Portugal and some southern EU states are not happy about the cut in their quota of gas supplies to support Germany and the Northern EU states. That is unhappiness that will tear the EU apart. All because of just eating from the hands of the Evil USA. Now they have to pay the price, when they could be enjoying cheap Russian oil and gas, had they not sanctioned or go against Russia so openly on the orders of the USA.
Looks like witches everywhere are going to destroy the world. Look at what one USA witch did by visiting Taiwan. The UK looks likely to be ruled by witchcraft too. The EU's future is now in the hands of another witch. And Taiwan, under another witch, is paying dangerously for it.

Saving earth has been tossed out the window. It is a dead cause and a deadly turn for the worse for Mother Earth. The EU is planning to bring back coal fired power generation, indicating that their alternative plan for alternative oil and gas has fallen by the wayside. Under Angela Merkel, Germany even tried to wean itself off nuclear power generation, sensing the danger, and it was to be smooth sailing with cheap oil and gas imports from Russia to be enhanced by the construction of Nord Steam 2. That dream was ended by the USA for good. But now the EU is calling members to bring back coal and going back to square one.
ReplyDeleteFor the EU, the problem with coal is the same as gas and oil from Russia. The EU openly and gloatingly sanctioned Russian thermal coal, so they now have to source for coal, mainly from the USA and Australia among others. Ukraine is rich in coal, but they are located in the East, now controlled by Russia. So near, yet so far. Can see but cannot take. Ironic!
Importing coal from USA or Australia, thousands of miles away, is going to cost the EU countries a fortune, just like oil and gas. Who is willing to pay such a high price? I am sure the EU citizens will know soon and it is going to hurt their pockets, not the politicians, whose only preoccupation is punishing Russia and is backfiring on all cylinders. It must be painfully obvious listening to their talk of lifting some sanctions on Russia, that the sanctions are hurting them instead. That reversal of sanctions will be a big tight slap on their stupid faces. They thought Putin will blink first, but that was sadly mistaken.
First and foremost, German, French and Polish industries are going to suffer the most, with some already talking about having to close shop. That means jobs will go, unrest will follow, and what do you think is next? Italy has fallen, protest have been ongoing in Canada and Holland, to be followed by the UK, but never mind, just keep it discreet on MSM and concentrate on Sri Lanka, Pakistan and China.
Wonder whether they are fooling themselves or trying to fool the world. Both are plainly cutting the nose to spite the face.
The way we are digging and building, piling more and more on this little rock, it is a wonder that Red Dot is not sinking. Even then, melting ice at the poles are raising sea levels. I know we are building sea walls. For what purpose? Or are we not aware of the sinking feeling?
ReplyDeleteCities like Jakarta, Bangkok, Manila, even Ho Chi Minh City are sinking due to overbuilding. But they have alternatives to move their capital elsewhere. Where can Red Dot move to? Pedra Branca? Maybe we are exceptional like the USA. Follow the USA's exceptionalism and we are exception. God willing! LOL.
Now we know North Korea has made it's stand clear. The fact that they are prepared to send 100,000 of their own soldiers to fight for Russia in Ukraine, is tantamount to telling the USA and the West that this is the least they will also do for China. China is doing the economic side of the help to support Russia, while North Korea, not being in a position to do likewise, is pledging it's military assistance.
ReplyDeleteWhy do I say that China is much more important to North Korea than Ukraine? Ukraine is thousands of miles away from North Korea and is an unimportant strategic place in the eyes of North Korea compared to China, which if it is attacked and fall, is a much more catastrophic consequence and outcome for North Korea, being so close a neighbour, with the same degree of hatred of the USA and the West.
So, the game is changing. North Korea had never been mentioned or co-joined as a partner in the alliance of Russia and China, at least not openly professed before. But now it is clearly defined. Iran is coming into the framing of the picture as well.
China meanwhile is giving help to Russia in the economic segment, while North Korea, not being in a position to do likewise, is pledging military support instead. The West keeps harping on the narrative that Russia is isolated and alone. Let them continue to fool themselves silly. Even India, a close ally of the USA, and a QUAD member, is helping Russia economically with more and more energy purchases. Does that show that Russia is isolated and alone? Russia is now even moving to establish alliance with Iran and Turkey, a member of NATO. So, the West can just continue to kid themselves silly, just like the Europeans kidding themselves about energy independence of Russia.
