When did this UN suddenly appear to call for an investigation of war crimes committed by Russia in Ukraine, for causing the death of a few hundred civilians? Where was the UN when the Americans and Europeans were bombing the daylight out of the Arabs and Muslims in Iraq, Syria, Libya. Afghanistan and Yemen? Was the UN created yesterday, or was the UN in hibernation? Did the UN know that hundreds of thousands of Arabs and Muslims were killed ruthlessly by the Americans and the Europeans when they invaded these countries? What about the war crimes against the Palestinians in the Gaza strip and West Bank?
Putin told the Americans that they were unfit to talk about war crimes when they had massacred so many Arabs and Muslims in the last 20 years of occupation and wars. Putin should also tell the UN to stop its hypocrisy and pretending to be working and wanting to investigate Russia for war crimes. The UN is also unfit for such a task when it failed or turned a blind eye to the atrocities and war crimes committed by the Americans and Europeans in the Middle East, and also refusing to investigate Fort Detrick as a likely source of the Covid19 virus.
In the case of Ukraine, the Ukrainians on the ground, on the site being bombed, were saying that the bombs came from Ukrainian soldiers. And Ukrainian soldiers have been donning Russian uniforms to attack them, attacking civilian Ukrainians and passing the buck to the Russians.
The UN has lost its credibility to represent the world as a world body on such issues. It failed miserably to investigate the crimes of the Americans and Europeans when all the evidence were there. Till today, it has still been unable to lift up its backside to bring Bush and Blair to face charges of war crimes for spreading lies about WMD to invade Iraq and destroyed that country and killing hundreds of thousands of Iraqis. It has still got to investigate the fake justification of fighting terrorists to invade Afghanistan and destroying that country as well and killing the poor tribesmen that had nothing to do with 911.
Stop your hypocrisy and charge Zelensky for crimes against the Ukrainians, in Donbass and Lugansk and also for plunging Ukraine into a war that needed happened. This is the least that the UN should do to redeem some credibility instead of being led by the nose by the evil Americans all the way.
For goodness sake, do something right, stand on your own two feet, to represent the rest of the world, not the American interest and defending American lies, disinformation and crimes against humanity.
Same on you, the UN, for being a stooge of the American Empire, shamelessly persecuting the victims of American naked aggression at the behest of the American gangsters and murderers.
'The U.S. dollar’s ties to oil have been crucial in helping prop up the currency’s demand globally. These ties have also helped drum up the psychological buy-in necessary for the world to collectively accept that “the next guy” is going to want their U.S. dollars.
ReplyDeleteBut given the alliance between Russia and China – and the newfound alliance between Saudi Arabia and China - it looks as though that confidence game might be coming to an end right before our very eyes.'

The mighty US military is about to be defang before our very eyes.
We should not write off the possibility of nuclear war between Russia and USA:
ReplyDelete'I also see another parallel: remember how the USA forced Japan into a war and then wrapped itself in the mantle of an innocent victim and declared “this day shall live in infamy”?
That is exactly what the USA just pulled off in Europe. And the consequences might be just as immense.
But there is a big difference here: Japan could not meaningfully strike at the continental USA. Russia very much can, with both nuclear and conventional weapons.
Here I will only repeat the quote by Putin which I mentioned the day before the Russian special military operation: “if a fight is inevitable you should strike first“. In plain English this means that if the Russian come to the conclusion that the US is engaged in a “Desert Shield” type of operation (claim to be only defensive while preparing for months for a fullscale ground invasion) then you can be sure that Russia will strike EU airports, seaports or any other facility used to prepare an attack on Russia.
In fact, if the US/NATO do decide to attack Russia, this will be the final, nuclear, end for the western civilization as such. After 1000 years of genocidal imperialism, one could be forgiven for thinking that this could be a fitting, just, end” in the “chicken coming home to roost” kind of karmic justice.'

The People's Bank of China held $3.2 trillion in reserves as of the end of February. Nearly 60% of the Chinese reserves are believed to be in U.S. government bonds and other dollar-denominated assets.
ReplyDeleteWhat would China be thinking of doing now after witnessing the US and allies freezing and swallowing Russia's central bank reserves and overseas assets, the Afghan peoples' central bank reserves being used by Biden to pay families of 9/11 victims, the European Union now contemplating using frozen Russian assets to fund Ukraine’s war recovery efforts?
Will a bank customer continue to leave his savings in a bank that he knew can later swallow up his savings?
Their arrogance let them to overplay their cards. Countries watching them doing this to Afghanistan and Russia are going to be cautious using the dollars lest the could be next. It will only lead to the faster decoupling and demise of dollar as reserve currency.
DeleteAlready, the process has began with Saudi Arabia, the creator of petrol$ and India talking about using RMB roubles Rpee and other currencies in trade.
How would US pay its 30T debt if the USD would to lose its status?
The American and their allies and lackeys may think it is easy to confiscate Russian money and assets. They better be reminded that they have to return every cent and with interest once Russia starts to reclaim them.
ReplyDeleteThe Russian claims would be backed by nuclear weapons. Even the Americans would have to cough out every cent they took or risk a nuclear war with Russia. And the little allies and lackeys would have their necks strangled if they dare to say no.
Russia is not Afghanistan or any small countries.
All the small countries must start to emigrate their funds out of the US and European control or risk being confiscated and forfeited by them. In such cases, they would have no military muscle to claim anything back.
China and Russia are two nuclear powers that are able to demand payback from the Americans and their little allies and teeny weeny lackeys.
Easy.
ReplyDeleteXi may spend it all on 1B1R.
Those countries that borrowed USD from China will pay back in RMB when the loans are due e.g. Argentina, after borrowing from China, would pay back its loans to IMF in soon-to-be worthless USD.
USD will then be going back to US via IMF.
If the US could remove Russian banks from the SWIFT system and freeze US-dollar assets of Russia and its nationals, many other countries and rich individuals and entrepreneurs are shaken as they will be forced to look for alternatives to SWIFT and the US dollar.
ReplyDeleteChina will support Russia 'cos US will use similar sanction tactics against China once Russia goes down.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bsbAtDoIoE
If USA fail to bring down Russia; the West will go down.
High risk and high stake game at play.
As our fav Phua Chua Kang siad it so well: Don't play play.
Can die in a blink of an eye!
Chinese President Xi Jinping's strategic foresight :"Start with one punch so that 100 punches could be avoided" - meaning pre-emptive war.
ReplyDeleteSo if US dare to declare they will defend Taiwan against China, then in any Chinese military operation to retrieve Taiwan, they will strike at American military bases first.
The UN has lost it's usefulness and credibility. It acts only for the interest of the USA and the West. Any action of the UN is now ]UN] or 'Useless Nonsensity' just to please the USA and the West.
ReplyDeleteIs it time to form another UN free from the clutches of the USA? There will be many countries that will migrate to it for sure. Many countries that suffered atrocities committed by the USA and the West will undoubtedly do so, and that should include Vietnam, Iraq, Syria, and most of all, many countries in Africa that were colonised by the Whites, plundered to no end, and gained nothing but poverty and backwardness.
Did the UN talk about investigating war crimes committed in Vietnam by the USA over the use of biological/Chemical weapons? A day ago I just came across a documentary about the effects of Agent Orange, that still affect children born three generations down the road. That is how horrific Agent Orange's biological effect on DNA is.
Did the UN also investigated the millions of innocents killed by the USA using carpet bombing in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria and Yemen. Looks like only White lives matter to the UN right? And the Blacks in USA are still thinking that Black Lives Matter. They are looking at a mirage.
Putin suggested some time ago about moving the UN headquarters to Europe, but now it seems that that is also not advisable for the UN to be under the European's control, who will still bend over backwards to please the USA. The UN is the rubber stamp made for the USA to legitimise their evil agenda. Replacing it is the best solution. The world had been fortunate that Russia and China still holds veto powers, otherwise the UN would have ran amok when the USA wants it to do so.
Suffice to say, China is slowly chipping away at the West's total control of many world bodies that have exerted unilateral control over others, with no competition, and can therefore dictate the rules.
Setting up the AIIB was a first step made by China to marginalise the IMF and World Bank's hold on countries that took their loans. Many in South America are finding out what debt trap really is after taking loans from the IMF.
Building the BRI was the other step to circumvent and neutralise the USA's naval power and total control of the sea routes and it's ability to choke off China's trade and oil in times of conflict. Now China has Russia to supply a large portion of it's oil and gas via pipelines and with Iran and Saudi Arabia touching base in China, China's energy reliance is quite secure and diversified. That is the reason why the USA is not taking so much strategic interest in the Middle Eastern Oil producers and those oil producers are not ignorant of this fact by ignoring Biden's phone calls to produce more oil. They are hedging their bets and do not bow just to the USA.
Moving forward it is only a question of time and how hard is the push by the West for another global system to rival SWIFT. Will Ukraine be that tipping point?
China would be foolish not to support Russia, because it is a certainty that the same treatment will be extended to China after Ukraine is over. This is not a guess. It is as sure as the sun rising from the East.
ReplyDeleteTherefore China can just ignore what the USA and the West is pressuring it to do and that is taking a stand. The only stand is to stand firm with Russia and recognising Russia's strategic interest. Nothing more, nothing less.
And yes, China must keep that finger on the nuclear button in case of a sneak attack. The USA had been secretly plotting to nuke China many a time. China must take that secretive threat seriously. Putin's finger is already on standby. And the USA and the West is complaining about it. Putin can't put his fingers where he likes meh?
Getting rid of the UN is not something unprecedented.
ReplyDeleteUK created the League of Nations and got replaced by UN after US won the WW2.
So very possible for UN to become a page in human history if US is defeated by Russi & China.
As Anon 9.33 said it correctly, Russia is not Japan during WW2. Then, Japan was not able to touch the USA mainland (they do not even have nuclear weapons) and the USA knows it and felt very secure. Not today. Russia can retaliate with the same intensity and the difference is it is going to be a zero sum game for both sides. Total annihilation of mankind is on the cards.
ReplyDeleteThat means bye bye world. Bye bye US$ hegemony. Bye bye 1,000 military bases around the world. Peace at last.
China and Russia have it mapped out on all the American and western targets to be nuked when WW3 starts. Their combined nuclear warheads would completely destroyed the American and western powers and their allies plus their lackeys that played host to American nuclear weapons.
ReplyDeleteSuch plans must have been completed and only when to execute should the Americans press the red button. There is not time to ponder, to hesitate, to confirm. Once a nuclear weapon is in the air, all the nuclear weapons would be fired as there is no second chance.
China and Russia are on full alert of such an eventuality and there is not a single moment when their attention is distracted. All eyes on the nuclear weapons of the Americans and the west, watching them like a hawk for the slightest movement.
The reckless and irresponsible Americans are playing with the destruction of humankind with their daily and unceasing beating of the war drums and wanting wars.
Looks like the war in Ukraine suddenly wakes up so many world bodies that were fast asleep under the rug during the Vietnam, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan wars.
ReplyDeleteNow suddenly ICC, UN, Human Rights Watch are all very active and investigating shit. Is it because White Lives, a few hundred of them, matters more than the millions of Vietnamese, Iraqis, Syrians and Afghans civilians killed? Wakey, wakey and do your dirty business, shouted the master.
And horrors of horrors, even the walking dead ie the 'Principled' beans are talking about principles .Do they really have 'principles' cherry picking on selective issues to put forward their moral 'principles'?
Singapore’s Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan said he hopes China will use its “enormous influence” on Russia to help end its war with Ukraine, warning that Beijing’s decisions in the coming days and weeks could determine the future path of the global economy.
ReplyDeleteHowever, NATO's eastward expansion is the root cause of Russia's anger and military operation in Ukraine. It's the US that should put out the fire it lit in Ukraine. Ridiculously, the US, and Singapore's Vivian, are demanding Beijing to do this job at the cost of damaging China-Russia relations.
This is unreasonable and insidious. By pushing China to denounce Russia and asking China to bear the responsibility for the fatal strategic mistake the US and NATO made in the construction of so-called European security, Washington has no intention of hiding its desire to sow discord between China and Russia.
After the Biden/Xi meeting conducted over the phone on Friday, it looks like China is, as expected, taking a firm stand and is not going to vary it's support and alliance with Moscow.
ReplyDeleteNow that the USA has failed to coerce China with threats of consequences galore, China has vowed to retaliate if those sanctions come about.
The USA has been itching to start a war with China for years, but is now involved instead in one with Russia. It is crazy trying to start another war with China. When that happens, you can expect the Russians will no longer be using kids glove to deal with Ukraine.
Do not be mistaken that the Ukrainians are really holding back the Russians, when in reality it is the Russians holding back and the Western media interpret this as heroic and successful Ukrainians pushing back. All this misinformation are manufactured by Little Britain, the devil that caused the war in Iraq with fake intelligence generated by Tony Blair.
Even some EU countries like Germany are still buying oil from Russia, and the US itself is still buying uranium and fertilizers from Russia as these are solely needed in the US and thus not sanctioned. So why should other countries like India have to listen to the US not to buy Russian oil ?
ReplyDeleteRussia Uses Hypersonic Missiles To Hit Ukraine Arms Depot
ReplyDeleteWhy should Russia need China's military help at all given its advanced weaponry? It's all US disinformation.
Russia said on Saturday that it had used hypersonic Kinzhal (Dagger) missiles to destroy a large weapons depot in Ukraine's western Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Russia's Interfax news agency said it was the first time Russia had deployed the hypersonic Kinzhal system since it sent its troops into Ukraine on Feb. 24.
Defence ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov told a briefing that the underground depot hit by the Kinzhal system on Friday housed Ukrainian missiles and aircraft.
Also, the Russian Defense Ministry has released a video showing an unmanned aerial vehicle destroying an ammunition depot of the Ukrainian Armed Forces with a high-precision missile.
"The video, made by an objective monitoring system, recorded a pinpoint missile strike on an underground hangar containing weapons and ammunition," the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
Meanwhile, a Chinese diplomat mocks West’s perception of ‘international community’
Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Zhao Lijian mocked the West’s limited perception of the international community on Friday.
In a Twitter post on Friday, the diplomat published a map of the world, depicting only the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Western Europe, who often make statements on behalf of the entire global community.
"The international community you always hear about," he wrote.
There is so much disinformation on MSM, all fabricated to make Russia look weak and losing grip on the war. The reality is just the opposite. Trying to silence the truth, like cutting off RT, will not deter those seeking the truth.
ReplyDeleteThe USA and the West think that people are as ill informed today as during the Iraq War. They can pull the same stunt, but will not be able to fool that same many people.
I think the West has run out of options to make sanctions meaningful without hurting themselves. The fact that they are still buying stuff from Russia shows that they cannot have it all their way.
Just banning oil imports from Russia alone, right from the starting line, and Biden had to call UAE, Qatar and Saudi leaders for help. He even did the shameless thing by asking Iran and Venezuela. people he disparages earlier, for help, all without success. Why in the world would they want to help him. It is unthinkable!
And Boris Johnson thought he could do better by going around with a 'begging bowl', as his own detractors at home called it, visiting the Middle East Monarchies for help, all without anything to show. Boris should start drilling some holes inside 10, Downing Street or inside his own garden and try to get some oil out. LOL

ReplyDelete>> The mighty US military is about to be defang before our very eyes. <<
Not really. The US defense dept actually wants the USA to GET OFF being the global reserve. They are very against the USD becoming increasingly "weaponized" because that creates a lot more problems that eventually require "military" and/ or "geopolitical" interventions.
There are people in the USA itself who want to get out of the PetroDollar system. It seemed to work GREAT for a while giving the USA exorbitant privilege, but any damn fool can see that now it has become a HUGE LIABILITY for the USA and the world.
Political winds are shifting. The old boomers are retiring and the "new blood" of younger leaders have different ideas. They are increasingly becoming AWARE of the MISTAKES made by their predecessors, many of who still hold onto a polarised "Cold War" mentality.
Ideas change, and science progresses one funeral at a time. It'll take YEARS for the USD global reserve system to be replaced entirely. But it has to start somewhere.
The US defense may want the USA to pull out of the US$ global reserve status, but there will be much to do dealing with the aftermath.
ReplyDeleteThe inability to print more banana notes, that nobody wants by then, is one. How then can they deal with the debt problem not to mention the derivatives nuclear bomb. Then there is the blowback of support from allies, who will be seeking new alliances. A big mountain to climb indeed. Bravely enjoying the ride on a tiger may be easy, getting off is not that easy.
Exactly. UN should investigate US crimes in Iraq and Tian An Mien.
ReplyDeleteThe West is waging an information war against Russia, it includes elements of information terrorism, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Friday.
ReplyDelete"Substitution of notions often takes place. When something happens, like mass protests, demonstrations that they [the West] don’t like, they immediately call it domestic terrorism. It’s a war. It’s a war which involves methods of information terrorism. There is no doubt about this," he said.
According to Lavrov, the global information field is dominated by the American and British media and the Anglo-Saxon world in general. Russia occupies a modest place here, the foreign minister said. "It’s another matter what the quality of those information outlets is," he added.
"We understood long ago that there is no such thing as an independent Western media. In the United States, only Fox News is trying to present some alternative point of view. But when you watch other channels, when you read social networks and Internet platforms, when acting president was blocked, you realize that this censorship continues on a large scale," Lavrov stressed.

Ah! My good friend Sergei. как дела?
ReplyDeleteIf you follow the MSM, Ukraine has killed all the Russian Generals, destroyed all the Russian tanks, shot down all the Russian planes, is now invading Russia and Putin is begging for a ceasefire.
ReplyDeleteHollywood has never made a more one sided movie than this.

ReplyDelete>> The US defense may want the USA to pull out of the US$ global reserve status, but there will be much to do dealing with the aftermath. <<
Oh yeah, it'll be a "black box" situation where no one can predict the "output" cos of the immense complexity, and not one but possibly thousands of effects/ consequences happening...many unseen or unknown or worse...the "unknown unknowns".
The post Bretton-Woods USD/ PetroDollar / EuroDollar systems are vast, planet-wide and so important (despite its obvious faults which everyone knows and complains about but does nothing) to day to day life, commerce, trade, energy and food security...everything...it cannot just change overnight.
I don't worry about it, because I probably won't live that long to experience the obvious negative effects when it does.
It will get REALLY BAD, and hang around for awhile before it becomes "good" again.
